  1. Here you have one of the members of Mustafe Cagjar office calling for war
  2. Warr wadanka gudihiisa waa la iswada haystaa. He is secluded in huge compound built by Illey. He can't lead . He didn't resolve one single dispute as of today. You can't just pick up a young guy from Halane and throw in a tough place. furthermore, he is going to resign. You heard it here.
  3. While ago when someone asked me about Somali regional president Mustafe Cagjar . I said , He is a reformer and people respect him. I haven't changed my opinion of him, yet I do believe that he isn't capable of implementing the reforms necessary for Somali region to move forward. Here are my main reasons : 1-President Mustafe can't distance himself from the clan elders of his community and the tribal system that is trying to intermingle with the current government. The gate keepers of his office are tribal elders. If you need an appointment , you must find one of the elders. His tribal groupings are terrified of not only change but also the fear that other Somalis might share the power and the future of the region. In fact, the overwhelming majority of his community believe that without one of their clansmen in power they might not survive a playing field with the rest of Somalis. . For these people, losing power means the end of the world. I was debating one of these guys and told him that despite their fears nothing will happen to them. I told him that " your regions have a thousand kilometer paved roads built by the Chinese from Jigjiga all the way to Godey,; you got water canals, health centers and other infrastructure, and we did not get one kilometer of paved road, one school built the state , yet we are not starving and under circumstances we are doing fine, why worry?" They have been ruling Jigjiga town for more than 12 years , yet other than few unfinished buildings in Jigjiga which people call " Booli Qaran" they do not have any honestly earned assets that is visible to see. In fact, most of those buildings are litigated in courts because the land these buildings are sitting are either confiscated from the rightful owners or are taken for public interest and then transferred to the clan insiders. This is not Mogadishu were everyone had left after 1991, and no one came back for their houses and assets until 2008 while many did not even came back ald left for good. Illey just left seven months ago and there are witnesses to corporate who owns what. Within Jigjiga you could see unfinished four story buildings abandoned by Illey and his cronies. 2-while showing his Somali centric face, he is totally on board of the clan agenda to marginalize others and hold on to power for what ever price it takes. Few weeks ago when I was in Jigjiga, about sixty Somalis security officers who finished their training came back to Jigjiga. They were recruited from different towns within the region to be the new face of Somali officers. Those who hail from the presidents clan were given officer ranks covertly in Godey without anyone knowing while others were visiting their home towns. A local Suldaan told me that he had taken the case of six officers from his region who were left behind from the promotion. These are many of tribal moves and illegal actions are taking place under his watch and he could do nothing. 3- He is becoming hostage to ONLF agenda. Hundreds of ONLF operatives , activists and supporters had come from the diaspora after signing the peace accord with Abiy Ahmed. I am not talking about the fighters and others who were based in Asmara , Eritrea, but hundreds of supports from the diaspora. I was staying a hotel were ONLF operatives from the diaspora were staying. These men came from around the globe. They came from Toronto and Alberta in Canada; America, Australia and Western Europe. They were the guests of the Somali regional government. Imagine hundreds of people eating and sleeping big hotels for free for months and months. While we were paying our bills like everyone else, these free loaders were staying these hotels without worry. I do not know how long these welfare from the poor Somali region will last. Most of them were in the diaspora like me for 25 years or more and they just come home and want to take the power from the balcony of their cushy hotels. They both using each other. ONLF want to use state resources that belong to the Somalis while trying give cover and legitimacy to Cagjar. He in return want to use them as a threat that needs to be pampered while knowing that despite their past the ONLF of today are just another party that relocated from the diaspora. They supposed to finance themselves and pay their way to build their political party and contest the election like every other Somali group. This is the mind set I was referring to. They do not understand that these resources belong to the Somali people who badly needs schools and health centers , yet millions are spent on to this privileged class from the diaspora. 