MMA, Saaxiib, tell that to the judge. Mucaaradku sidaan ayagaa doortay. Xataa haddii ay ogolaan lahaayeen 4.5 xisbiyeysan oo beesha kursiga leh ay xisbiyo matali lahaayeen wax uun bay heli lahaayeen. WAx kasta oo FArmaajo soo jeediyey way diideen ayagoo ku xumaynaaya. Bal hadda haka xaaxaabttan. No one is arguing what Dani and company are doing, but everyone is compaining about Laftagareen and Qoor Qoor. By the way at the moment, I mean in December 2021 the math is: Farmaajo 120 C/laahi Dani 71 Xasan Sheikh 30 Khayre.......

In this pages, I did siad few weeks ago that Cumar Sharmaarke shouldn't never have been appointed prime minister or something of the weight. I take that back. I was just not happy about how certain guys were given the job due to 4.5. Ina C/rashiid is a big time plater who works slowly but surely. Having said that, I don't think Mr. Sharmmarke to be recless or spoiler like the man who is hell bent on stopping the election and creating chaos, Mr. C/raxman C/cabdishakur. Neither Khayre nor former president Shariif Ahmed would accept a power grab from an opposition who played a reckless strategy without thinking the consequences. We all wanted a one person one vote where many of these guys could have secured some votes and offical party status. Farmaajo wanted to extend two years, but they thought that was power frab. Now, one years is already gone, and these fools are square one. THis election is between C/laahi Dani, the man of the hour and Farmaajo. I am cheering for Dani to crush the corrupt Reer Bari onligarchs who want to act like Muuse Suudi in Boosaaso. Too bad Dani could have gotten my vote if he had dismissed Faroole , the man that refuses to disappear. Ninku hadduu tag iska soo reebo waa geesi. Ka cabso Dani. The stupid HAG had lost by gambeling and relying on the illegal guns of Suudi and Indhacade in 2021. Now they have to choose between Dani and Farmaajo.

When will they stop this useless red carpet? One governor visting his neihgbor region shoildn't be treated as international visit by a foreign leader. Only in Somalis. Big fish in a pound. Ahmed Siilaanyo would visit Berbera which is two hour dtive from Hsargeisa and when he comes back to Hsrgeisa, there were 200 elders and hangers on crooks lining up at the airport. Anyway, Mr. Laftagareen will certainly pick who is going to be the president of Somalia. He will be hand pickling almost 70 members of upper and lower hoiuse members. Unlike the other fools who bark day and night Mr.. Gareen takes care off business quitely and honorably. That is confidence.

Somali Regional President comments at Heritage Institute Forum
galbeedi replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
He also explained what brought back the the TPLF after their defeat of 2018, mainly foreign powers. The surprise thing is the way he openly put on the table the Ethiopian issues. He didn't sugar coat amything. Che, I hope he answered the issue of Abiy being another would be EThiopian despot. The policy of Abiy toward Somali republic isn't one taregeted or intended for Farmaajo , but for the regional policy of the current EThiopian administration. He explained well the age old Somali complain about Ethiopia weakenining and intefering the Somali state. Abiy stopped that inteference. Che, I think president Mustafe had concluded the debate in this frum from Khadaafi, you, me and others about about the actions of Abiy Ahmed. Ethiopia waa laga nastaye, Kenya ma laga nastay? he siad Kenya is a problem. I didn't listen the rest of the guys especially the guy from Djibouti who did not contribute much. -

I think president MUstafe Cagjar seems to be a nice guy. Somethimes, I think he might be one of us the way expresses himself. I did watch last week his conversation with Sheikh Abdi Hersi , and he touched most of the topics of theinterview with integrity and openess. I think he is correct. While Ethiopia is in termoil, the Somali region is at peace within itself except the Afar vs Somali border disputes. I don't like his clan dominated government, but one thing I will give credit to president Mustafe today will be JIgjiga is just another independent and free Somali city where you can enjoy without fear. He removed thay age old fear of being arrested, kidnapped or abused. As he said, for the last 60 years, it is the first time freedom and liberty is enjoyed in Somali Galbeed. -
Give the kis a job at the Banadir municiplal building or clerk at the madaxtooyada not one of the top diplomatic jobs at the UN. Where is the minister of foreign affaiares on this? Ma qaataye qaado miyaa

