Time tested remedy for these type of laziness is getting involved in a great cause, valuable project, or other sorts of rewarding activities. Socialize with like-minded folks. If you don't have good ones then time to widen your circle of friends -- not like facebook types. I am talking about local ones. Where is your hubby? No hubby yet time to seriousely start the vetting process. The process in itself is time consuming and exciting... Qallanjo nagu soo war celi dee bal in xaal is beddelo

Northerner awoowe waan soo socdaa. No written offer yet but I have got the call. This time it will be four solid years if I can survive in office poiltics. I really don't know how you put up with the uncertainty and job insecurity in the UAE employment market. Tough thing to do I tell ya.

Abtigiis is still at it. Good going. Spoilers could detract little from so solid an argument So far well written air-tight argument with no serious leak. Oodweyne had he seen this thunder would have at least attempted to mount a defence. An other serious write-up (the only fumble I've noticed is the jew reference).

Good read. Recent and relevent post. Articles like this adds value to the site. Two thumps up for Liqaye's contribution. Source: http://www.thenation.com/article/163210/blowback-somalia by Jeremy Scahill.

Good ole Kismayo. What a disgrace! I am disappointed in my people. How backward, ignorant, and at times ****** are my nomads. Kismayo has the capacity and resources to accommodate millions.

Is Abtigiis trying to re-litigate this argument anew? Why now? We had our fill for this canard ages ago. Puntlanders have also been called names to that effect -- (nothing wrong with the jews as they are resilient folks who know one or two about survival) and some even went on to pen poems to that effect -- read Bacadle’s famous poem. If you must re-litigate and revisit secession argument stick to the gist of the argument. There is a simple and powerful case against dismembering Somalia on the basis of now defunct colonial exploitation Somalis were subjected to by powerful foreign states bent to dominate indigenous folks everywhere.

KK dhuubo I had you in mind when I posted the iphone here in General section way back 2007 when it debuted. I swear when I went back to Iceland all my coworkers wanna have a look at my lil shiny gadget. There was this German subcontractor -- a nerd like me -- sent to do a cold commossioning on one of the equipment we designed and installed who kept asking me when would I be having dinner at the canteen so he can get another chance to play the thing. That was way back July 2007 -- a century ago it seems. Buyers remorse -- any1?

It's their loss qallanjo. Aight if you haven't noticed by know the article is an op-ed. The author is a writer trying to market is work. Thankful, There is no such thing as Al Shabab in Galkacyo -- at least in the context of this event. What happened in Galkacyo was unfortuante event and should never happen again. Al hamduLilaah elders are knee deep in resolving the misunderstanding. Hope they succeed in their task of adjudicating btw querraling sides. Faroole failed. His security personnel -- trigger happy -- traspassed their boundaries. They acted as if they are the judge, jury, and executioner. No-go in clan-based society. It appeared as if they are in charge of every decision made, and they have the power to detain or kill whomever they choose.

"Nin gablamey, Nin good qaadey(yixaas), Nimuu gaan kala gowraarshey, Nimuu libaax gowracey, waxaa ka daran nimuu guurku ka hallaabey." Nuune awoowe waa taa xikmada aan u hamuumanahay. Boowe soo raaci murtida kale iyo cilmi dhegoodka aad hayso.

And what's your point if I may ask? Too many clans, too few, or the fact there are clans is something to be frowned upon?

Yes I know ugliness is hardly a disability. In this progressive society the Inna Abdille Hassan's adage "Godobteydu waa jidhaa goonyahoo idile, Annigu waxaan goosan karo waa gurbsanayaa e." is an article of faith. The good prof is viewing this issue from discrimination point of view. If you are "ugly" you wouldn't make it to the final cut of let say TV anchor hopefuls. So why not fight the good fight in order to secure a right to sue any1 who denies you employement not becuase you are not competent but because you are ugly or fat or thin or what have you

Obama admin donated meager US$ 90 million according to a lady (reping some NGO) interviewed by CNN's Anderson on September 6th. UK donated US$86 mil and France donated US$6 mil. We thank them for the donations. But really! Biggest economies in the world in their infinite wisdom adopted a policy of denying aid to starving population because admins in charge think that they may inadversely strength an isurgency they trying to defeat. How cruel!

Chubaka, Don't ask me why but I somehow experience buyers remorse everytime I purchase something. I always find something better especially gadgets. We bought a brand new car a month and half ago and I found some of the competition brands have better features in some areas.

Hambalyo iyo Bogaadin. Unsolicited advice: Wait two years before you bring kids to this world. By then you will get to know her very well. Guur xumaada waa masiibo gaar ahaan marka caruur la isu dhalo. Make it work brother.

Ciid Mubaarak Northerner. I take you are still milking Dubai and what it has to offer. First let me correct you. What happen in NY that day was a tragedy. Not callaacal! Whether justified or not is a different ball game. Folks still are grabbling with its far reaching ramifications. Hawks, xenophobes, racists, hate and other interest groups with sinister motives made their business to exploit emotions that momentous day evokes in order to deny Muslim participation in American civic live. There is a well researched article in Mother Jones and Nation newspapers called Fear Inc. by American Progress think tank. The article has received a lot of publicity lately. Where were you? I was in Eden Prairie, MN getting ready to go to the Borders (starbucks coffee/barnes and nobles bookstore equivalent) -- a nearby coffee shop. I got a phone call from a hiring manager in high tech company informing me that the scheduled interview that I was supposed to have with him is cancelled. That interview would have been my third and final interview. Ku gal. I had to wait eight months (a year after graduation) to secure another professional job. Is the world a better place as a result of that event? No. Countless lives have been lost because of it. Who did it? All indications point to Osama and his base group.

"Pirates from Somalia made international news with the capture of an American cargo ship in 2009 in eastern African waters and later the murder of four retirees sailing around the world. Mr. Bahadur discloses who some of these men are and why they say they became pirates. He discusses his exclusive time in their inner circle with former New York Times foreign correspondent and editor Clifford May, who now heads the Foundation for Defense of Democracies." He reveals some facts ouch! http://www.booktv.org/Program/12740/After+Words+Jay+Bahadur+The+Pirates+of+Somalia+Inside+Their+Hidden+World+hosted+by+Clifford+May+Foundation+for+Defense+of+Democracies.aspx

My man Mark Fiora pulls a timely satire on the black president who kept his distance -- ignoring Somalia. Something ain't right. Remember "We are the World" and how A list celebrities in Hollywood put the situation in Ethiopia on the spotlight! Remember the pivotal role politicians in the West played at the national level (not NGOs) back then. Remember the great length White House (in transition at the time) went to underscore the benevolent role the sole super power will play in the unipolar world order. Forward the clock and take a stock how the dire situation in Somalia is treated. The concern at the Potomac river is one of national security. Terrorism colors all the goings in Somalia. Obama -- all he is good at is sending cruise missiles at Somalia direction! We are displeased with you Mr. Obama. http://www.markfiore.com/political-cartoons/watch-somalia-famine-al-shabab-obama-un-hunger-relief-animated-video-mark-fiore-animation