4-Last but not the least of all , he is very weak. He may have a good heart or reform minded agenda and freedom for the Somalis, but if you can't stand up to your own clan and protect the public purse from the ONLF free loaders and others, then it is imperative to resign and give the helms to others. Mustafe Cagjar was an idealist NGO operative that has no business in running and cleaning up the mess left by Illey and others. Most of all, in order to reform the Somali region and implement a fair and free election, you need another leader who doesn't have the clan affiliation or weakness to please certain people. There were two reasons that Mustafe Cagjar was made as the acting president. First, there was a fear among the Ethiopian leaders that the ruthless Liyu police who were blood thrust might create anarchy and security issues within the region. Since they were trained to die and live for the tribe , they might have caused massacres, robberies and other criminal actions that would had made the Somali region a failed region of outlaws. Since these armed men know only clan affiliation, it was logical to bring one of their own and buy the peace in the short term. Second, He was hand picked by small group of activists from JIgjiga called "Dulmi Diid" who used him as a symbol of the victims of Cabdi Illey who killed his brother. Dulmi Diid didn't have political muscle to crown their own man. Many of them were junior operatives of Cabdi Illey himself for many years. They just abandoned him for the last year of his power and they were mostly managed from the diaspora. When their opinion were asked by the top leadership, they pointed out to a guy in Halane, Mogadishu compound whose brother was murdered by Illey. Despite their early backing of Cagjar and agitations in Jigjiga, Dulmi Diid today became a powerful group especially in Jigjiga. They refused the raising of ONLF flag in Jigjiga , and in these days, if anyone wrongs them they would rise up and shake the city literally. I did accompany a friend of mine who was trying to buy land just outside the perimeter of the city and to my surprise, almost all those farms belonged to the Bart...re community. When they say they own the city, they probably mean about the surrounding because the city itself is inhabited by many different community. Despite all those reasons, the most important one is that a real change in the region must happen now before a disputed election and the civil war that might follow. The OG community must face the reality now, and Somalis and other people in Ethiopia must see their future reactions now before too late. If Mustafe Cagjar resigns and is replaced by someone from other communities or Ahmed Shide himself , it will show them that everyone including an OG president is replaceable. The change is coming , so let them taste the change now during the transition period. The biggest problem of all is that they think replacing them is anti Somali, equating their clan to Soomaalinimo. Well, they must understand that the Somali region and community is bigger than one single community and to realize that now will save the Somalis from a lot of headache in the future. Many years ago following 1991, everyone has thought that someone from the HAG community must lead Somalia or there might not be peace. I believe we have passed that stage today and the Somali region must pass that stage in order to prosper. The campaign to cry foul had already started and their irrational speeches are hitting the airwaves. They are calling Ahmed Shide an Oromo , spy and many other awful names. THey must understand that they are not the ones who give Somali identity cards to other Somalis. Somalis had lost more territory under Cabdi nIlley than any other leader. Just this week there was bloody fights among the Affar and Somali residents whose land was transferred by Illey in 2014 to the Affar kilil. Many Somalis are still dying because of his late actions. In order to please the TPLF , he gave away every land dispute. The first regional capital of the Somali state was Dire Dhaba, the second largest city in Ethiopia at the time, yet the guy from Godey who became the leader took away from Dire Dhabe to Goday. It was Cabdimajid who brought from Godey To Jigjiga. Because of that action we lost Diredhabe to others. I would advise president Cagjar to resign honorably and give others to right the mistakes done by Illey and company. Also, most Somalis including me, do not believe that Mustafe Cagjar will be able to hold fair and free elections in 2020. The reforms to pave the fair elections must take place now.
  4. Suldaanka, As I said, he might sell the party to the east Burco pays, and the only guys with money are Hersi Gaab and Mohamuud Hashi. I would open up parties during municipal election and create a new opposition party.
  5. By the way, Puntland will only go down not up, because this new guy has want to start everything from the scratch. Even Farmaajo knows that despite some disagreements, C/weli was friend to the federal government just like he was with Hassan Sheikh. The Reer Mudug always shoot straight, but the Reer Bari will play under the water and Farmaajo will find out soon the mistakes he made.
  6. Xaaji, Hilac is from Yugoslavia , if you know what I mean. On the other hand we do not want to know where Holac is from . He is a good judge who can comment wisely on issue with intelligence. I wish no one knew me where I hail. mystery is good thing in SOL.
