ÙÙÙŠ اليوم السابق كان صدام حسين قد امر السلاح الجوي من جهة، والجنود بدباباتهم من جهة اخري، ان يتوغلوا ÙÙŠ الاراضي الايرانية ÙÙŠ الجبهة الشمالية والجنوبية ÙÙŠ شرق البلاد التي يبلغ طولها خمسمائة كيلومتر. ها هو إذن رد طهران. بعد ذلك بعشرين دقيقة وصلت اولي سيارات الاسعا٠لتنقل الموتي والجرحي. كان اول الضحايا ولد ÙÙŠ الخامسة من عمره، كان قد قضي الليلة مع والديه واخوته الكثيرين Ùوق سطح المنزل ليستمتعوا بنسمات الخري٠الباردة. كان رأسه قد Ùصل عن جسمه، لا يربطه به سوي بعض الجلد المغطي بالدماء والطين والغبار. وكان والده ووالدته واخته قد لقوا ايضا حتÙهم بعدما أطاح بهم الضغط الشديد الناجم عن انÙجار قنبلة بالقرب من السطح الي حديقتهم الصغيرة. كان منظر الدم المتجلط والطين الاحمر والغبار يستدعي ÙÙŠ النÙس صورة التماثيل السومرية من الطين المحروق. صراع طويل ÙÙŠ الراديو الذي ادرته علي برنامج الموجة القصيرة «صوت اميركا» كان احد المحللين ÙÙŠ وكالة المخابرات الاميركية يعلق علي اندلاع الحرب. ما زلت اتذكر انه قد تنبأ بصراع طويل، دموي إلي أقصي الحدود، مضيÙا ان هذا الصراع سيستمر لسنوات طويلة ولن يخرج منه اي من العراق او ايران مكللا بالنصر. لا اعتقد ان محلل وكالة المخابرات الاميركية كان يدرك انه Ù…ÙØ­Ùقٌّ Ùيما قاله. أذهلتني Ù…Ùاجأة الحرب تماما، لكن ÙÙŠ واقع الامر ربما كان عليَّ ان استشعر ان شيئا ما سيحدث؛ Ùقبل ذلك بستة اشهر كنت عضوا ÙÙŠ لجنة طارئة كانت مهمتها التحري عن مدي حاجة المستشÙيات المدنية والعسكرية ÙÙŠ العراق الي الادوية والمعدات وغيرها من التجهيزات الطبية. كان نص٠اعضاء اللجنة من وزارة الصحة والنص٠الآخر عينته وزارة الدÙاع، وكان يتكون من الضباط والاطباء علي حد سواء، وحتي عندما Ø·Ùلب منا بعد عدة اشهر من تشكيل اللجنة ان نعطي بيانات محددة عن مدي النقص ÙÙŠ المحاليل وبلازما الدم ومراهم الحروق والمضادات الحيوية الضرورية ÙÙŠ حال حدوث «كارثة وطنية» قد تخل٠من الجرحي ما قد يصل الي عشرة آلا٠جريح، حتي عندها لم ادرك انني اشترك ÙÙŠ الاعداد للحرب ضد جيراننا! السيطرة علي شط العرب علمنا ان شط العرب هو السبب وراء هجوم القوات المسلحة العراقية علي ايران. ÙÙÙŠ الشمال من مدينة البصرة يلتقي نهرا دجلة والÙرات ليكونا هذا النهر العظيم الذي يواصل سيره لمساÙØ© مائة كيلومتر حتي يصب ÙÙŠ الخليج العربي لتكوّن بذلك آخر ثمانين كيلومترا من مجراه الحدود بين العراق وايران. يمثل شط العرب المنÙØ° الوحيد للعراق علي الخليج العربي. ويحكي ان السندباد ÙÙŠ «أل٠ليلة وليلة» قد ابحر من شطّ العرب ÙÙŠ رحلاته الاسطورية. حارب العرب ÙÙŠ الغرب والايرانيون ÙÙŠ الشرق لمئات السنين من اجل السيطرة علي هذا النهر المهم استراتيجيا والمتعرض لظاهرة المد والجزر، والذي يشهد حركة ملاحية نشطة. كانت الحدود بين العرب والايرانيين تسير ÙÙŠ الجزء الاكبر من النهر بمحاذاة ضÙØ© النهر ÙÙŠ الجانب الايراني. ÙÙŠ شهر مارس من عام 1975 اعلن ÙÙŠ اجتماع الوزراء ÙÙŠ منظمة