  1. I have observed that I do not have my kinsmen's look due to being a hybrid
  2. I am not bashing anyone. Just reporting my findings. So you can take it easy.
  3. These two Somalilanders have that "Cida" look. I've noticed that they and a lot of the other Cida's have this look. You can tell a Cida by their head shape and by their bulldog'ish facial attitude.

It is something I have observed of all the Os M's of Puntland. Not all of the other Em Jay's but just those ones in particular. They have the same jaw bone structure as well as that mouth. Especially that mouth. I know at least 5 Os M's with that mouth.
  5. Somaliland needs to stop claiming lands and people that don't want to be part of them. If you want people to respect your cause and your goals, you must respect the wishes of others.
  6. Yes there is a clan look. One example: Os M's that live in Puntland. I've noticed the males of this clan have the same type of lips. Look below Attached files
  7. If we look at the reality, Somaliland's chances of getting independence and recognition from the international community has worsened considerably in the last 12 months. They have especially worsened this week after Washington D.C recognized the Somali government. Clinton said they will only engage with the Mohamoud administration and no other administration. It is now official that Somaliland will not get any recognition from the international community. The only route for recognition is through Xamar. That has now been officially established this week and even the Somalilanders know this as much as it pains them. We know the official stance of Somalia when it comes to Somaliland recognition -- it is a no. We know the official stance of Somaliland when it comes to re-unification -- it is a no. But, Somalia has the upper hand here. They have international backing. When it comes to international relations, they have unanimous support. The countries that Somaliland has tried to establish ties with the most (Djibouti and Ethiopia) will not recognize Somaliland. Even the countries that don't have best relationship with the EU and the US will not recognize Somaliland. Somaliland has no support unfortunately. I am not sure who will be the ultimate victor in the battle between Somaliland and Somalia. But one thing is for sure, the one who will get the most punches will be Somaliland. Somaliland's future will either be unifying with Somalia OR forever staying as an unrecognized country. There is no recognition coming. Only recognition can come from Xamar and Somalia isn't going to give Somaliland any recognition and they don't need too. Somalia has the world on it's side. And Somaliland is beginning to realize this.
  8. Xamar dad baa leh. Others are welcome most definitely but they must understand they have no claims of it through clan. Think of it as your parents paying the rent/mortgage and you living under their roof. It is your home but complete ownership belongs to the parents. Xamar works like that. HAG are the parents while the others are the children. It belongs to everyone but more so to HAG.
  9. Listen, if you want to be part of any governing body or part of the government or part of national organizations, you must go to Mogadishu. You cannot expect to be in Bosaso or Hargeisa or Baydhabo and expect Xamar to give you want you want. Bosaso and Hargeisa and Kismayo don't want Xamar in their lives. What is HAG supposed to do? Beg???? No. Of course not. If you want something, go to Xamar. We try to come to you and you people say "no way. Xamar go away". We have left you because we have been told to go away. We are welcoming people who wants all Somalis to be included but we will not come to you since you told us to go away. You must come to us if you want something. This is fair considering HAG has been told to get lost numerous times. Dowlada HAG, haa nolaato. Xamar haa nolaato. Somalia haa nolaato. COME TO XAMAR IF YOU WANT YOUR PIECE OF THE PIE. WE WILL NOT COME TO YOU SINCE YOU TOLD US TO GO AWAY SINCE DAY 1
  10. The HAG government, under no circumstances, should talk with Somaliland. There needs to be a "don't ask, don't tell" policy that Hassan Sheikh Mohamud should follow. Don't ask about recognition, don't tell us about recognition. Other than that, HAG should be neutral towards Somaliland. We must not give Somaliland what they desire. They should get it from the international community. If Somaliland gets their recognition, then we will accept it and wish them the best. But Somalilanders are very sketchy and shady people which is why HAG should not sign off any papers. The work to reach recognition must be solely from Somalilanders. The people of HAG should not and can not be in this situation.
  11. I am not sure why everyone focuses on Mogadishu when it comes to looted properties. How many homes belonging to Puntland people have been taken over in Kismayo? My own grandmother has fought for 15 years over a bakaar that was stolen from her by someone else in Hargeisa and she finally got it back in 2008. Looted properties are not only a phenomenon in Xamar. If you truly have property that is yours in Xamar, go to that city and claim it. All we hear is whining and we don't see much action. Al-Shabab was even giving back properties to their rightful owners. For God sake, even Barre's daughter went to Xamar to claim back a property in Xamar and Al Shabab gave it back to her (and I am sure it was illegally obtained). This has been going on since 2006. It is now 2013. Go get what belongs to you. Or is it possible that those who are complaining don't have any property in Mogadishu and are just trying to disgrace the people of Mogadishu because of clan reasons?

  14. I've been to Kismayo. It is no longer the third Somali largest city in Somalia proper. That was a long time ago. Many cities like Bosaso, Baydhabo, Galkacyo, and Burco have surpassed it in the past 20 + years. Demographics have seriously changed during the war. Kismayo may be at the bottom top 10. The three largest cities are: Mogadishu, Hargeisa and Bosaso.