  7. This has nothing to do with Jubbaland. I know you are unhinged these days by just throwing things and expect that it might stick. No one is disputing that their ideological connection with Al-shabaab , yet their motives has nothing to do with Kismaayo controlled by Madoobe and Kenya. There are no Somalis involved in this terror attack. It is fact. one of the Kenyans was a convert and the rest are all coastal Sawahili. The physical features of some of the attackers were that of a mixed race. Yet, the Kenyans had arrested three dozen Somalis to make money. We all know that the Kenyan police are among the most corrupt people in the world and would make good cash by detaining innocent people and releasing them later. The strange thing that needs explanation is these men were acting and spending money like well to do people. They were driving late model cars and residing huge suburban villas. The lazy Kenyans should investigate carefully and found out who financed these crimes rather than round up innocent people.
  8. Sheikh Cali Dheere, aka Abu Muscab, the Al-shabaab spokesman who took over the former job held by Mukhaar Robow --The man who wanted to be president of South West region of Somalia--has claimed the Nairobi, Kenya attack that killed a two dozen people including Somalis. He said, the attack was for the retaliation of the Jerusalem embassy move by the Trump administration. It has been well known for these losers and killers to claim anything that hurts innocent civilians. Yet, the facts on the ground indicate different direction. While there is ideological connections between the Somali radicals and these groups, their motive is totally different than Al-shabaab. Here are the facts: First, among the attackers of the Hotel and the surrounding buildings, there were no Somali gun men . All of them were non Somali native Kenyans or what we call " Sawahili" natives. Second, four out of the five are from the coastal region of Kenya were a separatists movement is active. A large number of coastal people who went to Somalia in 2006 to fight with Al-shabaab came back home and clemency was granted to most of them. Yet there is law intensity war brewing between the local natives of the coast and other Kenyan immigrants who have settled there. The first major bombing in east Africa took place in Nairobi and Darasalam in 1998 before anything radical or bombs took place in Somalia. The man who was the masterminded of that attack Salah Nab'an who Cali Dheere quotes was the early founder of the Jubba Al-shabaab. Folks, there were Sawahili radicals before Al-shnaab and other and these people do still exist today in Kenya and Marituis. They might even exist after Al-shabaab. These kind of narrative of Somalis coming to Kenya and killing people might have existed in the early years, but doesn't exist today. The Sawahilis must find and get their own radicals within Kenya rather than Somalia. Also, there is war of shooting first and asking questions later, between the police and some of the fundamentalists in Mombasa and Lamu county. In order to eliminate those who have sympathy with Al-shabaab , the police had killed some of the local Imams through drive by shooting. The coastal youth are radicalized by the system and are feeling marginalized. These attacks are the manifestation of these anger. According to some people, this attack is carried out by local Kenyan with their own political and religious grievances, yet the killer and fool called Abu Muscab says it ids their work just like ISIS used to claim every attack that took place in the west. Furthermore, since Trump announced the realignment of American military strategy in the middle east and Afghanistan , the radical franchise and terrorists are bringing their ugly head. out As Trump mulled of leaving Afghanistan , he might as well leave Africa and Somalia. My conspiracy hat tells me just like the Kurds who want to keep America staying in Syria, the ISIS franchise in east Africa want to be active in the international media. Also, the locals are immersed just like Somalia, the Wahabi style of closed society which is not compatible with co-existence. Even as early as November 2018, Kenyan police raided a meeting of the coastal separatists. Kenyan police on Thursday arrested 46 suspected members of the separatist group, the Mombasa Republic Council (MRC), in the coastal city of Mombasa. Likoni divisional police commander Benjamin Rotich said security officers ambushed the group, suspected to be behind insecurity in the coastal region, when it was holding an illegal meeting at a popular beach. Rotich said suspects who include elderly and youth were having an illegal meeting. “They did not have a permit to hold the meeting. We have kicked off investigations,” said Rotich. The police have been accusing the MRC, an increasingly violent Islamic group of working in cahoots with the al-Shabaab terrorist group, to carry out the gruesome attacks in the coastal region. MRC whose key agenda remains largely unclear beyond the call for the separation of Mombasa and the coastal region from the rest of Kenya is also charging that the coastal people’s rights to land and property ownership have been violated. Rotich said they have launched a search for more accomplices in crime-prone Likoni area, noting that those arrested will be taken to court on Friday. Documents show the suspects are from Kwale, Kilifi and Lamu counties and the motive behind the meeting in the coastal region remains unknown. A security source who was part of the operation said dozens of MRC membership cards were seized from the suspects. Eric Wawlevu, Likoni deputy county commissioner, said that by the time of the arrest, the group members were taking illegal oaths at the beach. The group’s grievances are mostly about marginalization and land rights which are shared by many on the coast. On 2010, the government declared the MRC, together with 32 other organizations, illegal on grounds that they were not properly registered and were bent on engaging in criminal activities. Security agencies suspect the MRC could be receiving funding from Somali insurgent group al-Shabaab to carry out terror attacks in the region including the killing of more than 60 people in Lamu in 2014.
