Hello, I am currently researching the Egyptian Hakim rifle and am trying to uncover its history in Somalia. https://so.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xakiim_(qori). Does anyone who has lived in Somalia here recognize the rifle? If you have any family members who were in the military, do they recognize it? I know there are pictures of it from during the war and after, but I need more information. I am trying to figure out when they came into Somalia. Was it a long time before the war with Ethiopia, right before, or during the war? Perhaps all?
