Notice how the lander leadership of the dervish are all dead but the rest surrenderd the night before according to the British: dervish banu nahay sheko is finished. "It was now apparent that all the remnants of the Dervish force from the Medishe and Jidali area were converging on Taleex; and the tribal leaders, although they had no proof, were convinced that the Mullah was in the fortress. A large party of Dervishes escorting the Mullah's main caravan had been successfully engaged by the Tribal Levy while trying to make their way into Taleex. During the fight many notorious Dervishes had been killed, 274 THE MAD MULLAH OF SOMALILAND including Haji Sudi, the ex-naval interpreter, and Ibrahim Boghol, the commander of the Mullah's forces in the northern area. The captures comprised many of the Mullah's personal belongings, his correspondence, his clothing and jewellery and, in addition, 1,400 camels, 450 cows, 50 ponies, 51 rifles, 2,000 rounds of ammunition, and 300 camel loads of supplies. The Camel Corps had joined Gibb on the road to Gaolo which they reached together on the evening of the 8th February. On the following morning the Mullah's second son Abdurrahman Jahid, a feckless youth, and his uncle, Haji Osman, who had deserted the haroun overnight were brought into the Camel Corps zariba. They stated that the Mullah was in Taleex but would have left the previous evening, had it not been for the presence of 200 men of the Tribal Levy who were in the vicinity watching developments. They were confident that the Mullah would leave that night. Acting on this information, which might or might not be trustworthy, Ismay and Gibb decided to make a demonstration round Taleex that evening".

"In 1910 , in the British House of common , the goverment soothingly stated that the power of the Mad Mullah was now completely broken. But in 1911 , Mahammed Abdille Hassan attacked the La canod folk , took their stoclks , and moved again into the pasture land of the Nogal Vally. Tales reached the British in Berbera that the Sayyid was becoming more ruthless with the disenting tribes that he was mutilating prisoners." page 43 Heart Of A Stranger Kacaan historians argue the las canod folk first supported the movement, they were the movement and ismael mirre was the top general and was brave etc. this is the only reason why they say even today dervish banu nahay somali ban USO halganay and Sado Cali and Cali Galayd still run around arguing this in the 21st century. the above shows the House of Commons debate on the true reality: so how did they do it: make others look brave while being victims. Aw Jaamac known full well pointing out those above facts will spoil his narrative of the "brave" Las canod folk "warriors" that fended off the camel police in that historical day and managed to keep the loot. So this how Aw Jaamac did it , instead of saying the Las canod folk were attacked and were looted by Dervish he put it this way " Daraawiish oo geel iyo xoolo ka soo qaaday beel ka mid ahayd beelaa Burco ka dhow", and then he proceded to say " beeshii geela laga qaaday iyo ciidankiiI Ingiriis baa isku helay hoosada buurta Dul-madoobe".. One gets the impression hearing the word "beelaa burco ka dhow" that they were Landers and that was Aw Jaamac's intention , it was a clever lie , if he was caught he would say well the Las canod folk too live close to Burco?? so it was taken by his d block as though the camles and the people who were attacked were Ianders. No shame Walahi......now that is what I call hate. A hate which derives from many different factors I don't want to mention to hide what shame is left in them plus its Ramadan

Mintid Farayar;969188 wrote: Garoodi presented quite a number of first-hand accounts of the discussed events written by the British fighting the Darwiish. Instead of attacking the man, does anyone have a different narrative to buttress the 'Kacaan' version of events? If not, then sit back and let him 'take you to school'. His motivations are between 'isaga iyo Allah'! Advice to Garoodi: Stay away from the broad lumping of all members of a clan together. The 'Kacaan' had its tribal agenda but many of the same lineage were innocent bystanders who neither benefited nor participated in that sad history. Many hold on to the myths of the Kacaan (that you've effectively exposed here) as a coping mechanism for the debacle that has befallen them post 1991. Point taken: even I am human. This is not about tribe what angers me is the fake narrative of history still used for tribal bravado. I understand that tribes are tribes they contain sick people like idaja and aw Jamac and good people as well who didn't ask for this fabrication. The kacaan narrative is built on ismael mirre... So to prove my historical records are wrong one needs to show a source of ismael mirre in British intelligence papers that's the simple logic. If they claim ismael mirre killed corfield, ismael mirre chopped off his hand etc then show us even his name in the British intelligence papers simple. The truth is idaja and aw Jamac are criminals: when you kill a man its only one man but when I fake history I intend to kill a people. That's the logic they used. Thy should be arrested. Even the narrative used today amongst Somalis is this narrative so it must be corrected. Even Ali Galayd walks around Nairobi saying " somali ana USO halganay" in reference to the dervishes. The reality is ismail mirre was 14 years old and a stable boy and if history was faked then it should not be used