  9. Four American service men and other innocent civilians were killed in a restaurant in the Kurdish controlled town of Manbij. As the news broke, the American media went over drive and depicted this killings as the reemergence of Deash or ISIS. The narrative seemed like ISIS was saying, " America, please stay Syria, bomb and fight us". Neoconservatives led by Senator Lidsey Graham even accused president Trump of empowering ISIS. Despite the characterization of the media of this event, facts on the ground totally point to different direction. Manbij is controlled Syrian Democratic forces or the Kurds dominated YGP. While there American patrol men targeted, there was a meeting between American service men and the Kurd's in this specific restaurant which could only be known by the Kurds and their leadership. Most Turkish intelligence services and otters in the region believe that this explosions to be the tactics of those who want to stop or delay the American withdrawal from Syria. Why would ISIS collaborate with those who want to stop the American withdrawal? Unless ISSIS it self is a franchise that is controlled by others especially the fat boys of the gulf. Turkey as the second largest standing army of NATO and their allies the free Syrian Army will take care of ISIS and company. Trump will get his wish of eliminating ISIS and Turkey will control huge land of Syria to force the Syrian dictator for settlement. This will not be the first time the Turkish army faces both the American armed YPG and Deash. During the East Euphrates Shield campaign , they cleared thousands of square miles from the militants which took three months. Unlike the coalition forces which relies on air campaign and indiscriminate bombings, the Turks and their allies went house to house to clears these towns. 80% of these towns are intact. Mr. Trump and company will witness soon the power of Turkey to crush ISIS which will make northern Syria save for the displaced civilians to come back. Erdogan is negotiating with other countries to help build the Syrian communities in the save zones and spare Europe and others from the influx of refugees. While Turkey is preparing for northern Syria and specifically the main town of Manbij, the terrorist group called Tahriiru Sham had expanded their attack in to the Idlip deescalation zone created by Turkey and Russia. Having received money and weapons from the gulf , these radical groups are attacking the main opposition Syrian group supported by Turkey. Turkish reports indicate that as soon as the Manbij issue is resolved the Tahriir Sham groups will be wiped out for good. Despite his tough talk, Trump is becoming an antiwar president. He is clearing the mess created by the evil neoconservatives and the neo-liberal order that is well known to be interventionists. The tactics of these two groups might be different , yet the outcome is always disaster. Both Obama and Bush had created wars that has destroyed the middle east and killed millions of innocent people. President Trump also showed to be a tough president is willing the American war hawks who only create disaster where ever they touch. He confronted American generals for not fixing the Afghanistan quagmire after 17 years. Who knows, the world might Trump to rule few more years.
  10. While Kulmiye has base that had voted for him last time around, most of the men that had helped him during the campaign are out and angry. The opposition will not only get his main voters of the last election , but also might expand more. Wadani has to go only up. Furthermore, a new parliament dominated by the opposition will be bad news. They could challenge his budgets and other moves. For Biixi , the status quo is what he wants. Besides, while he is still angry about the way the opposition treated him after the election, he doesn't want any thing gives the opposition more power.