PM Abiy announces he will go to the frontlines to lead the army
galbeedi replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
Abiy is even talking like Erdogan by demanding changes in the security council. He wants the horn of Africa to have a permenant member. THe next president of Somalia whom even he is, will join the horn of Africa alliance. If Geelle of Djibouti refuses, he will be easily deposed by the Afar who are at the gates. -

THey are certainly keeping the same messege. I guess no American citizen is leaving sunny and cheap Addis for Kentucky, frgid MInesota or loud New york. They are even offering loans for travel. On the other hand , the EU is restiring payments to the Kenyan army to stay in Somalia, while Muasaveni is lamenting the defeat of the TPLF. It should be clear for all of us now where everyone is standing in the horn of Africa and east Africa. The next battle will be between the next Somali president whether it is Farmaajo , Deni or Hassan Sheikh and Ugandan leader MUsaveni who want to keep his forces in Somalia even if the Somali army is capable of securing the nation. It is clear Abiy Ahmed wants free, save and independent Somalia. The next threat is from the Sawahilis whether we like or not. -
Are they dead, are they alive, are they fighting in a foreign war
galbeedi replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
Well it seems our freind Dhagaxtuur is in a new campaign. The other day he was seeking justice for Ikran and today he is against reconasance drone for Somalia. This are intelligence gathering drones which helps the army to target the movements of the enemy. Your cover had been blown. Your anrachist cousin C/rahman C/shsakuur has no moral standing or credibility in Somalia. Let him contest the election like eveyone else. Ciidan Soomaali ah oo la soo tababsaray ayaa Eritrea ka imaanaya. Meel walbana qaylaa ka baxaysa. According to the logics of pri TPLFand Kenya peopleI, t is okay for Kenyan , Ugandan and Djibouti forces in Somalia, but aSomali force is dangerous. Soon the Somali army will take over the security of the nation. Ciidanka Farmaajo ma leh ee qarankaa leh. Waxaanu leenahay geeshka yagow guulaysta oo budhacada iyo kuwa afka duubtay maga qabta. Waar ninkan Farmaajo la tartama oo buuqa joojiya. This isn't an opposition anymore. THey even oppose the strethening of the army. Who are they serving? certainly not Somalia. -