LOL According to the British they could not care for the interior of SOMALILAND all they were interested in was the coast and for that they signed protection treaties to use the coast so no other foreign power would. When it comes to why did they come into the interior. The dervishes created problems for the people of the interior which subsequently had an effect on the coast and tr British felt obliged to assist to keep order. This was a time foreign powers were expanding and they would do whatever it took. Even the British argue they were in SOMALILAND for the coast and Hilib that's it really.

You would be surprised even among Somalilanders how many people take the propaganda that passed for 'history' during the Siad Barre era as fact. People actually have to do alot of digging to realize what they 'heard' is innacurate if not outright lies. Historical Books British literature to even Arabic Literature Lets look back what we have discussed so far we have discussed the Formation of the dervish movement the generals the political leadership the first 4 raids the the rescue lascanod folk stock in 1913 the year of the airplanes. We also discussed the Colonial troops or the Somaliland camel corps as how it was later called. The clans that were part of the colonial police force.. Now what is there to refute the books but Aw jamac and idaadja used Col swaynes book 17 trips through Somaliland as their own source. Some of the books used and they are there they are not secret books British Somaliland Ralph Evelyn Drake-Brockman - Seventeen trips through Somaliland and a visit to Abyssinia: with supplementary preface on the 'Mad Mullah' risings Harald George Carlos Swayne R. Ward, Limited, 1903 - 385 The Mad Mullah of Somaliland By dauglas jardine Richard Corfield of Somaliland Henry Francis Prevost Battersby By E. Arnold, 1914 - 259 Official history of the operations in Somaliland, 1901-04, Volume 1 Printed for H. M. Stationery office by Harrison and sons, 1907 These are the main books about the dervish history I didn't write them they were written either in the begin 20th century or the late 19 century i was not alive a that time and these English guys wouldn't write these books to annoy d block or las canld folk why would they. the Europeans don't really care about the Somali tribal society they wrote what they saw. The revisionism is a process in the 30s and 40s the Lascanod folk hated even to be associated with the dervishes the very thought made them vomit but it was a humuliation because they were the only clan that was subjugated by the Mullah by force and they couldn't get any freedom their Garad was killed by a minority group that was an unhonorable execution the mullah carried out in his name but he didn't take the honor to kill the gerad he let a minority group do it.

Your lot faked history and that shows true hate not me by highlighting I am showing history for what it is. Walahi I could not care less. The dervishes were the Alshabab of there day they killed more Somalis then the British, French, Italians and Ethiopians (pre independence) combined. They are nothing to be proud about yet again I'm not standing outside screaming "dervish bani nahay ismael mirre ba qorti ka goyay korfield". And i don't chew Walahi it tastes nasty tried some back home on holiday not my cup of tea.

Not one of the commanders who are non d block are mentioned by idaja and aw Jamac yet they are the lead characters in ever report the British compiled and you talk to me about a merfish. Instead they invent a stable boy named ismael mirre no one ever heard of him and he is the lead character in the history of the dervish. The reason why MOD dont care is because any person will tell you this is the case