  11. The biggest obstacle to hold the municipal and parliament elections in Somaliland is The UCID party and its chairman Faysal Cali Waraabe. It is clear like the water. In order to keep the election from taking place Faysal Waraabe has been playing a game of chicken on both the ruling Kulmiye and the main opposition Wadani party. His erratic behavior and moving of the goal post from left and right had confused many people in Somaliland including me. I was one of those duped by Waraabe more than once. Last time I saw him engaging Somali issues and other important issues neglected by Kulmiye, and mistakenly, I called him the man of the hour or worse the main shaker of politics in Somaliland. I thought he was serious about elections and reform. Most of all I thought he would be acting like a natural opposition party that calls to account the ruling party. All that moves were smoke screen and an effort to delay the election and confuse people. Almost everyone in Somaliland thinks of him as a joke. Time is against UCID and chairman Faysal Waraabe. I have no doubt that if an election is held in Somaliland, it will finish off UCID and Faysal for good. In the last election , he got 5% of the vote. 90% of that vote was from his home town of South Hargeisa. He got only 500 votes in Awdal thanks to deputy leader C/nasir Buuni and his campaign. This time around he might not even get a hundred. He has zero support in Bebera, Sanaag, Awdal, Hargeisa city, except the Sand Dwellers South Hargeisa. He got few votes from Sool because of the young running mate INa Abyan who hails from Laascaanood. If election is held UCID could be wiped from the parliament other than two or three from South Hargeisa. Last time around , it was the financial help and efforts of Jamaal Cali Huseen and C/rashiid Hassan Mataan that saved UCID from being eliminated. They got huge votes that made them among the top three from Awdal, Saaxil, Hargeisa and Todheer, and he repaid by colluding with Kulmiye after he has been bought by the Djibouti family. Who knows the charismatic Jamaal could have been an alternative to Biixi and Cirro. This time around there will be no one to prop up the chairman and his own business called UCID. Some people believe that in order for UCID to survive Faysal might sell his business to the highest bidders , possibly some one from east Burco community. Even those who would have purchased the party worry that he might renege his promise and litigate them. Some people I talked to say that in order for Somaliland to hold elections and get the opposition it deserves, we must kill and finish off UCID for good. I urge the Wadani party to fight hard and eliminate this party from the political stage in order to wage clean and credible campaign. Even Kulmiye who needs real opposition party to challenge must kick this carpet beggar to the curb. In fact , some Kulmiye operatives had attacked him so hard , and had forced him to shut up and join the government program. They got the secret. Faysal can't take a bunch of public scolding, so I urge the Wadani leadership to attack him and expose his fraud. I do not know why Kulmiye is afraid of appointing new election commissioners. If these are impartial civil servants changing them and reassigning them wouldn't be a big deal unless they are people who were put their to do mischief and the bidding of the government . Also, it is imperative to amend and modernize the methods these commissioners are appointed. The best solution is to allow every party to appoint three NEC officials. The idea of allowing the president to appoint 2 and then add some more through his party and the Guurti is unacceptable.Make the commission nine as proposed by the opposition and each party must nominate three. The ruling Kulmiye should not be worried about elections whether it is parliament or municipal. Unlike Ucid, the ruling party has a base that will vote for them regardless of the size and they shouldn't drag the idea of holding election. Yet, the first order of the day for all is to hold these elections and bury UCID and it's charlatan Faysal Waraabe. This week a rising star in the party , deputy chair C/naasir Buuni had resigned after Faysal objected the idea of agreeing with the other opposition and holding elections. Faysal usually picks young and inexperienced people for fake posts like deputy, chair, youth leader, secretary or other insignificant posts. He doesn't have a leadership council or an executive that debates the positions of the party takes on major issues like election. Unfortunately, Mr. Buuni kept talking about holding elections which could eliminate Faysal Waraabe from stage. Buuni was willing to stand up to Faysal on elections, ethics and the interest of his base and constituency. Unlike Faysal, Buuni has a good future in politics for years to come. Here is Buuni the UCID deputy talking about the inability of the leader to take stand on issues. Somaliland needs to hold the municipal elections and open the political process for new players. The international donors must hold this renegade party and its chairman to be accountable and call him out as spoiler who throws unnecessary obstacles which deny the people their legitimate rights. The Somaliland parliament had passed already a resolution that calls the disbanding of the local mayors who had done nothing meaningful for seven years including collecting garbage from the streets. The time has come to eliminate the double talking Faysal Waraabe from the stage.
