Why you think other Somalis are as same as your roots?Well,We all don't share the same roots but share the land. As we all know Egypt is an Arab country but NOT all Egyptions are Arabs(by blood). Some are Pharoahs, Some are from Arab tribes whom moved from Arab Peninsula (great example is Jamal Abul nasir.. my mom too ), Some are Turk decents...They all are Arabs today share the language and the land...But not the roots....Somalis are just like that..share the language and the land but not the root. For Baashi, the Germeny who learned Arabic isn't an Arab because Arabic language isn't his mother tangue.I know the Kurdish from Iraq whom Saddam forced them to be educated only in Arabic , speak their kurdish language at home therefore they are not an Arab they are Kurdish Iraqian. ADNAAN,wallalo, Somalis don't even know each other here.We are lucky if we say to each other "Salam Alaikom"..Somalis here are 3 groups: ... First Group: Eyal ma-yakhalef; wich means when somalis talk to us in Somali we don't understand them but to avoid embarrassment we listen to them even if that they asking question waitting for answer we reply " Ma ya-khalef" which means... ok or in Egyption"Ma'alesh".. Just like world (Sujui for Somali sawahilis... SomaliArabs called Eyal ma yakhalef)lol..These I'm one of them avoid anything and every thing associate us as a Somalis. Believe me in this group aren't only young generation because there are 40+ whom were born and raised here and never been in Somalia. The second group are these whom came later in their late teen for university /colleges or older whom came for work.. These we call them "Waryaat" we never understand each other and nothing to do with each other...because they insist being Somali is to be able to speak Somali!So we left the whole Somali things for them The third are our parents or grandparents.... Means first generation.. Most of them aged now.. This group speak Arabic but when they are really angery they forget all Arabic and curse you only in Somali..like my grand father does, who is 83 years old but masha-Allah still strong . * Back to your answer. Thanks God the marhoom from big family they are group of people who marry from each other ( Since Somalis don't marry from them)They getting larger.