This a list of most famous lander Dervish, all of them were more famous in the eyes of the British then the like of Ismaaciil Mire which the kacaan made 90% of his myth. 1- Cabdulaahi Shixiri (left the movement in 1907) 2- Xaaji Suudi ( killed in Taleex feb 5th 1920) 3- Diiriye Caraale ( killed in Ilig during the Canjeel coup) 4- Diiriye Guure ( among the first who joined the movement, end unkown) 5- Ducaale Caadle ( once tried to marry the Mullah's mother, but her lover Dhala Mudhe the West burco, won the affair) 6- Maxamed Habar-Waa 7- Xaaji Cusmaan ( was married to Buteeya Xasan Nuur the Mullah's aunt, lost four of his sons at Jidbaale , buried in Taleex ) 8- Xaaji Axmed Xasan ( was among the Khuususi at Ilig around 1909) 9- Ibraahim Buqul ( commander of most of the north killed in Taleec 1920) 10- Qeybdiid Shabeele. ( the brother of Suudi , was married to the Mullah's sister , killed at Fardhidin along 2 of his sons , Cawd and Cali, later Faarax and Cabdulaahi Qeydbiid were killed in Cagaarweyne, only surviving son Macallin Jaamac Qeybdiid become a religious teacher later at Taleex and survived the Dervish destruction). Whats important to know is all these guys had higher rank and history in the movement more then any d block folk while these guys fought in all the majore battles from 1899-1904 , all the later Las canod folk which were made famous by Aw Jaamac and the Kacaaan never fought in any of the battles only looted somali clans from 1906-1921., Kacaan history for you. These are the sort of people we are dealing with

Your great sayid thanked the British general for looking after the people and signed protection treaty with the italian. He ran away from the battle of taleex and left his own family behind. The lander Sultan Nuur had said no from day one as recorded by the British and died fighting. My God and you critise the British. Critise the greatest fabricators in somali history paid for by the kacaan using the tax dollars of the somali people to create a superman myth that we have not seen even till this day. This also explains why they hiding behind Kenyan tanks and bringing Ethiopians into mugdisho and how they destroyed the somali state. The irony is the kacaan history glorified for tribalist reasons the very men who murdered thousands of their own people leading thousands to run to feeding centres in Berbera and burco, canabalism and the selling of their children. While attempting to hide there shame and true actions for tribal bravado and Because of tribalism they attempted to hide the history of other men who were not of their tribe.

Listen to the video your own idaja is talking about ismael mire.... No one in history heard about him in any historical account he was a stable boy and 14 years old at the time of the first dervish wars. Carry on with "dervish ban nu nahay, ismael mire ba corfield qorta ka goyay". Corfield set up the camel corp to help the las canod folk hahahaha... He died in the barrack he came from not in any war. The British described them as Somalilands ishaemilites. If you don't know what that is Busted comes to mind: idaja and aw Jamac owe the brave men they tried to tarnished Inay cafis waydistan and apologise to the somali people for fabricating history
-
Hahaha Somalia no need to be desperate now you critise the source. British historical accounts are not biased they are the same accounts taken all over the world. Your uncles idaja and aw Jamac and their Ismail mirre stable boy fabricated version of somali history is what you should be critising. Somalia how does it feel to know your people not only supported the British, gave your women to the British including your own pirate kings daughter. How does it feel that the fake version of history your lot tried fake were actually landers and hag hahaha.... Walahi I love you guys such funny people. Even the men who died fighting the taleex fort were landers hahaha.... Walahi priceless. The point is dont fake history. You were los@ers then and today. It all makes sense. Why las canod is still in SOMALILAND, why pirates can't take an inch of land from no one. Why they lost to rebels even though they had the strongest army in subsaharan Africa hahah... This is to much

Main point. 1) That this Ismacil Mire had no history in the Darwish wars. To back his claim he has brought you original multiple sources which clearly agree with his statement. 2) That you las canod folk s supported the British and had fought against the Darwish as accounted by the British 3) That the Darwish movement was lead by men from several different tribes, and not a single tribe as the kacaan argue 4) most of the top leadership of dervish were landers and hag. 5) Richard corfield died saving Lascanod folk against other tribes and the dervish

