1. Somalia are nuts, seriously some wrong with their perception of the world, that's why they been in senseless war for quarter century even with the help of so many foreign troops & cash.Somaliland also has become the defacto super power of Somali peninsula without even firing a shot...It has destroyed the Somalia psych. What all the senseless pro Mogadishu can do is cry river about Somaliland....bravados such as we coming, you will see wat happen to SL..jajajajajajajajaja NUTS.
2. How to deal with Somalia aka south is not to engage with thm,all they could come up with is a load of nonsense. The fact they been sustained by foreign forces for that long says it all. They can cry river about Somaliland all they want.Too defensive ,argumentative, nonesenical for anyone to carry meaningful debate with thm. boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boo boo boo.
3. ^^^ No it was the greatest misery engulfing Somalia at the time that brought Turkish prime minister to Mogadishu along with Turkish generosity. You didn't open no door, you were fed & helped. BE GRATEFUL.
4. The union of 1960 was a disaster for the Somali race.Once we took refuge in Kilinka 5aad, NFD and Jubouti the territories we were singing for to liberate then we lost all legitimacy to shoulder responsibility for the wider greater Somalia. What messed up the Somali dream is how the then North was shortchanged in 1960 and ultimately set for extermination,a case any southerner will vehemently deny and adding insult to injury claim the death toll was greatly exaggerated and that the north deserved what has befallen on thm ....classic case of blaming the victim and purposely.Surfing in the net has taught me southerners atleast most of thm has no clue or definitely in constant denial. What amazes me is how many still believe they can ova run SL once they get stronger disregarding how the strongest army forces at the time under Siyad Barre were annihilated in SL and to their weird conclusion(southerners) brag how all resistance started in middle Somalia when the great army was chewed up in the north and all was left is to kick the back door so the whole stinking system crumble down.Somaliland liberated all Somalia & Mogadishu would neva have risen without thm.The day they decided to go was when Ali Mahdi proclaimed the presidency without even calling the SNM which was certainly the biggest & strongest movement controlling the whole north and yet again adding insult to injury claimed on radio in his words,:::the war that has started in middle Somalia has come to Mogadishu & toppled Siyad Barre::: That was the straw that broke the camel's back , the last nail in the coffin and once again a testament that treachery is part of southern fabric...proven by time the last 24 yrs in which they put their house in inferno. I believe we can live apart peacefully side by side, trade, communicate, travel to each otha etc, just like Jubouti. The litmus test for Somali unity has miserably failed and there's no going back. The other 3 Somali speaking territories has moved on and in no mood to take the greatest risk and so are we. Words such as somalinimo, unity etc is seen in Somaliland as fake and disingenuous, the only vehicle southerners think can bite back and stop the momentum toward nationhood ....but to no avail.
5. @Wiil Cusub said: Tribal is the only way Somalis can analyse any case to make judgment. Dr Moa Supporters do you know that he is under special review in uk GMC The Somalia people don't care & don't think with logic. For thm an irrelevant incident whetha true or false will lead to destruction of Somaliland. Its indeed bad news and worth reporting that will lead to reunification of former Somalia if a bird with broken leg flies ova Hargeisa.
6. @Tallaabo said: I look forward to reading the anti-Somaliland part of this story. that's his gist. He want us believe that streets r sold, may be in Borama! Anyone who goes to major towns will see how many roads being built inside, apart from town to town, besides mayors r elected by voters since 2004. In terms of corruption, won't say it won't exist but this admin has done much in terms of development and most of the ministers are either highly educated or competent.Fact is its well liked by majority of populace and anyone who fair enough will tell you so.
7. Is this in response to Dr Macow except this one is balderdash.

9. Why they say there is gov't in Somalia? Can't reach kismayo,Baidao,Merca, mean all down south or up North to Puntland and nightly mortar shells in Mogadishu...so much so for gov't ! and that's with + 20,000 foreign troops & equal number of Somalis. Good for show.
10. He is not the only one.Continous ads come in your phone almost everyday about doctors coming as far away as from Russia, S.Africa,Kenya etc and charge hefty fees. They go to all major towns staying a wk or so.That literally translates to K 100s.Sad thing is no one knows if they r real doctors or how good. All led by Somalis.

