There are two faced people in Somalia that don't practice what they preach. While Abdiwali Gaas and his regime are calling for the end of the evil 4.5 clan-based political system in Somalia, in Puntland there is clan there is even a worse clan based system. Each leader that came was promising to change the Puntland system to a better representative government, with political parties. This promise is baseless and sweet talk.
When a leader expresses political dissident like Abdisamad maxamed Gallan, all of the sudden he is dambiile a bad guy. The nepotism that abdiwali Gaas is practising and how he appointed uneducated, repulsive individuals to posts in the Bari region is of no concern.
Sadly tribalism exists in Puntland, and the kind Gaas is practising is very toxic. Abdisamad Gallan is a leader that is loved in Bari for the good job he did while he was a governor, he has a right to visit muqdisho, those that link him to damjadiid are hypocrites, when Abdiwali Gaas and his team visit the president or any other puntlander for that matter they are not labeled damjadiid.
Bottom line Abdisamad Maxamed Gallan is being smeared as someone that cause trouble in Puntland, but the reality is he is more honest, capable leader with charisma so they plan to tarnish his reputation.