Pepole have to understand that the Kacaan Revisionst have dominated this part of Somali history for a long time, from the 1970's as soon as the somali script came Idaajaa wrote his book on the poetry and hsitory of Ismaaciil mire in 1974 there the myth of "commander Ismaaciil was invented. A year or tow later Aw Jaamac came up with his 2 books on Dervish History and Poetry which is the bedrock of D block probaganada , in fact it was truned into official history even in schools his percise narrative was adopted., the myth they have manufactured is even quoted by Western Historians such as : 1- Lewis, constantly relies on Aw Jaamac and Idaa's 1974-1976 books when it comes to the Dervish 2- Cedric Barnes he wrote many papers on somali nationalism and clan politics much of his interviews came through Og and the rest through Kacaanist lilitarture ( when you study him closely you will notice what am refering to) 3- L. Kapteijns , he might not sound familair but he translated few poems of the Mullah and his Arabic letters you find in the internet much of his footnotes ,came from his Kacaanist assistant in the 1970's Mursal Faarax Afduub 4- Beachy, in his book The Warrior Mullah again in many pages he relies on the Kacaanist narrative and the books of Abdi Sheik-Abdi (Divine Madness) and Said S. Samatar Oral Poetry and Somali Nationalism. List of Kacaan porbaganidest: 1- Aw Jaamac Cumar Ciise a man who wears the cloak of Somali nationalism and a Somali histroian, he wrote almost 11 books from 1960's to 1990's all of them were d block history, from the Mullah, to Sheekh Cali Pirate and 2 poetry books Himilooyinkii Maansoonyahankii Hore in which he golorfies his own "clan poets" , and the other book is Horse , Women and Camels , from Women to Camels to even horse poetry all he allocated to D block. 2- Axmed Faarax Idaajaa a well known pathalogical clannist from the 1970s he was given goverment funds to collect D block history, and throughout the 1970's and 1980's and up to now he had his Radio Show named "fanka iyo suugaanta" for 42 years he rarely mention any non-D block. history , in the case he mentions few his agenda becomes obvious once you listen to the program, an example recently he mentioned Xuseen Xasan in one of his programs , a south Hargaisan 19 century poet , reasons became obvious , A- Xuseen Xasan mentioned kacan folk in one of his poems " Kolkaasu safaruu ula kacaan Sedo mare etc" B- He was killed by the Og in a raid , and he made sure he mentioned one of his poem as to the reason the og killed him. C- Daahir Afqarshe d. 1994 . a las canod memorizer you would recognize his voice from the old somali poetry tapes specially his volume on the poetry of Maxamed Cabdulle Hassan, he had the habit of always adding few lines of his and overtly engage on tribal diatribe right with in non-clannist Somalia in the 1970's where even making a clan poetry tape would sned you to prison , Daahir Afqarshe was even funded by Afweyne goverment, much of Aw Jaamac's pro-las canod crew Dervish fiction comes from Afqarshe . Now comes the "educated" d block probagnadiest who used the English medium to further defile the Somali history, A- Said S. Samatar a Prof of literature or politics , a d block by clan , he was funded by Indiana universities in mid 1970's , he popularized the myth of Las canod Dervish and Ismaaciil Mire , Samatar is one unasbashed clannist , in most of his writing his obvious perjudice against the landers in particular comes out, read his work, from Oral Poetry , to Gabay-Hayir, to The Art of Oblique Communication in Somali Culture’ where he refers to Carab Dheere and Ismaaciil Mire's poem Kibir, he constantly refers to Carab Dheere as "Mr Fat Butt0vks", after making sure he pointed out he was an Lander which has nothing to do with the poem at all. B- Abdi Sheik-Abdi the author of few papers on Somali politics in the 1970's , he began to write a book on the Dervish in 1893 during the highet of Somali clannism and clan liberation movement , he finished his book in 1993 , a book pepered with tribal hate. Its ironic in the begginging of the book he thanks Xaaji Aadan Afqalooc and Muuse Galaal for parting him a valuable information on his book and then he proceeds to attack the Landers in the rest of the book long after the tow histroians were dead. C- Abdi Salaan Iisa-Salawa , again a supposed professor he has few papers on Somali politics and history one of the last was " The Daraawiish State" you can find it in google , caliming Koofil was helping the Landers during his last battle and the herd Koofil was trying to save from the Dervish were taken from Oodweyne ( appearntly he is confusing Idawein in Caynaba with Oodweyne thats the educated D block professor a man who doesn't even know the geography of his nation) . My adivce to the non-D block somalis is always too look be carefull reading the books of these patahlogical liars, they had a head start in the 1970's and used their education for the destruction of somali republic using state funds and D block barvado and myth to brain wash generations like the D block boys on this forum all have the names today which am trying to put some sense into.
