US considering air strikes against ISIS. What did we tell you?
CidanSultan replied to Holac's topic in Politics
What's the point: somali clan politics is poison, tit for tat nonsense. Tribal chauvinism. With people who in most cases don't know what they are talking about. Websites not letting post anything: strange. Galbeedi your assumption has been debunked: http://edward-snowden.net Nothing on Simon Elliot or Baghdadi on Snowdens official documents -
This is Edward Snowdens Official Website: http://edward-snowden.net This houses all his data and when you search Simon Elliot or Baghdadi do you know what you find....? Nothing

1 Eid picture of the market close to Eid, one private company building and one corner of mugdisho doesn't amount to peace. The same thing can be found anywhere in the world. In Afghanistan, Iraq even in Syria with all the damage. These superficial things is what Somalis use to prove a point. You have not answered any of the questions posed. You avoided it and use snippets of picture to prove your argument. Somalia is under occupation. The govenement has no real control over anything. Like I sai the entire country has been divided into corners occupied by naibors who have no real interest in seeing a stable Somalia. Stability is none existent even in mugdisho. Were so called mps get shot weekly, were violence is the norm. Were there is no real presence of a govenement other then a few building with au protection. No judiciary, no courts, no institutions, no credible police force no real army. As Iraq, Syria and Libya and yemen become more unstable the west in particular the Americans will wash their hands of Somalia. Nothin tangible is coming out of this place for a long time to come

This entire issue is about the presence of African mercaneries on somali soil. That's why you still won't condemn them because your entire existence depends on them. What self respecting somali would welcome, host and call brothers mercaneries that don't care about your stability but in fact live of your misery. Malister what rise ???? Are you that deluded what rise are you referring to? Didn't Vila Somalia just get attacked the other day ? Your "millions"of bandits can not secure mugdisho let alone anywhere else. Ethiopia in bay and bakool, Kenya in the south, Djiboti in hirran, Uganda and Burundi in mugdisho and its locality.... Were do your bandits control??? You need to stop lieing to yourselves. You need to accept the fact that this govenement is a failure. The bandits are failures and the entire stricture is a failure. Somalia is more divided today then 5 years ago... All foreign soldiers must leave Somalia. Somalis do not want them or need them. Islamic law should be Implemented across the country and a tribal national conference should be organised followed by the transfer of blood money between all rival tribes. Get your head out of the sand malister. It's easy for us all to see through your delusion.

Obama " United States ready to use limited strikes around Erbil"
CidanSultan replied to CidanSultan's topic in Politics
The real question is why the double standard. Why is the United States willing to assist some people and yet ignore the suffering of millions of people? Syria death toll 170,000 killed by Assad forces, barrel bombs, crimes against humanity, chemical weapons on civilians. And yet nothing. Yazidis, Christiens, PKK etc. "We must help against genocide" While we restock israeli munitions To kill babies we are also the champions of liberty and the fight against genocide. This is madness. The United States doesn't care about Kurds. -

