As usual Germany played spectacularly. They are looking very organised and very together as a team. I have an old loyalty when it comes to Germany. NP, the guy looks nothing like a Somali.
-
Some exciting games today, Ecuador v Germany & Engalnd v Sweden. They should give us a clearer picture of how the world cup will shape up. Go Germany (and England) if that is possible

Exams, Summer holidays, work, unusual time of year to be bored. The sun shining get out? p.s I care about Somalia, don't you know aloofness is so last year What are you doing to keep yourself entertained?
-
Alexus, Im deeply offended. Why would I support the mutilation of my fellow kind?
-
He died? How can someone be beaten on a bus and no one will come to their aid? Not even the driver? He should be arrested and charged with manslaughter at the very least.
-
^^^LOL It must be terrible indeed.
-
Not bad at all. I think Brazil has some serious challenges this time round.
-
I don't know all the fact but if he took his daughter on purpose to have her circumsticed, then he deserves what he gets. That should teach a lesson to all Somali parents, if you are not willing to protect your kids others will.

Oh well, the last of the Africans (Ivory Coast) are going home. It was still a good game.
-
^^I thought the woman was attending also. But it's not so suprising even if she were attending the school, Somalis are doing well for themselves these days, despite the mass hysteria of our doomsday we hear day in and day out.

There are many venues that they can use to challenge the police, all talk and no action. May Allah ease his pain & the family's.

Cara sounds too knowledgable. I don't understand why people choose to stay in violent situations.
-
^^^LoL Yes there are some violent men & women. I'm sure some tough Somali women exist, the type whose habar sends shivers down your spine.
-
Zafir, there are limits to love, believe me there are limits.
-
^^lol I thought so too. There is a professor at the School of African and Oriental Studies univeristy of London who speaks excellent Somali. I believe he gives classes in Somali as well, written and spoken.

I think you already know what to do when you say 'perfect role for me' and 'too good to turn down'. Taking risks even in jobs is normal, if it will develop your career and steer you towards where you want to be then go for it. What's the pay like no you should do it regardless. If it depends on funding it might well be continued, people are made redundent all the time. Nothing is secure, it's always exciting to go for change.

France are aging, I wasn't impressed with them at all.
-
The African teams so far are frustrating, I still have hope for Ivory Coast, we ll see. Keep grinning Aussies it will be short lived. Why are you all up this late?
-
^^NP & Legend, we know the English are not great sportsmen. Australia will be lucky to reach round two.
-
The World Cup doesn't start for Brazil until the quarter finals, it seems anything before that is training for them

I thought the Ghana-Italy game was great football. I have never seen so many wasted chances by Ghana though. In the end, Italy showed that they had better co-ordination & experience. I really think Germany can win the world cup. For obvious reasons I can't support them loudly enough where I live as they are the most hated nation whe it comes to football. Ivory Coast played great, considering they played one of the best teams, there is no shame in loosing 2-1 to Argentinia, especially if you dominated the game.

If anyone wanted to help Somalia they had 16 years. How dare they now? This teaches all Somalis an important lesson, any support gained from the US can shift at any day.

^^^ If they ever find room in their brains beyond binge drinking and shopping to mention Africa
