While Siyaad Barre could have been trained by the Italian police and administration, the Kacaan under Siyaad Barre had decimated the Italians. The military government took over Italian owned big farms , nationalized major banks owned by the ITalians (Banco di Roma, Napoli) and nationalized major industries. So, to assume a socialist and nationalist Somalia of nineteen seventies would promote and resurrect a pro Italian woman is illogical. The truth is despite their heroic pro-independence galvanization of Somalis from Jigjiga to Mogadishu, at the end the SYL chose Italy to administer the Italian Somaliland rather than the British who were controlling most of the Somali territory from Jigjiga yo Wajeer 1941-1950. The SYL feared the fast British power in the globe , yet it was under the British that these pro independence civic organizations were formed. On the other side, some historians , said that SYL along with the ADM connected with the Italians to deny the British to lead the south during the UN mandate. In return, the British became furious and gave reserve area to Ethiopia and handed NFD to Kenya, That is the real debate non Xaawo Taako.

This man should never have been in charge of anything of that magnitude while he was accused of being spy of Ethiopia. According to Ethiopian intelligence files made public by Abiy Ahmed government, he along many others was a paid spy of Ethiopia. Before the war, the Syrian Kurds were only 9% of the population with some strongholds in Hasakah and the Iraqi border. Today they control 30% of Syria thanks to the war and the displacement of millions of Syrians Arabs. Syria was 70% Sunni Muslims, 10% were Alawi and other Shia sects and 10% Christians. There were Palestinian refugees, Turkmen, Assyrians, Iraqi refugees and others. The so called ISIS and its sidekick Al-qaeda had mostly caused the destruction of the Sunni population both in Iraq and Syria. The second biggest victim of these extremists were the Arab Christians who lost their status and mostly fled the middle east. The Arab Christians, who trace their ancestry over a thousand years, were destroyed by these wars waged by America in the middle east for the last 30 years. If the war mongering Evangelicals care about Christianity, they should at least have some sympathy for their fellow eastern Christians. I have discussed this some two years ago with a friend. When the government tabled its first budget in 2017, it showed the office of the president allocated about $5million dollars while the office of the premier was allocated $5.5 million. I was shocked, but the friend said that foreign travel expenses might be included. It doesn't matter where they travel. If the budget of the country was $150 million for the whole year in 2017, , you can't have these offices taking almost 8% of the budget. It has been a well known Somali trick to allocate money for the phoney 'Wasaarada Madaxtooyada', A place that has less than 20 employees are given millions. The salary of the president must be defined and his employees put within the payroll of the government. Some time ago Farmaajo even claimed that he doesn't know his own salary.