Kurds are a good a people. They have been victims of saddam Hussein the secular atheist. They have been victims of discrimination by pan Arabist secularist Baathist. The Kurds are not the enemy. The PKK are different. Remember talabo the Islamic state did not attack Kurdistan. It was the PKK that attacked IS positions near Mosul. So if attacked do you not have the right to defend yourselfs. All the war journals are saying this is a defensive battle not a offensive war. The IS wants to limit PKK capability by making them focus on Erbil and thus shrinking their ability to make future strikes. This morning was reading some war journal articles and twitter regarding the situation the IS is not interested in taking Erbil. The Islamic state did not attack Kurds. The Islamic state has no ethnocentric objectives from what I have read. The Islamic state has Kurdish regiments amongst it. The PKK attacked and then once they were attacked they were pushed back and then out and then they started crying... When you have a pro Zionist, communist secularists at your door and they attack you and house CIA bases.... What do you do? You divide their positions take most of the land and let them fight a defensive war In Erbil to tame them and neutralize te threat. This effectively makes the US drone strikes around Erbil a waste of time. The IS objective has already been met. That's exactly what has been done. Not according to me but all the western war journals. -
BY NANCY A. YOUSSEF, MCCLATCHY WASHINGTON BUREAU August 7, 2014 | Updated 3 hours ago SHARE Story Comments WASHINGTON — The Islamic State’s push toward the Kurdish city of Irbil on Thursday came as unwelcome news to those who’d believed that the Kurdish peshmerga militia would be the force most capable of halting the militant Islamists’ momentum. The United States had such confidence in the Kurds that, in June, it moved its Joint Operation Center and some embassy staff to Irbil, where roughly 40 U.S. military advisers are now stationed. Until this week, life in Irbil has been relatively normal despite the Islamic State offensive, which began with the fall of Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city, in early June. Everyone assumed that the Islamic State was shying away from confronting the peshmerga, with its substantial reputation as a fighting force. But then the Islamic State moved against cities last week that were defended by the peshmerga, and the peshmerga retreated. On Thursday, the Islamic State captured at least four towns on the highway to Irbil and defeated peshmerga forces attempting to break its siege of the Mosul Dam. A near panic took hold in the Kurdish capital as militia forces rushed to set up a defensive line at Kalak, 25 miles northwest of Irbil. It was another victory for the Islamic State, which before the peshmerga had defeated Syrian forces throughout much of eastern Syria, including recent seizures of major Syrian bases in Raqqa and Deir el Zour, and had sent Iraqi army forces fleeing almost to the gates of Baghdad. What has made the Islamic State forces seemingly unstoppable? Observers on the ground and analysts in Washington believe that the latest push was possible because the peshmerga forces are stretched trying to defend a frontier with the Islamic State that is nearly 900 miles long. The Islamic State is also better equipped, with U.S.-supplied weapons that its forces have looted from every Iraqi military based it has seized. It also has recently captured major Syrian arsenals. On Twitter, the Islamic State often posts photos of its bounty from military bases, which include rocket-propelled-grenade launchers, artillery and weapons that are far more sophisticated than those in the peshmerga arsenal. The Islamic State also has the advantage of momentum. According to the Long Wars Journal, citing a tweet by the Islamic State, its forces have taken control of 17 communities in the area around Mosul. Its push stretches all the way to Diyala province in northeast Iraq, which borders Iran. On Thursday, the Islamic State claimed to control the Mosul Dam, the largest water supply source in Iraq _ a claim U.S. and Iraqi sources confirmed. And perhaps most importantly, the Islamic State has very simply put together a smarter offensive plan. Its push toward Irbil is believed by many not to be a move to take that city but to force the peshmerga to defend its capital, allowing the Islamic State to harden its grip on places nearby it’s more interesting in holding. “No one is doing what ISIS is doing,” said Jessica Lewis, a research director at the Washington-based Institute for the Study of War, using an acronym for the Islamic State derived from its previous name, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria. “ISIS thins out and strategically targets their adversaries. They are more thoughtful about their offense.” In Sunni-dominated Iraqi cities like Mosul and Fallujah, the Islamic State successfully co-opted or intimidated residents, allowing its forces to move in and take over. In Kurdish-defended areas, it’s forced the peshmerga to defend multiple locations along the lengthy frontier. The Kurds have made no secret of their limitations. They have repeatedly asked the United States for help. Many analysts believe that the Islamic State’s current push in northern Iraq, seizing cities such as Sinjar and Bartella that lie east of Mosul, is intended to create a buffer between the Kurdish region and the self-declared Islamic caliphate. For the Islamic State, cities like Sinjar potentially form the outer border of a contiguous state. “They are trying to carve out the territorial integrity of their Islamic State,” Lewis said. Against this backdrop, Kurdish Regional Government President Masoud Barzani reportedly issued a statement this week, condemning the Islamic State for attacking Christians, thousands of whom fled to the Kurdish region. Lewis said there was another reason to doubt that the Islamic State wants to seize Irbil. Unlike Mosul, where the Islamic State had operated for years and had built a support network, Irbil is a Kurdish city of 1.5 million people committed to keeping the Islamic State out. Moreover, Irbil does not border the proposed Islamic caliphate. Rather, Lewis believes the Islamic State wants to lock peshmerga forces into defending the capital, which would leave other places that it seeks to control vulnerable. It allows the Islamic State to decide the terms of battle _ something it has been able to do since early June. “ISIS is maintaining the initiative,” she said. Ahh the terroist card when you can't answer legitimate questions somaha.... Never supported alshabab ever....but I know for a fact they are 10 times better then your bandits. The AU captures towns for you and like a lap dog they say come here with the photographers then the somali flags come out hahaha... The reality is you can't liberate a village by yourselves. And your bandits come with their checkpoints of theft, rape and steal from locals primarily food products and mobile phones. But you accuse me of being a terrorist do you know why because you know I'm right. Let AU leave and we will see how effective your bandits are. Call for the removal if you are so confident if not Malister keep your mouth closed.