Too much lies and bravados keep hit thm back in the face. They can't comprehend ultimately no one will believe or take thm serious even if they telling truth.Chronic lies is their worst enemy. Somaliland controls upto the border with PL and no soldiers were pulled back. They can play with old videos or make new ones..Just Puntland customary lies.....that's how all see it.
12. QUOTE>>>>((((Puntland also increased a military forces presence in Laas qorey with the motive of restricting any further visits of a delegation led by Somaliland President silaanyo cross into Puntland territories.))) Thats total lie, how his charges can be taken serious when he lies about Lasqoray.Abdiweli & PL hurt thmslvs with this.Western world know much more than himself and already aware his accusations are baseless. Since they can't match SL militarily they have to make use of their big mouth which I'm sure already made him the laughing stock of western intelligencies. Nothing more than a cry for help as they get used to involving 3rd parties for their sinister motives. He asked for Amisom when he went to Mogadishu as we even seen in this site, and when was denied he later said he neva asked for it. He then went to addis asking Ethiopians for their help regarding somaliland and again when Ethiopians told him to go away with such nonesense he embarked anotha trip to jbouti. All in all he looking for reason to get Amisom or any otha source primarily western worrld.
13. They did all that & still couldn't control the HAGS,these people work like bees at mischieve but because everything they build depends on treachery, ultimately they get destroyed by their lies. The Americans found the truth they get misled after 18 of thm were massacred. The Ethiopians too after heavy casualties, the Kenyans also & compelled Madoobe to make deal with Mogadishu(transfere Port & airport among otha things). Recently abdiwali went to Addis & pleaded with Ethiopians to help with getting Lascanod. The Ethiopians asked why he wanted that part of Somaliland in which he responded,'' because we same clan"".The Ethiopians furious asked him anotha question,'' so since you same clan with Jigjiga, then how you see it...we next, arn't we'' and then bla bla from abdiweli. He was told to never eva again come with such childish demands. Case of chicken come home to roast.
14. burahadeer Nomad 2,899 How long these puntites & CO will call foreign troops for help for their sinister goals. 1. in 2006 abdilahi Yusuf turned revenge to what was a bigger mission when Ethiopians came to Mogadishu.Ethiopia later found out his sinister plans against the HAG and get rid of him. 2. Same way with Americans in 1993 just to get rid off Aideed. 3.in 2012 they turned what was anotha bigger mission in Kismayo to their own advantage and helped Madoobe consolidate power using Kenyan forces. Now they using same tactics against Somaliland, YOU SEE THE TREND except that this time they gona chew more than they can swallow.

Having said that I do believe there were truce between the ruling Kulmiye and Al-shabaab in the early years when they came to power or some kind of connection in the early years. In 2008 when the debate about the postponing the election was engulfing Somaliland Al-shabaab took action and Bombed the UNDP office , the Ethiopian consular office in Hargeisa and the Presidential Palace Itself. More than 10 people including the secretary of the president died. Also few members of the Guurti and others were targeted with bombs. Since Kulniye took power there were no one single attack of bombs or even threats directed against Somaliland. Although after that initial bombing, no other attacks happen during Rayaales reign, but there were disruptions of plots and some arrests. I am not implying any tribal connotations , just stating the facts. Also there were a lot of Al-shabaab menmbers, who left Somaliland during the war between Ethiopian backed government and Maxakamadaha, who came back quietly in Hargeisa and joined the the public. So far no single al _shabaab member was arrested in Hargeisa. It is hard to explain, yet there are no clear indications of collusion between Somaliland and Al-shabaab at the moment. The anti somalilander who try walk the fine thin line!!!! Project himself as caring while throwing nonesenical stuff around and hope landers can't read between the lines....smarteeee

Mogadishu loves war break out between the 2 entities so they think xamar could be a winner and Burundians come up further north. In that scenario Mogadishu can claim we all occupied and extend its influence...so is the dream. 23. Kenyan parliament passes polygamy law Female politicians storm out after parliament passes law that allows men to to marry as many women as they want. Last updated: 21 Mar 2014 20:33 Kenya's parliament has passed a bill allowing men to marry as many women as they want, prompting a furious backlash from female politicians. The bill, which amended existing marriage legislation, was passed late on Thursday to formalise customary law about marrying more than one person. The proposed bill had initially given a wife the right to veto the husband's choice, but male members of parliament overcame party divisions to push through a text that dropped this clause, the AFP news agency reported. "When you marry an African woman, she must know the second one is on the way, and a third wife... this is Africa," MP Junet Mohammed told the house, according to Nairobi's Capital FM. As in many parts of Africa, polygamy is common among traditional communities in Kenya, as well as among the country's Muslim community, which accounts for up to a fifth of the population. "Any time a man comes home with a woman, that would be assumed to be a second or third wife," said Samuel Chepkong'a, chairman of the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee, the Daily Nation newspaper reported. "Under customary law, women or wives you have married do not need to be told when you're coming home with a second or third wife. Any lady you bring home is your wife," he added. Women storm out Female MPs stormed out of the late-night session in fury after a heated debate. "We know that men are afraid of women's tongues more than anything else," Soipan Tuya told fellow MPs, according to Capital FM. "But at the end of the day, if you are the man of the house, and you choose to bring on another party - and they may be two or three - I think it behoves you to be man enough to agree that your wife and family should know," she added. A clause in which a partner who had promised marriage but then backed out of the wedding could face financial damages was also dropped, as male MPs argued it could have been used to extort cash. They also argued that marriage should be based on love, and not have a financial cost placed upon it. Women are not allowed to marry more than one man in Kenya. The bill must now pass before the president to be signed before becoming law. Source: AFP
24. Newspaper apologises for showing Obamas as apes Belgian newspaper De Morgen sparks uproar over doctored photo.  16 Comments A Belgian newspaper apologised Monday following outcry over an image showing US President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama with their faces photoshopped to look like apes. The image was printed alongside another that implies President Obama sells marijuana. The images appeared in Flemish newspaper De Morgen's Saturday edition, in a satire section called "The Obama Herald". The paper joked that Russian President Vladimir Putin sent in the photos. The controversy comes ahead of an official visit by President Obama to Belgium. He is scheduled to arrive in Brussels Tuesday. The apology from De Morgen's editors came in an article entitled, "Is De Morgen Racist?". They called the image a "tasteless joke", explaining, "We wrongly assumed that racism is no longer accepted, and that in this way it could be the subject of a joke".
