Ethiopia and Eritrea: Brothers at war no more
burahadeer replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
don't have time to dig but Ethiopia under Meles had tremendous development, yes still poor but ahead of every African country in terms what it accomplished last decade.Isias meanwhile turn to be stiff, unbending and dictatorial who refused to listen anyone otha than him.His self reliance didn't get off the ground when he could've managed in such small population.Remember he attacked some islands near yemen, jbouti, ethiopia and am not sure sudan few yrs after independence.Think full of ego...you would think after 30 long yrs of fighting he would be ahead of his time. -

Most eriterians fed up with Isias, its referred as the north korea of Africa. The country plunged into disaster after anotha, politically isolated, militarily defeated and economically in shambles....producing almost the biggest refuges in Africa now.Ethiopia on the otha hand shining star of Africa.....Led by 2 men fought along on the same side against the Derge but differ in their pursuit of greatness.Meles was really much ahead of that stiff Isias who definitely didn't bother to take note of earlier African dictators like the one he toppled. Eriteria will give in post Isias regime. -

But the basis are there just needs some tweaking and I hope that the message reaches all of them the same way it reached the people of Quraish 1400 years ago. We have differing views but don't try to instigate hatred out of people.... hahaaa making your idea go thru in anyway possible thru verbal gymanistics.....reread what you all been saying. how can anyone deal with you guys if not calling a spade a spade. Fine , official script in somalilands is Latin & there's no sharia law in any somalilands. You can talk one or both as you like. -

^^^ in Somalia the Somali script is the official one and nowhere seen any otha. The system of gov't is thru ballot box in Somaliland & parlemantary in Mogadishu...these implemented by masses in the country & not disporas...we both know that. -

Allyourbase;990293 wrote: Dude, wtf. . As to your point of us being 'a slave to the cadaan masters' merely by expression an agreement with the Latin choice then I suspect your motives are purely your love for being a slave to your Arab masters. Ha! For them everything Arab Is Islam, and they throw out the window different interests exist between Arabs or between Muslims. Case in point, the gulf states save guard their oil & many times come in line with Israeli interests, they against Husbulah,Iran etc.Egypt has diplomatic relations with Israel while still occupies Golan heights. You can't marry Gulf women when none national ,and that was not the case when were poorer before the oil. This Latin script suites us well and much easier than Arabic.99% of Somalis don't understand Arabic...unless you in khaleej. and if kids learn Arabic words early so too they learn Somali early. and why always the proponents of anything to do with arab or islam come across belligerent & downright nasty We are not arab neither latin.......taking advantage best of both worlds like everyone else. -

Somalia neva cease to amaze me! the Americans along with international community was there in 93 to feed & keep peace between thm. Then came the Ethiopians in 2006 invited by Mogadishu leaders, then came Amisom that protects almost every gov;t building, airport, seaport and escorts the president & gov't officials in & out. Then came Kenyans in kismayo area. The Ethiopians r still in parts of Somalia like Beledweyne,Baidabo area etc and cris cross at will. Now they making a shame bunch of Somalis getting together in Somali territory that's making great strides as of late which itself is a very positive environment. More than shame lies where it really belongs....Somalia.Its more embarrassing for someone biting the flag they keep calling for help,,,,Ethiopians. -