  12. Good move. We need her help from the overreaching UN and others . Che, Did she really said those things about Graham? By the way this Graham guy is a neocon who calling for war for all this years. He barks too much , but can't bite Trump who is not intimidated that easily.
  13. Hormuud pays taxes to Al-Shanahan like most Mogadishu business, but that doesn’t give the Kenyans the green light to bomb private Somali business within the Somali republic. They took a buffer Zone in Jubba and bombing the rest like Gedo daily for years. This Kenyans must leave Somalia. They invaded Somalia when there was no Al-Shabbelle attacks within Kenya because a Kenyan by the name Obama became US president and they wanted to take advantage and cash in. After eight years nothing has changed. some people estimate that Kenya had lost almost 91% of the foreign tourism business since the take over of Jubba land. For the excuse to stop Al-Shabbelle stacks within Kenya proper. On the other hand, the tourism industry was replaced by UN business. Nairobi became the third busiest UN hub after New York and Geneva, Swiserland. They are making more money than any tourist would bring. They are supplying Congo, Siuth Sudan, Somalia and between. Every Somali member of parliament spends at least three weeks in Nairobi; their airports and aviation industry is filled with U.N. planes. This thing is the best thing that happen to Kenya for the last seven years. Omly a fool would stop this huge U.N. industry .Somalia is where $4 billion a year is spent, and most of that is spent in Nairobi.
  14. Apophis, i did not said anything about Somalis in Kenya. My criticism is about Madoobe and those surrounding him which are paid and armed by Kenya. besides, why do you assume that the only Somalis who live in Kenya are OG. There are millions of Somalis from G...Re, Deg...d, and others who live from Wajeer to Mandheera. as Dabarow said, at the moment the Jubba is buffer zone for Kenya. No debate about that.
  15. Tilamook,I apologize. I have no intension of generalizing and it is not correct to demonize the loyal Somalis of Jubba (OG) who are patriots like everyone else. They fought and cleared the Jubba from Al-Shabaab which made Kismaayo peaceful. I should probably have said that we need an OG nationalist who is anti Kenyan. The thing is Ahmed Madoobe faith is connected with the Kenyan army and he might follow what ever they do.
  16. Here is my opinion about Jubba. I do believe for security and national unity reasons , the Jubba region must be headed other than Non Madoobe clan at this stage of Somali being unstable. When the country becomes safe and stable anyone regardless of clan could lead. But, at this crucial time it is a national risk for Ahmed Madoobe people to lead Jubbaland. They are backed by a foreign power and God forbid if war of national territory breaks between Kenya and Somali, the Ahmed Madoobe people will probably fight beside the Kenyans against Somalia. You need A Somali clan that isn't loyal to Kenyans in Jubba. It could be anyone: Reer Gedo, Water Maaal people or even the Harti group. Maadama ay yihhin Reer dhabarka Saaraya Kenyaatiga waxa ay khater ku yihiin jiritaanka dalka iyo xuduudihiisa. Some people from Madoobe clan even wanted to name the region Azania in order to eliminate the known Somali name and eventually separate from the republic. Dadka raba in ay Soomaliya ka go'aan Somaliland keliya ma ahan ee qolya kale ayaa jira. I welcome anyone who could refute my insinuations or has different take on this issue.
