  1. LayZie G, I am sure that picture belongs to Loyaan, former TFG police commander, now TFG Ambasador in Tanzania. Somali sites including Hiiran online, are being ran by unproffesional webmaster, they just copy and paste each other without checking if the news is true or not. Balidoogle base was not a big deal to AY and TFG, there has been lately news that some commanders quit their position in the military. I don't believe that they can do big damage to the TFG since they don't command well organized, displined army forces, it is more like malitia leaders.
  2. Though Nur Ade is very honest guy who want to bring some sort of peace to this troubled land, it seems he is in his last legs in this Administration. Whatever he appoint will not go well AY and TFG parliament for their blessing,so it is a waste of time to appoint new position in a hurry. I wonder if the two eldest person in somali leaders can't agree and sit down to sort out their difference in a civil way, Somalia and its people are doomed again and international communities will not spent more time to reconsile these leaders again.
  3. Hassan6734 guy, If you hate TFG is one thing, but do not assume that we are little babies who believe whatever trash you posted here. The guy in the police uniform is former TFG police commander, not TFG Ambsador in Tanzania. We don't really care who resigns or stays TFG admin, but we are growing up and there are many other sources out there you can check the facts. So, next time post something closer to truth. If you are pro ICU/Shabaab(if they ever preach, I doubt it), they should teach you 101 class of do not lie or behave like real muslim.
  4. Wishing Puntland another 10 years of success, peace, good leadership and good development.

  6. wayraa Duke cayayaankan ma adigaa nagu soo daayay ninyahow ? That is how typical anarachist speaks. "Cayayaan" are the lost souls who don't know what is the rule of law and system of goverment are! they just keep argue for the sake of arguments. Cayayaan's mind set revolves anarchy and lack of system of goverment, they believe what their tribal chief commands, but not the comman sense and clear thinking. They loot, kill, mimick others when their chief tribal orders to do so. They celebrate when hundreds of civilians are killed, but they happen to kill one of their sworn enemy. Their vision sees one person killed, but not thousands of civilians perished. I have been silent reader for SOL almost five years and I know who stands for what and who doesn't stand for nothing-so do not think I just popped out somewhere. First of all, I was commenting the topic Duke started, not your nonsense response to Duke. Your whole arguments against TFG is based on AY and Duke supported AY. What is the big deal! You support groups and no one make it big deal of what you support.
  7. As far I understand here, Duke is the messanger, not a decision maker and he believes that rule of law should previal over anarchist laws, which is something to be commended and congraluted. AY is the head of the TFG and there are some powers comes with that title in order to uphold and to save gaurd TFG constitutions, so if its true others do not possess those kind of power to fire sitting mayor, but Presedent does, then he did what is right for nation and rule of law prevailed.
  8. Last I checked he was health and running his nation affairs from a dignified place (Villa Somalia), not filty westren public housing apartment and broken computer screen.
  9. This kind of curse is typical anarchist mentality. They think if AY passed away(which we don't have any control of it) southren Somalia will go back its glorious days when merciless malatia had check points every intersection and looting, killing, kidnapping minorities and others.Somalidu wax ku maahmaada dadka geeri u bariya qof kalo oo cado, wnimo ka dhexeeyso, waa qof diciif ah" so, don't be weak person who sits his house and curse his enemy, but what you should do is to go southren Somalia and fight bravely, kill triators, warlords and other criminals that you have beef with them, that will make you happy and make you followers(if you have any followers). Millions have perished last few years, when people wished he passed away or he is terminally ill and we see every day that he is doing extremly fine. Personely,I believe, if AY is out of the picture Somalia policts, another younger one will replace him and no one could predict how Somali misery changed. If you want peace and prosperity for your country, please pray for it. One person can't bring misery or peace to the nation. Though he is not crime free what had happened Somalia last 17 years, he is sick, I am praying to God to give speedy recover and help him attain peace and brotherhood in his home land.
  10. Somalia needs baby steps to take since we don't have resource to rebuild the whole city. Yes, I concer with Zoobe, Mogishu is slowly becoming city of all somalis. Touch kids who are being used by merciners some activities such sports events and schooling. When we have kids in schools or sport activities, then Mogidishu will be peaceful becuase those crazy insurgents don't know to fight, real fight without using teen agers backs.
  11. Illaah haw naxariisto. He was indeed great singer and had lot of patriotic songs such "Heegan aan ahadoo hogaanshow, waleey han weyn yahay horseedoow"
  12. Good Somali citizens are working hard to improve lives of Somali youth who are the vehicle of destruction used by warlords and others to kill and destroy beatiful cities of ours, but good concious somali herios are starting to reserve that destruction mentality to good one. Here are pictures of ceremony held to day to repair one of the old staduims in Mogadishu. I have to congratulate these real somalis who are trying to build somalia from bottom up. Hiiraan online
  13. That city is not Garowe for sure. You guys are the ones supposed to make somali cities dusty free, but you contribute nothing, but bad mouthing other cities. Whether they have dusty or green lawns, they are very happy thier nice, clean and unpolluted lands. I know, for sure, Hargeysa, Mogadishu, Kismayo are all dusty cities with big houses. So, all somali cities are dameer iyo labadiisa dhegood, but we should be the ones who should fix our dusty enclaves. We send money to kill inocent people, but not money to fix dusty roads.
  14. There is no anti-Somaliland wish list, but there is Anti-sessionist wish list.
  15. Nabad baad naaso lugu nuugo leh. Good gathering for peace and stability.
  16. Nice report. Soon to see Somalia moving forward with good functioning state structure and rule of law. It doesn,t happen overnight, but it takes leadership and determination.Things are looking way better than three years ago when warlord malitia were manning checkpoints every intersection and there were no mayor and leadership to speak of in Mogadishu. Now, we have different sitaution even thought it appears slow moving process. However, Somalia needs to move slowly to overcome a lot of bad behaviour inherited anarachy and lawlessness. What somalis lacks is greater good sacrifice. In order somalis to attain respectable goverment, somalis needs to give peace a chance and let leaders lead the country.
  17. Jb, That is exactly how he did it. As soon as I try to stand up, he asked me if he can have the left over. This is how very concious people should behave when it comes to wasting food when others are in need, I like reer Burco, very nice and decent people.
  18. Nope.. I didn't asked to pay since I was little scary chicken in the town. It was in the middle of civil war between different groups.
  19. ^ Even though there are may be some truth into this incident,do not take it serious on this outlet, they live their own planet to fabricate bad news.
  20. No, the fellow sitting next table to you will wait and ask you if you are unable to finish up the food. If you say I am done, he will pull the plate over to his table and take care of it. It may not be cross the board habit, but that is what I encountered while I was transit in Burco.
  21. This changed my impression about Xamar. I always thought Xamar is no go city, but it looks like ordinary people do their things and people gather such events without worrying about Al-shabab throwing their hand grenades. somaliweyn
  22. This is few days old, but I thought some of you may interested this news. Puntland Goverment website
  23. yes, more than 20 cars, communication equipments and police uniforms. This is indeed new dawn for co-operation between Puntland goverment and business people. After all, without security there will be no business to take care of. Two thumps up for this initiative.