It seems the TPLF is just lives for the moment. They had zero strategy when they were in power other than prolong their rule. THey attacked anyone who would have helped them for their future. THey never learn. They attacked both Eritrea and Somalia, the two nations that helped them. Now they attacked the Affar who supposed to be their ally. Why attack the Afar? Even if they cut the highway from MIlle, the Djibouti-Dire dhabe-Addis railaway could the job of delivering goods to Ethiopia. Since the proxy war failed, what would the Americans do? Let us see. For them the war and the regime change polivy isn't over yet. I could be wrong, but I think the Americans will change their target from Ethiopia to Ertirea. They will use both Sudan and Egypt to depose Asias Afwork, and if they succeed doing that then the TPLF might wage another war from the north. It was very strage war. The only think I predicted correctly was the fake Oromo Liberation Army whowanted to ride the TPLF caravan. THey were useless from the start. -
I thought I knew Somali history, but Khadaafi teaches us something new everyday. I didn't know C/qadir Saqawadeen was the son of Sheikh Aweys. Other than his death by the hand of Darawish, I didn't know much either other than he was a patron saint of the Qadiriya Dariiqa in southern Somalia. When I arrived in Mogadishu in 1981, I used to go Ceelgaab to listen the chronicles of the Qadiriya ullema in Ceel Gaab narrate some of the strange stories I never heard anywhere else in Hadith or Seera of the Prophent may be and blessing of Allah with him. I memorized their chants before they begin their stories: Allahu Laa Illaha Ilalahu Mohamedu Rasululah Sheik Abulqad SheeliLah Uweys Ahmed Waliyo Allah. Certainly we are missing a lot of history, especially the anti colonial wars of Sheikh Hassan Barsame, the Lafoole battles and the Water Maal revolt, although the Kacaan had added some to the history including naming schools after them.. Non of the Mogadishu residents of today including the Unaka lifted one finger against the Italians. One thing that was clear in early twenty century was the Salaxiya of Sayid Mohamed were in uphill battle against the Qadariya which was the dominant "Dariiqa in north west Somalia, Puntland and the deep south. Even Sheikh Jamac Cumar Ciise the great historian and the biographer of the Darwiish movement wrote in his book " Taariikhda Daraawiishta" about the dislike of the Sayid of the Qadiriya. Despite his polemic tribal poems and other crimes, the great Darwiish was one of the icons of the Somali independent movement of the modern Somalia. History will show his twenty year struggle which ended with the bombing of Taleex by the British planes. It is difficult to judge the leaders of that era without looking their overall impact in history. Churchill was a drunkard who called Indians and Africans sub human, yet in British history , he is well known for his war and victory against the Nazis. When they compare their historic figures, he always raises to the top. What we are missing is the comprehensive history of the south and the contributions made by many including Saqqawadeen, Dheere Haji Dhere, Mohamed Yusuf of SYL and the war against the Italians fought by the likes Cumar Samater, Sheikh Barsame and others. All we hear is the Banadiri being pro Italian and anti independent. The Daraawiish movement was one the only two movements that shed blood to stop colonial roots in Somalia. After the collapse of the Daraawiish, the north has done nothing but to became a vessel protectorate with zero wars for independence. In fact, one of the major reasons most Somalis in the South central, Puntland and the North never appreciate the value of freedom is they never fought for it and shed a blood unlike the DAraawiish.. SNL, SYL, HDM and others were just civic pro independent movements who lost zero to war. Idaaja uses oral history without any extensive research on the issues of history. He is a good narrator of culture and literature , but not history. Brother Khadaafi, I hope you should or we should all strive to uncover the hidden history of Sheikh Aweys who spread Islam in deep south, Waamo and beyond, without denying the achievements of our heroes, Sayid Mohamed and the Daraawiish movement.

THat case is closed. No need to rehash now. The opposition has no hope now. THat why I am saying to Farmaajp/Qoor Qoor give them few seats of their friends like Tuur Yare and company to give them some consultations. Make sure they come to the arena and contest the election. Waar nimaka ku dhiiri geli in ay yimaadaan garoonka lagu ciyaatayo ka dibna si fiican uga badi. Anyway, this contest is between C/laahi Deni and Farmaajo. The Mogadishu fools never had any strategy other than oppose Farmaajo. The Unaka has no choice but to back Deni for future hopes of getting the premiership,. Marka qofka kursiga lagu siiyo waa reer hebel iyo 4.5 waxaas oo kale ayaa dhaca. In the real world people like Rooble, C/weli Gaas , Cumar Sharmaatke, and Saacid could never have been directors of an agency let alone prime minister. Khayre despite his mistakes was the most competent prime minister we have seen for the last 20 years because he was selected without clan consideration.
-
Ahmed Madoobe and C/laahi Deni had set a bad precedent when they selected senate seats where the preferred candidate run against their drivers, maids and in laws. Yet, being the president should be different than what a hopeless regional leader does. Despite their earlier mistakes of ridding with the regional leaders, Farmaajo should allow the opposition to have some influence and leeway to have their friends in the parliament. The way Jawaari was treated was really bad. Farmaajo already defeated him by taking away his speaker-ship, why keep beating a dead horse. Give the man his seat and let him have his microphone inside parliament holes. Ninka markaad legado waa laga kacaa, haddi kale waa doqonimo. As I said before, this will be the most corrupt election even contested in Somalia. In fact, I was trying to write an article about abolishing this election and going back to one person one vote to safe the few institutions standing now. I am just waiting to interview a friend of mine who just visited, Nairobi, Kismayo, Baioda and Mogadishu who came back yesterday. Farmaajo might win the election, but the system might not survive. Mahdi Guuleed is selecting who should represents Awdal. Regardless of the elders, he has the last word.