  17. We might swallow but, we need some answers. "Gaalka ugu Modow haddii uu yahay ha loo dhiibo, 4.5 aa na dishaye" this statement was made by a fool named Jeesow. If that is the case and the bank governor doesn't belong to any tribe, why not appoint a Ugandan or German prime minister to lead the nation. Where is the debate. It was introduced today and passed the same day without even a debate. Maybe Dhagax Tuur is right. Maybe an ultimatum was given to them, " do this or you are finished". Khatar aan ku jirnaa ee hashan ha la boobsiiyo. THere are four important jobs that must remain in the hands of the nations for security and liberty reasons. 1-Chief of the armed forces 2-supreme courts 3-parliament 4 -Bank governor. On another note, it is all about the school of thought that someone belongs. Personally, I can't accept that as a grown man who is not a child, sick or handicapped that someone want to feed me and baby sit me for generations. If my people are starving or had difficulty to sustain life, the only way out is work, build and work more. Cultivate the agriculture , build electric grids for power, build roads in order for people to trade and connect. That is how the poorest Asian rice farmers of yesterday got out of poverty. If you want to help, build things that improve life. I can't accept where 75%of the money is spent in hotels, conference rooms and airlines. Why would someone want to feed and babysit grown men? it doesn't happen in Asia , Latin America or other places where poor people live. Why it is becoming normal for grown men and women to be fed by foreign governments and their system. They are spending billions yet there is no one single electric grid, fishing port or 10 kilometer of road. Much weaker nations had overcome bigger problems than Al-Shabaab or tribal anarchy. We have leaders who had accepted that they bcan't do anything without foreign aid and foreign mind. Look at Afghanistan. America had spent $2 Trillions for the last 16 years and no end in sight. If our President is under pressure and can't implement his agenda due to foreign pressure and other issues, he must share with the Somali people.Afar sano ka hor waxaanu ku lahayn Hassan Sheikh , " Waar Cabdi Illey iyo dad kale inta aad taageero ka raadsanayso, Yaa Soomaaliyaay dheh oo Awooda dadka Soomaaliyeed Isticmaal" If he is under trust-ship which doesn't allow him to fulfill his duties, then he must share with us before it is too late. Everyone is talking about buying time, yet for Farmaajo it is now or never. He must also confront the Mogadishu quagmire sooner than later or he will leave office just as he came. Maybe the time has come to think differently. C/raxman Bayle and company are deeply involved to this IMF thing which pave the way for this. He and Khayre are cooking these things which led to this NGO gut to take over the national bank.
  18. Duufaan, that unswer was for Asad saying Nigel would help. now to respond to your statement i would welcome IMF and other coaching Somalia. They can consult us and guide us since they are providing some financial and helping us get rid of the old debts My beef is a man who has zero experience in banking has been given the most important financial institution of the country. There are secrets that pertains how you want to conduct your future economic plans and challenges. Somalis who are holding high positions are citizens not an NGO guy
  19. Because he is “Cadaan “ he is going to improve things? My friend Nigel is not a banker or economist , he is one of those milking Somalia from Nairobi. in Somaliland one dollar was 6000Shillings. I was in Kampala and one dollar was exchanged for 3600-4000 Dhillings. There are experts who can help how to peg your currency’ to the dollar or create knew ways floating the Shilling. Few years back there was an American currency expert who helped Argentina control the inflation and stabilize their currency. Furthermore, if this guy is expert you can hire him as consultant to the bank. Taking over the national bank by the NGO and their overloads is unacceptable.
  20. Tallabo, The governor of British central bank or as they call” The Bank of England “ is both Canadian and British dual citizen. Before he became the head of that bank he was the governor of central bank of Canada. If you are looking experts then hire someone who has a banking experience, not an spy who goes from NGO to the other. No where in the entire world you have a foreigner signing the bank notes of any nation. Then again this is Somalia where the constitution which is the most guarded national treasure is written and managed by foreign NGO. This people would give everything just to make a few dollars. More than over hundred of the MPs are not present pm this session and the government loyalists and others been in the pockets of the government. Ever nation regardless of its security conditions print and manage their currency. You do not need the IMF permission to print your money. Waa hawl mudo badan la soo karinayey. Farmaajo iyo Koocdaan hadaynasn iska Qaban dalku faraheenu ka bixi.
  21. On the other hand Saudi system of closed society creates a lot of hypocrisy and force feeding of people. Some twenty years ago, A Somali scholar who was teaching in Saudi Arabia explained to an audience the hypocrisy of the system. He said, the Muslim women in the west wear the Hijab by their choice and freedom unlike most Saudis. He said when the airplane took of from Jeddah airport a large number of the women made a line up to the bathroom.
