Mogadishu's demographics have certainly changed but it's population is in the millions. Kismayo and Bosaso are no bigger than Afgoye or Jowhar. Your population is not in Somalia. You have more numbers in Ethiopia/Kenya than Somalia.

No, I am not a member unfortunately. It's clear they are the largest. I have seen a UN document showing populations of towns and cities in Somalia and their towns were much more populated. Xamar is a city of millions. Afgoye, Jowhar, Beledweyn have hundreds of thousands of inhabitants. Remember land doesn't mean larger population or Canada would host the 2nd largest population in the world rather than only having 30 million people. Central Somalia is where a large portion of Somalia's population is. If you include all Somali lands, they are not the largest but in Somalia alone, they are the largest. I don't think there even needs to be a debate about it. It is something that all Somalis can agree too.

I think they can sideline a certain group in the country. It will take time but I think they will be successful within 10-20 years. HAG is the largest within Somalia borders.

Arabic is not spoken in Somalia. It is a rare language. You don't even find many imaams who speak Arabic. But it is still one of the official languages of Somalia. But some of the literate Somalis can read Arabic. They learn it in school. That is as far as they go. When the government has an Arab delegation or when they go to the Middle East, they have one translator that the whole Somali delegation of 15 share. The average Somali can't speak a word of Arabic. The highest concentration of Arabic speakers in the Somali regions is in Muqdisho but I think it is not even 5% of the population. There are more English speakers than Arabic speakers.

Why doesn't Somaliland think rationally? I am sure even the most ardent supporters can admit this was a dumb decision.

You can't have it both ways. Give the Government of Somalia access to your autonomous states or shut the hell up. No one in the international community deals with state governments. They deal with national governments. If you refuse the government, you will be refused help. You can't go acting like your own country within a country and then start crying when Turkey ignores you for Muqdisho. At the moment, unfortunately, people have made Somalia only to be Muqdisho. So Turkey and the others will treat Somalia as exclusively Muqdisho. I hope the Turks and the others continue only giving all the attention to Muqdisho. :cool:

Jubbaland will never come into fruition. Half the people there are against it. Jubbaland dream is older than Jesus himself. It's a disney-land project. It's not on the ground at all. It is only on DAG clan websites. It find it ironic the same people who call Somaliland "fake" and "non-existing" are the same people who come from this "Jubbaland". "Jubbaland" is 50% Al-Shabab where Middle Jubba is 100% controlled by Shabab. There shouldn't be any talks of Jubbaland permanent administration or even a temporary administration before Shabab is eliminated from those areas. What also irritates me is how people from Bosaso and Abudwaq are trying to get representation in Jubbaland and are DENYING the Bantu of the Jubbas and the two native Jubba HAG clans any representation in Jubbaland. This is why Jubbaland won't work. It is not a local organization. It is just another clan wet dream organization.