To make these developments successful, you need a responsible and functioning state. The only ships that will dock in Somali ports are probably uninsured and risk prone ships from Arabian gulf or unregistered outlaw ships from Vietnam to Liberia. I don't know anything about maritime shipping, but from time to time I hear ships who sink in the Red Sea while carrying shipments to Berbera or Mogadishu. Berbera, with its strategic locations and access serves the 2 million people of Somaliland and nothing else.

He is a self made man unlike those who got appointed through 4.5. His main card the Qatar connection which decides the outcome of the elections. My only concern about intelligence chiefs under FArmaajo is they are spending most of their time in politics than security which is their primary job. Also, it is illegal for the current intelligence director to run and get elected in the parliament. If things don't change and quickly in terms of flowing the rules of the game, we could have a disputed elections.

PM Abiy announces he will go to the frontlines to lead the army
galbeedi replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
Abiy might not rush to enter Tigray at the moment, but the Americans and others have no way to help the TPLF. Sudan tried to smuggle Tigray forces through Al-Faqasha last weekend and they were ambushed by the Amhara special forces. A dozen Sudanese were killed. Also, the TPLF might not get back the Amhara inhabited land back. The Amhara have suffered in this war the most , but it seems they will come out as winners. THey have mobilized millions which would overwhelm the the Tigray forces. The TPLF had devised a very clever strategy to capture few major towns while their sponsors would sound the alarm and the Oromo to make the siege of Addis. They did their duty, but the OLA are no where to be seen. In my observations, the Oromo leadership and their masses are not only very smart, but very diligent in their moves. While some had fought, they mostly just sat on the sidelines. Even those who despise Abiy Ahmed were very careful not to create division among them. THey need more time and space to build the Oromo establishment both in the military and bureaucracy. I hope Abiy has realized that his moves to arrest Oromo leadership cost him almost to lose. -
PM Abiy announces he will go to the frontlines to lead the army
galbeedi replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
Folks, the coup has failed completely. The American false alarm couldn't chase Abiy out of Ethiopia. They issues alarm after alarm: airliner could fall from the sky due to anti-aircraft, bombs will go off in Addis, and Ethiopia could be Afghanistan. All failed. If the Americans have any brain left, they would lick their wound and change course. WE knew the TPLF can't sustain the war that long. THe OLA that supposed to take Addis was nothing but a paper tiger created by the TPLF. The TPLF leadership just send an SOS to US and EU to stop Ethiopian army from entering Tigray. Before the war, Abiy and company despised the ethnic federalism created by the TPLF, yet despite what people say there won't be any return of centralized power. Abiy will ride the war victory for a while and could probably rule the next 10 years. The victors are the Afar, Muslims and Abiy. Last weekend Abiy promoted five Affar officers as generals. THey saved him. The opposition is fragmented, and it will take time and huge efforts to find a broad based opposition to unseat him. At the moment, the Oromo parties are mostly regionally based and doesn't appeal anyone else, so does the Amhara parties. If Abiy had allowed the real opposition to run last election, he could still had won the majority of votes. The position of the Somali region will be weaker than before the war. Mustafe Cagjar was sitting on the side lines. Other than few pronouncements to denounce the TPLF, he hasn't done much to the war effort to defeat the TPLF. ONLF, the only well known opposition had joined openly the American campaign against Abiy Ahmed and will be a weak entity with load microphone. Somaliland will also lose with Abiy led Ethiopia. Both Djibouti and Somaliland had smuggled weapons to the region to create more chaos. Kenya also doesn't look good either. THey became the American brokers with no solutions. Abiy shot down all of his messages. Certainly it will be a new and different Ethiopia, but you need the federal government to hold together the dysfunctional ethnics . Che, the TDF are done. last week and this week are crucial. -
