It's a failed society product of which is a failed political system. Expecting something good from such system is foolhardy. Best case scenario is it ends without all out war and violence.

Is there any country in the world where a former president is a member of Parliament? Anywhere?

Adan Madobe elected Speaker of Somalia’s Lower House
Dhagaxtuur replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
Did any say anything about Ismail Cumar Geelle and his direct involvement in this election. I heard he is financing any worthwhile opposition to Farmaajo from any group. His preference being HSM (president) Deni (PM). And with that, 'would the last person please turn off the life support machine ' of Somalia. -
Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdisaid and Nabadon Yasin Attacked
Dhagaxtuur replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
Really? Permission to go to your home town, in your own country, to see your family. -
It should essentially become a commercial capital. Period.

I once heard this white Anglo-Saxon man say, "everything we have in the west is based on mutually agreed principles, and if we lose them, we are done for " or words to that effect.

Are you agreeing with this despicable capitulation of the so called Arab leadership? Just to twist the knife of shame, they held the meeting the tomb of Ben Gurion!

It's an issue of faith not lineage. Shia might have twisted understanding of Islam but at least, they proclaim 'Laa ILLAHA ILA LLAAH'

This fat b@stard needs to be demoted ASAP. Why parliamentary seat is a hot cake all of a sudden? Hiding justice? Done a lot of shyt behind closed doors?

Farmaajo had just started his sixth year, yet not much to show for it.
Dhagaxtuur replied to galbeedi's topic in Politics
These mfckers that support president cause of his qabiil will never seize to amaze. MMA, the brother of XSHM had nothing before that I have been told. Now, his little gift from brother Xasan he is OK. I think, Farmaajo, will leave presidency with no loot from his tenure, hopefully. Thus far, the trajectory is good. -
^Ahaydaa! Anglo-Saxon vs Slavs. Slavics are claiming their own brethren, Ukraine, but arrogant Anglo-Saxons are forcefully hijacking Ukraine into their sphere. Thus is also strategic weak point for Russia. It's funny, at the collapse of ussr, nato promised Russia, we won't move an inch towards your former bordering states, they smashed that. Khaa'in hadduu jirey waa reer Galbeed

^Wasn't that obvious? I think 3 years is not enough unless we get miracle. There will be extensions.

^apart from the fact that in Islamic point it's haram to steal, which is what this is, I don't give a toss US dollars squandered. They have ruined us with their secret services and geopolitical gerrymandering. Again, if this wasn't islamically wrong, I would have said 'kudos ' to my fellow somalis. Hip, hip, Hooray!

Who is the 'elusive' Fahad Yaasiin Xaaji
Dhagaxtuur replied to Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar's topic in Politics
^ I really don't. But you know and I know that when one person has that much say so, without powers of oversight, it's extremely detrimental. This fellow is Qatar's money bags, literally. He's opportunist. It's the money that brought Mr Farmaajo and him together. The problem I have with the head of state is he should by now realise that somali presidency is sacred than someone that facilitated financially his route to the presidency. Farmaajo is still way too reliant on him. No one is bigger than the presidency. -

Are they dead, are they alive, are they fighting in a foreign war
Dhagaxtuur replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
Not going to work in Somalia. Will lead to more bloodshed. All Somalis need against any use of any kind of force is 'TOLBEELAYEEY'. The ultimate Somali war cry. I still believe that advice is coming from the wrong quarters to the ruling elite. A small pocket of people are taking big decisions to the detriment of the majority. -
I don't know more than most know. However, if you closely study individuals either elected or are in the process to be elected for Parliament are implicated. The mastermind behind their guaranteed selection, look no further. This fellow reminds me of a certain Dominic Cummings, former chief of staff for the British pm, who was largely believed to be the force behind pm's election and brexit vote. This man has literally sacked secretary of state, but eventually was uncrememoniously shown the door as he was too big for his boots. Point is, this fellow, behind closed doors, is too powerful and is dictating direction of where things are heading in his own view. That is not what Somalia needs at this point in time.

Behind the scenes, he actually is. Qatari money bags coupled with a favour from a president that sees him as his king maker, he is actually spin doctor of all spin doctors. He, Fahad, made sure that all his close friends and those implicated in the Ikraan case get a seat in Parliament. Guess what? To avoid scrutiny in the future. This fellow's politics are zero sum game. In today's Somalia, you need cohesive politics that bring people together, not the use of money and muscle (military, as he thinks). The man that was supposed to curb and clip his wings for the greater good is asleep on the wheel. As we all know, because of such bs politics, the opposition are in the process of creating a parallel system of government or worse the return of violence as we saw April. No human being should have or feel to have that sort of power in any country, let alone a country as fragile politically as Somalia. We already have. Thanks to this fellow and people that think like him. This country is fragile, compromise and negotiation continously is the way forward. Not buying parliamentary seats and placing your stooges as governors.

...Fahad Yaasiin and the clout he wills over decisions and direction of the administration. I think, this fellas influence and power is destructive. It's my belief that so called head of state is heavily reliant on this guy for direction. This is not healthy, and will lead the country down the abyss.

Paying respects to the current suldaan
Dhagaxtuur replied to Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar's topic in Politics
Apparently, uae are rejigging their foreign policy for the next 50 years. This is their new political facet. Reality has awoken their senses. Bellicose politics, they realised, doesn't work so they're trying a different approach. But I still think, deep down, they will always be treacherous, politically, to the Muslim world.