The United States does not see this as genocide because they are Sunni Muslims. But a few light worshipping yazidis on top of a hill and some christiens....it must be genocide. Double standards.... The United States the biggest seller of ammo to israel....talks about genocide ???. -

The strategy to protect baghdad and Erbil is militarily flawed. Every person can see its not practical. If the islamic state continue to charge into Erbil their convoys are us made weapons the same if not similar as the Kurdish PKK communists. Therefore how can they distinguish between friend and foe.? Impossible. What would the US do if they came inside.... These two cities....bomb the cities...?? America has been tamed. America is not as stupid as it once was even though its a hypocrite nation. -
The United States to secure Erbil and Baghdad from being taken over is ready to use limited air strikes to ensure the islamic state does not take it over.... What a wonderful nation the Zionist owned and abused United States is.....they want to help the yazidi people because they are having genocide committed against them.... What a humanitarian superpower the United States thank you so much for all your efforts Good Samaritan of the world.... Can you now do the same for israel and Assad who have actually killed more people then all the yazidis and Christians Iraq put together.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfnHUauOT4o

Malister wake up already... Your pictures mean nothing. The au fight alshabab not your bandits. The au pushed them out of a few villages not your bandits. If your so confident you have the balls to fight alshabab then why do you need the au? Ask them to leave. It seems whatever City the au takes your bandits come in for a photo op and say they did it with the help of au. The au have said themselves they don't take your bandits seriously and they wouldn't survive a day without them. After the city is taken by the au your bandits come in and rob the local population and kill them which then drives them back into the arms of alshabab.... Ask the au to leave if I'm wrong ...let's see what your made of

Humanitarian airdrops have started which is good. The people who fled because of media and fear will have access to supplies. Another thing the Turks won't allow the Kurds any weapons. The United States pentagon has also said all weapons for the Kurds will be channeled through the Iraqi government. They have also confirmed that all American special forces will be removed from Erbil including iraqs largest CIA base. This is a tricky conundrum for the United States. Turkey is weary of American support for The PKK. Confirmed as we'll not one American soldier will be out on the ground. This entire situation is a mine field for the United States. -

Almonitor: Syrian Alawites Horrified At Their Death Toll..
CidanSultan replied to CidanSultan's topic in Politics
Then the alawite enclave will probably be flattened with mortars and Iraqi humvees and captured tanks and what survives will ask israel for asylum or be pushed into the sea. The venom the rebels have for alawites is worse then the one a Palestinian has for an isrseli I'm sure once Assad can no longer defend Damascus not one alawite will remain in Syria most likely they will run into Lebanon or turkey's Antakya. -

America is not God. Why don't they bomb Assad who is killing Sunnis in mass... The second they hear Christien they come...hahahahah.... The state department was saying Iraq can only be helped politically the Kurds are crying because the islamic state is literally now tonight on the outskirts of Erbil. They have no weapons. the PKK communists who scream daily we love the United States, secularism and israel needs help its existence is under threat. The United States let's Sunni women and children die and yet bombs or threatens to bomb the islamic state look at that double standard. the United States is not God...trillions more dollars, thousands more Americans will die and be spent. What a waste PKK baaaaaacaaaaaac....communists -
Do you guys think they blow up the body of prophets or any dead person for that matter They blow up what is on top I.e the shrine not the body of anyone. Grave worship is xaram. In regards to the rest we will see we will find out as the dust settles. Mark my words you will see Christiens living in raqqa and Mosul and other areas as soon as the dust settles. No christen has been prevented from worship. They are scared of war so they leave, the like many of you Ethier don't know or assume these people are Terorist so they naturally get scared. They will pay jizya and live peacefully.

Almonitor: Syrian Alawites Horrified At Their Death Toll..
CidanSultan replied to CidanSultan's topic in Politics
The official figures say around 70,000 alawites dead the total death toll in Syria is 170,000 so far. The alawite villages are emptying out of people they are saying the unofficial alawite death toll is around 90,000 and the portion dodging the military draft is huge. They have informally accepted that most of syria is not in their hands. As the war continues more of them will die and eventually syria will fall -