Borkena News. Chifra now under the control of Ethiopian Defense Force, Afar regional forces November 28, 2021 Burka and Chifra are confirmed to be under the control of Ethiopian Forces. TPLF forces entirely cleared from Afar region Ethiopian Forces as they triumphantly entered Chifra and hoisting flag (Photo : FBC) borkena A day after it was announced by Afar regional State Communication office, the Ethiopian State media on Sunday confirmed that Chifra, a strategic town linking Afar, Amhara and Tigray region, is now under the control of the Ethiopian Defense Force and Afar region special forces. Two days ago, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed shared a video footage, on this twitter page, in which he said the Ethiopian Forces have captured Kasagita, another strategic town where the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) had a fortified position, and that Burka and Chifra would be captured next. Two of the towns are now under Ethiopian Forces. The TPLF has reportedly suffered a blowing defeat at the Kasagita. In what seems to be a scorched earth action, the TPLF forces burned private and public properties which they were unable to transport to the Tigray region. Destruction TPLF forces unleashed in Kasagita (Photo : FBC) Earlier this week, the highest body overseeing the State of Emergency in Ethiopia introduced a new regulation restricting battlefront related information, including the whereabouts and advances made by the Ethiopian Forces until disclosed by a designated government body, the Government Communication Ministry. However, there are rumours that the Ethiopian forces are already marching to the industrial city of Kombolcha after recapturing Bati. The TPLF has not yet released an official statement regarding the losses in Kasagita, Bati and Chifra. The United States government has been apparently expecting the TPLF forces to capture the capital Addis Ababa and consequent mayhem within two weeks after the capture of the Dessie and Kombolcha. It has issued travel advisories for American citizens to avoid travel to Ethiopia and for those who are already in Ethiopia to use commercial flights to evacuate from Ethiopia. As it turns out and based on extensive state media and citizen reports, TPLF forces are not only stopped from making further advances but also found themselves in a position whereby they are cut from reinforcement supply lines and logistics too. Ethiopian PM minister Abiy Ahmed seems to be optimistic that the TPLF forces will be defeated in a matter of weeks. He is leading the army in his capacity as commander in chief of the armed forces, and his presence in the battle front has visibly made a difference in terms of mobilization and in terms of boosting the spirit of the resistance forces. __

TPLF is defeated in Affar. As they retreat they have burned Masjids and religious books. The map shows Chifra is directly facing Waldiya which is north of Dessie. If the Afat keeps moving they will cut the supply line of the Junta. . It seems the coup has failed. If Abiy prevailed, America will be cut in size in so many ways. Also, Sudanese army was trying to bring in TPLF fighters recruited and trained from the refygee camps were ambushed by Ethiopian forces with dozens of Sudanese casualties. TPLF could have liberated their own Amhara seized towns and stayed in their territories, but they decided to wage a proxy war for the big boys. The plan was almost perfect, but the hapless OLA failed to do their part.

The Business community are doing great. Somalis had shown it could be done. You don't need DP world or Chinese to build things. I would give those who built Garacad other contracts to build infrastructure.

Ciidaanka Baraha Bulshada goes after Nor, Ministery of Internak Security

Pocket dial kulaha. Waa dadkii TPLF ka taangiray. His corrupt and idiot at the same time. How this kind of people be appointed to the highest security ministry of Somalia? This is a fake a government. -
I think I will side with C/laahi Deni on this one. This so called Dayaano family consider the PSF soldiers like their own property. The Son took over from the father, and now the brother goes for election and he transfers the PSF to his brother. What is this? their family property? Deni has the power to fire and hire commanders as he is the leader. THose who refuse to hand over command after being replaced are nothing but greedy anarchists. It is one of those parallel forces America has created to undermine local authority. They might be a good fighting force against Al-shabaab, but they must be accountable to the leadership of Puntland.

