INFACTUA.5AN...true say, i dont keep my feelings hidden, im str8 up, if im unhappy with the way u is behaving i would take u aside and show my concern. if u keep a bad feeling to urself, u will only end up messing up the relationship with the person and hating them! hey, i say wether they family, friends or guests, if they stay longer than 3days, they no-longer martii! ABDINUURE: since u are already organised it should not be hard for them to see were everything goes. just incase they missed it, and placed there shoes in the wrong room, dont pick it up, tell them were it should go-->point them in the right direction! COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS!

*May Allah Guide us to forever lasting prayers*-------------Amiiin opinionated dont think im hating, let me explain the way i took the brothers statement. walaalo, i dont know if u have ever seen or heard of somali's that have left Islaam, i.e. they are calling themselves gays, christians, no-faith? well, brother is making the point that once u start breaking the small rules of Islaam, it isnt going to take much to push u right out of the fold of Islaam. brother here is advising us to cling to our religion and to observe our prayers, copying the gaalo is not going to get us anywhere except in hell. and surely there was the Hadith that said, he who immitates a tribe(certain group of people) will become one of them, and on the day of judgement will be raised with that group. therefore if u love and immitate the Prophet(pbuh) u will be raised with him and will enter paradise, and if u immitate the kufaar, you will be raised amongst them and enter hell with them. Ul-ciyaadu-billah.....may Allah protect us from it!---Amiin

looooolzzzz my 1st time, i tried to make bariis, and, let just say it all went str8 for the bin, i mean the diigsii nearlly ended up there aswell. the rice looked like pancake-i added too much water, adn the heat was too high, so the digsii burnt. 2nd time, i made pasta, with beans and ketchap, i remember my uncle walked in with me and his 3 daughters eating our new invention, he through a tantrum, and told us how we could get food poisoning! the only thing im good at cooking is cakes, cookies and lassagne (however u spell it)ooh and roast potatoes. i can cook anything, as long i have the recipe and measurements. i cant, wont, and never will cook Laxoox/cajeelo!

YOU3,,,,,wlcm waalaalo, Alhamdulillah , im cool, hope u the same!

1-im bossy, i like to lead, yet a respect other opinions, and we could come to a solution. im a strong character and can stand my ground! I like to argue my point, but i admit when the other person has a more valid point.(i admit defeat). 2- .im laid back,i like humour, i love kaaftaan. but i have my limits and bounderies,no1 can cross my religion and family. and i hate tribilist fools! 3-i can take a lotta bull-shit from people, but once i make my mind up, im stubborn as hell, only my religion can change my mind. if even if i make-up with a person i learn my lesson and and dont attach my self to them, i keep my distance--'im here 4them if they need me, but i really dont need them' 4- im friendly, and approachable, and i nearly aalways have a grin on ma face. people find it easy to confide in me, and im great at giving unbiased advice. 5- im open minded, i dont just look at the black and white, i like to think that i see the grey in between aswell. 6-im an acamdemic person.im ambitious, and unstoppable, if i want something, i get it. (after praying hard to Allah(swt)) 7-im sensitive and prone to tears i care alot about peoples feelings, and i would never intentionally upset a person. i would go out my way to help others. 8- i dont give a sh**t, what people think of me, aslong as im happy and i aint doing anything forbidden in Islaam. 9- i hate perfection. i aint fussy, i eat, drink, sleep, wear, whatever is available!

Do you concentrate on the problem or do you concentrate on the solution ?
silent-sistah replied to Jaabir's topic in General
lolzzz Americans are slow, well, if i have a problem that i cant solve, i head for my bed! i sleep it over, and when i awake, i think more rationally! before my sleep, i think about the problem after i awake, i think about the solution! -
walahi u guys are jokes1 nice topic sister! best advice be yourself, if you have to change a part of your character, dress, or style to please a guy, he aint right 4u. worst advice ,,,,,came from jamaal " just cut a long chase short and be honest with him". sister , never tell a guy u like, love or wanna b with him, especially if he is somali. they will think that you are either easy or desperate. i grew up with guys, my best friends are guy, and they always be telling me how to act around guys so that i dont get mistaken for a cheap-gyal. trust me!

silent-sistah replied to silent-sistah's topic in General
OK, well, from the replies that im getting most people here agree with me, !!!guys cannot and should not be trusted!!!! first-lady ,,u wlcm sis. the-truth-shall-set-u-free,,,lol listen, men dont get married for kids. let me explain, when a somaliman, and a somli-women, get divorced, the man leaves and 99% of them 4get about their kids! walaahi, one of my uncles said to me when he broke up with his wife, " i dont love my kids like i used to, i dont feel the same way about them. when i got married, it was her i married, not the kids, the kids came after. if i aint with her, i cant be bothered with her kids" dont tell me guys get married for kids, they get married to have Halaal sex, when-ever they want it---coss it is their right! "Doqonbaa Katagga haduu duur cidla ah yaalo" ------sister, my somali is terrible, please ilaborate this statement for me(i actually love somali maah maah) -
There were several rounds of vigorous gunfire. Ever-body was on the floor in case a bullet entered through the wooden doors, or the already shattered windows. Voices could be heard from outside, but were muffled by the rumbling of gunshots. There was a sharp feminine scream. Suddenly, all was silent. Not a gun could be heard from out side. Sahro: Allah, that sounded like ,,,, (she scrambles to her feet and runs for the door, Jamaal bounces on her and she is held down) Jamal: shhhhhhhhhh, listen! It doesn’t matter who it sounds like, u go out there and you die aswell . Children: mummy, don’t leave us! ( they all come around her, hugging her and pulling to hold her back) Sahro: that scream, (she gasps), that sounded like Muna, my missing daughter. (she wipes a tear from her cheek and looks up.) Isii dayaa!, I have to go out and save her! (she tries to free herself, but Jamaal is too strong and he over powers her) Jamaal: listen, the morons are out there, we don’t know who is dead and who is alive. If u leave the doors of this house u risk your life, and it might not even be your daughter out there. Calm yourself down, calm the kids down, and lets wait for help to arrive. B]Caadil: [hoyoo, he is right, it might not be Muna.[/b] Moh’d: HasbunaAllahi wanicamal wakiin, ciyaal, move away from the doors and come sit here. When hard times come, you pray to Allah and he will protect u. Jamaal loosens his grip on Sahro and she and her children move and sit near Mohamed. The family is huddled in a corner of the room. Each person, deep in his own thought. Some praying to Allah, others wondering about what happened out side, and a few fantasising about the opposite sex in the room. Now there is total silence both inside and outside the house. It is so silent and every-body so still that you could here the heartbeats of each person in the house. Their hearts were beating at the same speed; the rhythm was fast, like the beating of drums in a freaky African dance. Except no one here was dancing.
