LOZ, hmmm, maybe I'll need goggles to see better into the ocean before settling for any old fish, they come in 1000s of verities and one must be sure to have the rarest, most brilliantly coloured among them all.

Val in the corporate sector they organise limo and travel, flights accommodation and flowers for b'days, anniversaries, for slutty home wreckers, and appointments and everything else that is reasonable, at least that’s what some of them used to do in HSBC. lol@whale, she specifically requested a fish. I do hope you get your fish. Whoever is going Cumra please pray for us all, just ask God t o grant us what we want, and he will know exactly what it is

Omg Xanthus, its 2007, who still eats white bread, with the exception of french bread?
-
Xanthus, the ones that claim to be organic and taste disgusting. Stick to Kings.
-
Depends what kind of bread & what size, if you want nice wholemeal bread its between 89p to £1.30, last I did the shopping, which isnt very often. What's the obsession with bread these days North?

I guess a little melodramatic fussing gets rid of some of the stress.

I think it's best to have your kids back to back LoooL, meesha dukaan nac nac miya P? As if it was that easy. KK, I have no idea, whatever works best for the parents I think and whatever Allah decides. I would consider career, and age considerably. I mean if I was 30 by the time I had my first child, you can forget having 'breaks' as people call it . You would want to be fit enough to chase your kids and still able to walk without a stick on their graduation. I think 2 yrs is healthy & close enough to be close. I had a blast growing up with my sisters, I feel sorry for our youngest, the one that almost didn't happen, even though we try our best, everyone is too old and too busy for him. He reads a lot

Er, I have good friends who remind me to say I'A all the time, I'm afraid I don't say it as often as I should . As for lying, I don't see how it's lying if you are saying if God wills it?

I thought Glastonbury was for deranged rock stars

Aaaaaah, such good memories of is luxid . Before I'm accused of being dirty my innocent 12yr old self could not speak english at the time . Another ultimate 90s song, by Prince, the most beautiful girl I think it was called (or at least that’s how the chorus went). Couldnt find it online.

Munira ignore them. Why would you want to be included in pet talk? Or who drank how many pints? You could always wait till they are done and start another convo.

What about all the sisters who wear their jilbabs, abayas and hijabs in the scortching heat? I have a lot of respect for them. I mean surely it has to be harder than just turning your bloody head.

Naughty Cara. Anyone know where you can buy those big boxing bags that you hang up & punch the hell out of? Just realized I've over a 1000 posts. Is there an exclusive lounge in SOL where plus 1000s hang out?

I think we’ve all agreed by now that these decisions differ from woman to woman. If every woman stayed at home who would provide all those services women need so badly? And tmwr some women will complain that they cant go doctors or dentists or see bankers in private because they are ‘all men’. Someone, somewhere and some child will need to be sacrificed. I agree with Rahima 100%. However, what fulfils you and makes you a whole person (in your case a career) differs from woman to woman, for some the thrill and fulfilment they get from their careers has been moved into their children, who now compensate, and they no longer have the need to work. Ideally it would be nice if the mother could spend some quality time with the child in its first year, and most maternity leaves are 1 yr. For many more staying at home is a temporary solution. Be warned though, from what I see of my nephews, those little brats are very seductive. I don’t think we should worry so much, many careers are now flexible some mothers in my office work from home 2-3 days a week, a lot is dependent on technology. I’m sure we’ll all make the right decisions when the time comes, I for one intend to have the best of both worlds so relax girls.

D&D, Perhaps instead of killer heels and jeans, (although I fail to see how that cannot be appreciated) you could say ‘like live football, spacious sofa and iced drink?’
-
Val, I agree These days you are seen as cheesy or unreasonable if you do actually accept and indeed believe in love. I'm tired of all these cynics! They should all be forced to listen to 'love is in the air, everywhere I gooooooo'

Why are the wkends so wet and sh*tty and come monday to friday it's clear blue skies

^^^ Well that's just lack of understanding, many ppl pray without knowing the meaning of what they are saying or doing, not sure if those kind of prayers are accepted, but I'll let someone with more Islamic knowledge answer that.
-
^^^sounds cool...does anyone do a sommersault through a window and smash it by any chance?
-
I was merely pointing out that there is no thought process involved, it is like eating food three times a day because food is placed in front of you! I should change to "the people i met pray because...." but the other that i stand by it! Yes praying can become a habit laakin surely one makes a conscious decision to pray? I find it hard to say that the droves of ppl who go to the mosque all go to impress each other. EDIT: Perhaps just they act nonchalant about it (unlike some uk ppl I know) doesn’t mean they don’t care!

Xanthus, you disgraceful human, put good things in your body, learn how to cook. And you CAN get sick of take aways, very quickly at that. Most take aways are way too hearty and rich to be eaten continiously. What can you have to stay awake without resulting to coffee?

Give me till the end of the year then I’ll migrate to Somalia’s’ Baadiyo and herd camels and goats while I sunbathe in the sun. For now I'm liking my job. p.s. CVs are nothing without an unflinching strong personality that goes beyond the usual cliché responses and is genuinely interested in the job. No matter how you sugar coat it shows when you're not into a job at interview stage.

Pipi langkous, Alfred the duck.......I think the show was called...alone in the world....Babar the elephant...was also aight. ME, yep, Alfred's duck family got run over and he was adopted by one of those blind earthy animals, I don't know what they are called in English, and he used to live in a gaint yellow shoe. That show got me through many boring icy winter afternoons.