The more things change the more they stay the same. " A Telecome company wanted to pull a fiber optic cable from Oman through the Somaliland coast and was interested to enter the cellphone and internet market in major towns in Somaliland , the company complied with all the necessary requirements and I signed an agreement with them. Then, president Ahmed Siilaanyo called me in to his office and told me to cancel the contract without just cause, I left his office, shut down my cellphone and disappeared for few days. Tthen Hersi A. Hassan, the real boss, fired me for refusing to comply the order of the, but at the same time, they allowed me to collect my ministerial salary and car until the end of the Siilanyo term." That was the assessment of the former minister of telecommunication in Somaliland Mohamed Jamac Abgaal. The problem is the minister didn't tell the whole truth of his firing. He argued that he couldn't in good conscience cancel a contract he dully entered on behalf of the Somaliland , but the fact was the Somaliland internet market was under the monopoly of SomeCable of Mohamed Aw Said of Djibouti and Somtel of Dahabshiil. The order was to protect the illegal monopoly which collects tens of millions from the customers with zero government regulation. At the time, Ahmed Siilaanyo was weakened by dementia and other cognitive deceases, and a 40 something years old former Dahabshiil executive by the name of Hersi Haji Hassan was completely the acting president of Somaliland. Furthermore, the Hargeisa palace was sensitive of any open criticism of the Ahmed Siilaanyo which forced them to hire anyone that opened his mouth. In fact Mr. Abgaal was one of those appointed to minister in order to silence him. By 2011/2013, the number of ministers and associate ministers reached over 70. The most vocal opponent of the Siilanyo government was no other than the load mouth and tough politician, chairman of the UCID party, Mr. Faysal A. Waraabe. His criticism of ministers and Siilaanyo was so tough, even Ahmed Siilaanyo recorded a video to insult Faysal Waraabe after midnight. Just month or so ago, Faysal WAraabe accused the former minister of public works and roads, the former criminal who fire bombed Hargeisa, Osman Abokar , for embezzlement after a German NGO that supposed to finance the Hargeisa--Gabiley road pulled out of the contract accusing the minister of shady and corrupt practises. The minister got crazy and vowed to sue Faysal, but later he asked one of his cousins from Bebera who is a member of UCID to reconcile with Faysal and ask him to stop his attacks which Faysal Waraabe complied. So, in order to weaken Faysal Waaabe, Hirsi Gaab financed/rahman Ciro earlier than we think to depose Faysal and takeover of UCID. After Cirro , who is usually weak , failed to take over UCID, they helped him create his own party. In fact, way before Ciro established Waddani, Hirsi and Siilaanyo promised him to succeed Siilaanyo after seven years in power. That was the main reason chaiman Cirro of Waddani never acted as the real opposition to Ahmed Siilaanyo. He was almost acted like a controlled opposition. To make the long story short, Hirsi Ali Hassan, the man who destroyed the Somaliland institutions and made Hargeisa palace as his own shop, had bought the Waddani party form the weak and incompetent C/rahman Cirro. With his stolen cash from Somaliland people, he sidelined C/qaadir Jirde, the last statesman left in Somaliland. There is an open secret in Hargeisa that the richest politician in Somaliland is Mr. Hirsi. I asked a friend of mine from south Hargeisa how much Hirsi Gaab is worth, and I was almost fall from my chair how much money this guy has looted. How could that happen?, how can one man openly steal that much money from the government?, he wasn't even a finance minister or minister of Intenational planning where most of the NGO money are directed. For the last two years, another one from Kulmiye called Mohamed H Abdi, who also looted enough money as the chief of staff of Siilaanyo after Hisi was fied, is also looking to buy his own party, but so far he is unsuccessful. Whee else in the wold a thief who stole from the public purse will be considered a hero. Only in Hargeisa. The great poet Gaariye said : Tuug dhuuntaanu arki jirnee mid Toosh