الاوبك ÙÙŠ الجزائر ان صدام حسين والشاه الايراني محمد رضا بهلوي قد اتÙقا علي تعديل الحدود لتسير بمحاذاة اعمق نقطة ÙÙŠ عرضه. كانت ايران تساند حينها بالمال والسلاح زعيم الاكراد مصطÙÙŠ البرزاني ومحاربيه المعروÙين باسم البشمركة الذين قاموا بتمرد جديد ضد القوات الحكومية ÙÙŠ شمال العراق، وذلك بعد ان ساد جو من الهدوء النسبي ÙÙŠ المناطق الجبلية، وهو ما يرجع الÙضل Ùيه الي اتÙاقية مهمة بين صدام وبرزاني ÙÙŠ عام 1970ØŒ حيث اتÙÙ‚ كل من الطرÙين علي ان يحصل الاكراد ÙÙŠ خلال الاعوام الاربعة التالية علي ما يشبه الحكم الذاتي الكامل، لكن كالمعتاد كان هذا وعدا زائÙا، ÙÙÙŠ مارس من عام 1974 انتهت المهلة المحددة لتشكيل حكومة الحكم الذاتي دون ان يمنح صدام الاكراد استقلالهم الذي كان قد واÙÙ‚ عليه كتابيا. ÙÙŠ بادئ الامر لم يجد مصطÙÙŠ البرزاني اي صعوبات ÙÙŠ ان يحرك الشاه الايراني الذي تجمعه علاقة طيبة بالولايات المتحدة الاميركية لمساندة ثورة الاكراد التي بدأها بعدما تبين له انه قد Ø®Ùدع من Ù‚Ùبَل صدام. كانت واشنطن لا تزال تتابع تقرب العراق من الاتحاد السوÙيتي بعظيم الارتياب، لذا لم يكن مضرا بالمصالح الغربية ان تسهم ثورات جديدة وحرب اخري ÙÙŠ اضعا٠النظام ÙÙŠ بغداد اقتصاديا وسياسيا، ذلك ما كانت تعتقده كل من وكالة المخابرات الاميركية والبيت الابيض. لكن الشاه طعن الاكراد ÙÙŠ ظهورهم عن طريق اتÙاقية الجزائر ÙÙŠ عام 1975ØŒ Ùلم يعد المتمردون يحصلون علي السلاح والمال، وذلك عندما اعلن صدام مواÙقته علي تحديد الحدود الجديدة ÙÙŠ وسط شط العرب. عندها وجد البرزاني Ù†Ùسه مجبرا علي وق٠الاعمال القتالية الي اجل مسمي، وهرب الي ايران حيث كان يقيم هناك مائة ال٠لاجئ كردي، معظمهم من النساء والاطÙال والشيوخ. كان من المقرر ان تنهي اتÙاقية الجزائر التي وقَّع عليها كل من العراق وايران الصراع بين الشعبين الشقيقين الي الابد. ذلك ما ورد ÙÙŠ الاتÙاقية، لكن لم تمر سوي اعوام قلائل حتي اخذت الاتهامات تنهمر من جديد بسبب انتهاك الحدود ÙÙŠ شط العرب، سواء من جانب بغداد او من جانب طهران، ÙˆÙÙŠ اثناء ذلك Ø£ÙسقÙØ· الشاه المريض بالسرطان، واستولت الاصولية الشيعية بعد ثورة 1979 علي السلطة بقيادة آية الله روح الله الخميني. ولم تتحسن العلاقة بين «الشعبين الشقيقين» عندما عاد خميني يساند بالمال والسلاح البرزاني والبشمركة الذين بدأوا تمردا من جديد ÙÙŠ المناطق الكردية ÙÙŠ شمال العراق. كانت الاخبار المستمرة حول انتهاك ايران للحدود ÙÙŠ شط العرب او ÙÙŠ اماكن اخري بمحاذاة خط الحدود الطويل تلقي بظلالها علي Ùصل الصي٠السابق لاندلاع الحرب، Ùقام الجيش العراقي ببعض الاعمال الانتقامية ÙÙŠ الاراضي الايرانية ردا علي ذلك، لكنني لم اكن اري ــ مثلي مثل معظم العراقيين ــ ان هذه المناوشات من شأنها ان تصبح حربا حقيقية. أسباب أخري للحرب إذن بدأت الحرب. اعلن الجانب الرسمي ان انتهاكات ايران المستمرة للحدود جعلت شن هجوم علي ايران امرا لا Ù…Ùر منه، لكننا كنا نظن ان هناك اسبابا اخري Ø®Ùية لهذا الاندلاع الÙجائي للحرب. وعند التأمل العميق يمكن ان Ù†Ùهم بسهولة ان الخميني واتباعه كانوا يسببون الخو٠والرعب لصدام والنخبة السنية المحيطة به، حيث كان معظم العراقيين ÙÙŠ آخر الامر شيعة، مثلهم مثل الاصوليين الذين استولوا علي السلطة ÙÙŠ ايران، ولم يكن احد يعلم اذا ما كانت الثورة الاسلامية يمكن ان تمتد الي العراق العلماني ام لا؟ كان نزار الخزرجي واحدا من اهم قادة صدام العسكريين، حيث عين رئيسا لأركان الحرب ÙÙŠ نهاية الحرب مع ايران التي امتدت ثمانية اعوام. كان نزار لا يخÙÙŠ عليّ ابدا ان الرئيس كان يري ان الهجوم علي ايران امر ضروري ليتقي به هجوما مستقبليا من ايران. «كان لابد من الهجوم قبل ان يتمكن آية الله ومن معه من الموالي ان يستعيدوا القوة الحربية الكبيرة للجيش الايراني الذي كان قد شهد ضعÙا كبيرا ÙÙŠ صÙÙˆÙÙ‡ بسبب الÙوضي التي عمت بعد سقوط الشاه، وبعد عمليات التطهير التي قام بها الضباط بعضهم بين بعض. كانت نصيحة المخابرات الحربية العراقية لصدام واضحة». طرد الخميني كانت العلاقات بين الرجلين القويين ÙÙŠ بغداد وطهران قد تجمدت بعدما القي بالخميني ÙÙŠ شهر اكتوبر من عام 1978 خارج مدينة النج٠ÙÙŠ العراق ــ المدينة المقدسة لدي الشيعة ــ حيث كان آية الله يبلغ من العمر آنذاك ستة وسبعين عاما. كان قبلها بأربعة عشر عاما قد عبر الحدود الي العراق ونزل بالقرب من ضريح الامام علي بعدما احتدم الخلا٠بينه وبين الشاه، واضطر الي الذهاب للمنÙÙŠ. كان الشاعر والاديب الذي تقلد منصب وزير الاعلام والثقاÙØ©ØŒ Ø´Ùيق الكمالي، قد ÙƒÙل٠بإبلاغ الخميني برسالة صدام التي Ùحواها ان استمرار بقاء آية الله ÙÙŠ النج٠من شأنه ان يصبح خطرا علي امن العراق ومصلحته القومية، وانه بالنظر الي الحالة غير المستقرة والمتوترة ÙÙŠ ايران، وحÙاظا علي العلاقة بين البلدين، Ùإن عليه ان يرحل. لا سلام ولا نظرة دخل الكمالي ومعه ÙˆÙد كبير شقة الخميني ÙÙŠ المدينة المقدسة، وقبل ان يسمح لهم بالدخول علي الخميني، ظهر سكرتيره الخاص واخبرهم ان آية الله الخميني لا يرغب ÙÙŠ مصاÙحة احد، وان عليهم ان يكتÙوا بتحية الاسلام المعروÙØ© «السلام عليكم»، وعندما دخلوا الحجرة التي يستقبل Ùيها الخميني ضيوÙه، كان الخميني يجلس مع المترجم علي الارض. قال الكمالي: «السلام عليكم»، لكن آية الله رد عليه السلام ببرود ولم ينهض ايضا، Ùكان علي اعضاء الوÙد العراقي ان يجلسوا هم ايضا علي الارض، قبل ان يصرح وزير الاعلام والثقاÙØ© برغبة صدام. كان الخميني يحملق ÙÙŠ سق٠الحجرة او ÙÙŠ مترجمه او سكرتيره بشكل لاÙت للانتباه، Ùلم يكن لينعم علي وزير الاعلام او اي من المبعوثين من بغداد بنظرة واحدة. كان يجيب عن الاسئلة بنعم او بلا، او يترك مهمة الاجابة عنها لسكرتيره الخاص. ولم ينظر الخميني الي الرسل القادمين من بغداد الا بعد ان انتهي الحديث الذي لم يدع Ùيه الكمالي مجالا للشك ÙÙŠ انه لا يوجد حل آخر سوي ان يغادر الخميني العراق ÙÙŠ اقرب وقت ممكن. ....Be continue Salam
