History is made. Abdi Warsame wins Minneapolis City Council seat

So there is zero interest in this incident on here. If the shooter was a muslim, then all the nifaq would have come out and come down pouring with condemnation. Every twitter alim would have been tweeting about their condemnation.
-
Why would a one off incident spark the debate about niqab? Why should any muslim be concerned about it? Unless ofcourse, what the gaalo think influences where your allegiances are.

So a dude decided to shoot up the mall last night in jersey and did suicide. He was a suiciidde attacker. This news wasn't debated on the net and there weren't no widespread condemnations. Can you guess what the shooter's background was?

Yours sincerely, Somaliland Police Force Commander I don't believer that statement. Bbblease nagada wareer kaas! Plus, the whole farce is full of marqaans. So they can't write soberly at all.

Haatu;980382 wrote: Anyone who takes anything without proof is setting themselves up to fail. Taas shaki kuma jirto. Indulge me for a while ina adeer and explain what you mean by this. I am a plain Somali and big words give me a headache. The idea of having a proof for something to be true is a very modern and science based thinking. Deductive reasoning is very limited. You need Inductive reasoning to see patterns and confirm things. In hadith classification, a حديث can become stronger if there are other similiar hadiths that come to the same conclusion. For example, the hadith about having three daughters and two and one daughter. The conclusion being that raising one righteous child can be a ticket to heaven. (If I used a wrong example, then forgive me.) The deen is based on experiential knowledge. You can't understand anything without having endured and tasted. The Ahl al tasawuf are all about that.

^ Can we appropriately rapists people with a sexual interest too? Does anyone have a sexual interest? Leathers and whips anyone? lol Do you see my point? Using the word sexual interest instead of illness or criminal act, gives acknowledgement to pedos.

Saff, What was the name of Sheldon's girlfriend in the show? You remind me of her but you fit on the more green and liberal spectrum. I don't think that people fit on any one side of the fence. Most people are average and have a slight dominance of personality type over another.

As for these losers in uniform, they are useless. Anyone can bribe them with any amount of money or qaad.

What is the difference between "sexual interest" and "sexual orientation"? The latter has only been given a sociological definition meaning over time, it has become associated with a particularised definition void of the literal mean. Orientation and interest mean the same thing. The APA by giving this sickness the associated term of "sexual interest", are by and large - validiting such behaviors.

Read this article in the Guardian and you will realize "it is five to twelve" for marriage Why have young people in Japan stopped having sex? Japan's under-40s appear to be losing interest in conventional relationships. Millions aren't even dating, and increasing numbers can't be bothered with sex. For their government, "celibacy syndrome" is part of a looming national catastrophe. Japan already has one of the world's lowest birth rates. Its population of 126 million, which has been shrinking for the past decade, is projected to plunge a further one-third by 2060. Aoyama believes the country is experiencing "a flight from human intimacy" – and it's partly the government's fault. Something must be wrong with their sushi and sashimi. In the caadan world, every other caadani is turning into a hsexual. They don't see the long term ecological affects.

Mahiigaan;983909 wrote: Arguments about religions and politics never seize, and reason is that both of them are not fully understood. We never argue with sombody if he/she says that the sun rises from the east and sets in the west, because we know for sure. But we can argue the whole day about which cellphone is better: Samsung s4 galaxy or Apple iphone 5. The reason is simple: we hardly understand the intricate electronic components and their their functions in these phones!! Could you explain your analogy a bit more to us? I didn't come to a logical conclusion from reading what you wrote.

How do you invest the most precious moments in life?
Khayr replied to islam lover's topic in General
^ Common sense advice that we should not take so lightly. -
^ That is a topic that sufis and salafis love to argue about. Let us not talk about that. What Khadafi said is true. Guleed was really asking about the Salafi movement in Somalia. The no-jiihad and shirk watching Salafis. Salafi movement is really a secular movement because the Salafi God is only in books and the masjid.

There is this constant counter balancing of Allah's attributes المعز (The Honorer) v. المذل (The Dishonorer) المحيي (The Giver of Life ) v. الممىت (The Take of Life)...etc. The problem for all of us is taking one attribute of Allah and superseding that over everything else. The Hindus have precisely done that and that is why they have an idol/diety for every Divine attribute (creator, nourisher etc.). Another problem is the idea of saying that Allah is arbitrary in His Actions. That is very problematic and has taken many out of the deen. This idea that God is untouchable and can do what He wills. Stoic mentioned the idea of sinning and seeking forgiveness. Dare I say that the Sahaba were human and erred and sinned too. Hence, there high state of piety ةقو because they would always remember Allah. The female companion that committed adultery comes to mind because although she sinned and the rasul (علىه السلام) kept dismissing her case, she never the less chose the punishment (حدود) for fearing of ending up in Hell. A sign of piety on her part. The question really is - why does God will that we sin even after we have become believers?

Khourchide would be against تقلىد (following past scholars) and would want a renewed and reformed (ةجدىد ) quranic interpretation. ىعنى he wants want all the modernist thinkers want - an edited quran and religion.

You know its like the girls have each others backs on here. No matter how liberal one of you speaks on here, if you are refuted - hordes of SOL girls come running to the rescue. Are you girls blinded by gender biases? Anyways, Rahima is our elder on here!

Safferz;983410 wrote: Sources, citations, provide concrete examples and evidence to back up your nonsense. And again, what have you read from Khourchide and Abou El Fadl? Critique their work and deconstruct their arguments here for us, since you take issue with their work. Pinpoint what you take issue with in their writing, or you have nothing to say. You obviously have no idea how universities or the tenure system work. What are "the views" of the University of Munster (Khourchide) and UCLA (Abou El Fadl), the two institutions that have granted these two tenure? Neither of you have anything substantive or intelligent to contribute here, just baseless assumptions and ridicule, which shows how small your minds actually are. Do you know what UCLA did when they invited an Israeli Ambassador to their campus? They punished the students that had spoken out against the Ambassador and kicked them out (explosion). There is non-tolerance rule there for speaking out against Israel. Where does or did Abou El Fadl work at the time of this. You guess it right - UCLA. Again, every pompous that makes their living out of bashing Islam does not need to be engaged in discourse. The ayat of the quran comes to mind about the worst of sounds being that of a donkey. To my ears, that is the sound that they make.

Apophis;983377 wrote: In other words, one must think and do like you have been taught by the whites to qualify as an “intellectual"? You are quick to pretend your method is different but it's exactly the same as those you disagree with. You agree with the author because his views fit with yours, and khayr disagrees with him because it doesn't fit with his world view. Stop pretending it's anything else or that your method is “intellectual". It is called dishonesty. Most people are dishonest about their biases and real worldviews. It is disingenuous on her part and others to selectively quote authors that are in-line with her views. By the way, to attain tenure at any University - as a professor, you have to echo the views of that University. There is no way come high waters, that any professor (include Prof. Douchebag) would go against their employer. I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt until I clicked and read the link that Ibti provided. As for Abou El Fadl, he is known for his anti-islamic and pro-butt kissing views. I need not spend any time exposed to their diatribes.