wataa Yimid. Today in Somaliland people complain how many plots of lands Muuse Biixi stole or his nepotism in government hiring, yet everyone in Hageisa will tell you Muuse Biixi is a miser ( Waa Gacantii go'dey xagga lacagta) in terms of money. In the last election, his colleagues in Kulmiye complained that the lack of campaign finance to the party was one of the main reasons for the parliamentary defeat . When Biixi took over as a president in 2017, there were 109 people working at the presidential palace in Hargeisa, and 75% of them were from east Burco community. He fired them all and kept less than a dozen. I am not saying that Biixi is not corrupt, but the looting of public purse is very small compared to Hirsi and company. The Waddani party transfer to Hersi Gaab was a bad transaction that will hunt Mr. Cirro for the next election. Those who are cheering for him say, the abdication of the chairmanship was a selfless act form C/rahman Cirro. Yet, most of us don't see that way. If Cirro loses two consecutive elections, what is the reason to remain as a chairman. Furthermore, they created seven or eight vice chairmen without no duties to perform. Folks, this was nothing but the takeover of Waddani party by a group of deep pocketed people led by Hersi. Mr. Cirro will be surrounded by the same Jackals who looted Somaliland dry for seven years. He could be another figure just like Siilaanyo. For most people of Somaliland this wasn't the change they were expecting. This is the return of the looters with another weak and corrupt caravan led by C/rahman Cirro. Looking the landscape at the moment, Faysal Waraabe, the load mouth that never disappears, could be the candidate of a change. Maybe it is time to support the load hyena than the snakes who made the people of Somaliland poor and corupt. Mayor Mooge is wearing big cowboy hats with no cattle The more things change, the more they stay the same. The new mayor of Hargeisa Ina Mooge had the largest support a candidate could garner in Somaliland. He has all the tools to make his promise of good government and providing better service to the people possible. yet, for the last six months, he hasn't introduced and reforms or changing of the delivery of public services. All we see is the usual " ololaha Nadaafada" campaign to clean the garbage. While people must be educated about littering and garbage collection which is an enormous job, their should be a budget allocated for garbage collection and sanitation. Real public servants must be created to work 24/7 to clean the streets and collect garbage. This fake campaign of mayors , ministers and others collecting garbage is just another publicity for the media. Qawda Maqashii. What is this Mooge guy doing to create real people with wages and salary to do the real job of cleaning the city, legal land tiltles that can't be disputed by " Ku qabso ku qadi mayside" by greedy land speculators and powerful politicians?. If these issues are beyond his pay grade, then he should hire consultants and others who know few things about urban planning and city management. It is the system that needs the change not the individuals. . Dad qashimkiiba iska qaadi la'a ayaa dawladnimo iyo nidaam laga sugayaa. Kacaankii barakaysnaa ayaa dawlad ugu dambeysay geyiga Soomaaliyeed.

Che, this is not Somalia where a man was picked by Manifesto from the streets of Mogadishu because he was Unaka community in 1991. Any transition must flow the current rules of the game. Which means either the head of the army or the deputy premier. The TPLF hatred of Amhara is purely about power and politics. In fact, the biggest strategy of the TPLF is to depose Abiy Ahmed, everything else takes a back seat. I agree with you that the Americans are dealing with the elite, and just like the TPLF, they are probably undermining the army leadership within, but the Ethiopians both back home and the diaspora had shown their show of force to the Americans and others, that there is a zero possibility of any Tigray or associates of TPLF ever coming to power to rule. They might get their landlocked Tigray to rule, and have influence for the new Ethiopia. That is about it. One major defeat will cripple the TPLF. We all agree that Abiy will not flee. The TPLF had to win the war not the battle for Abiy to give up.
