  1. For this conflict to come to an end, the HAG militia should vacate Middle Shabeele and leave its peaceful citizens alone. Without first ordering the HAG militia to leave Middle Shabeele, Culusow is just being another pathetic clan warlord.

Lol:eek:
  4. DoctorKenney;990936 wrote: Tallaabo, this is because there are Hadiths which outright forbid it. The Companions of the Prophet forbade it. And the 4 Madhabs and the thousands of Sheikhs over the last 14 centuries unanimously condemned it. So yes, I do believe it's not permitted. What are these Hadiths?

It's such a basic and weak argument, that it doesn't require any thinking . How could you refute the reasoning of those sheikhs who say homosexuality is permitted in Islam without thinking? You are implying that you just follow the herd. DoctorKenney;990788 wrote: The vast majority of scholars, men such as Ibn Taymiyyah, Qayyim, Abdul Wahhab, and even contemporary Sheikhs like Albaani and Al Uthaymeen and Al Munajjid state otherwise. But according to you, you want to overlook the vast examples stating otherwise and focus on a select few which confirm your bias. Pathetic. Just because a large number of today's Muslim scholars agree with the honest opinions of some eminent medieval scholars does not mean that what is agrees upon is necessarily correct.

  10. Minneapolis rental-hall owner dies from gunshot wound JOY POWELL Thursday, December 12, 2013 A 31-year-old Minneapolis businessman was shot in south Minneapolis early Wednesday and died about 12 hours later at Hennepin County Medical Center, police and a relative said. Police responded at 12:50 a.m. to a “shots fired” call in the 2600 block of Pleasant Avenue S. where officers found a man lying in the street with a gunshot wound. Authorities were not releasing the man’s name, but relatives identified him as Fuad Ali, a married Somali father of two boys younger than 4, with another child expected soon. A relative said that he owned two halls along Lake Street that he rented out for weddings and community events. The newest acquisition, in the area of the Karmel Mall, was not far from the shooting scene, said a cousin, Hinda Ali of Minneapolis. No arrests had been made as of Wednesday evening. The Minneapolis Police Homicide Unit is investigating, and police said they don’t yet have any information on a suspect. Cyndi Barrington, a police spokeswoman, said it is too early yet for investigators to have determined a motive. “We have no idea what happened,” Hinda Ali said from Hennepin County Medical Center, where she was Wednesday evening with family members, including Fuad Ali’s father. She said Fuad Ali had immigrated about a decade ago from Somali and loved being in America. He went to the University of Minnesota and was well known in the community for hosting events and helping charities, Hinda Ali said. “He was a businessman and created jobs in this city. He was living the American dream. He was a college graduate from the University of Minnesota. He opened his own businesses and was making a great living,” she said. “For somebody who leaves their own country and is starting up somewhere new, that is an immigrant’s dream. He did all of that, and his life got taken away from him, just like that. He’s stripped away from his little boys and all that.” Fuad Ali and his wife were excited about their third child, as well as the opening of their second rental hall a couple of months ago, Hinda Ali said. He had licensed his first restaurant and rental hall, Lakeview Hall at 417 Lake St., in April, city records show. Ali had agreed at that time to provide security when more than 50 guests were at the hall. Police ask that anyone with information about the slaying call 911 or text tips to 847 411, enter MPD and any information. Tipsters can remain anonymous. Joy Powell • 612-673-7750 StarTribune.com
  11. London has been so foggy in the last couple of days. I love the early morning winter fog at the large parks or in the countryside. Its marvellous to watch leafless oak trees appear from the foggy distance; and when you get closer you see birds flying around it and squirrels jumping from branch to branch. The whole environment appears mysteriously beautiful. Its no wonder why such scenes inspired artists to paint the surroundings and great poets to compose poems about nature. Subxaanallah, Allah's creative power is awesome.

  20. Wednesday, December 11, 2013 South Africa’s deaf community on Wednesday accused the sign language interpreter at Nelson Mandela’s memorial of being a fake, who had merely flapped his arms around during speeches. “He’s a complete fraud,” Cara Loening, director of Sign Language Education and Development in Cape Town. “He wasn’t even doing anything, There was not one sign there. Nothing. He was literally flapping his arms around.” The interpreter, who translated US President Barack Obama’s speech, looked as if he was “trying to swat a few flies away from his face and his head”. “The deaf community in South Africa are completely outraged and nobody knows who he is,” said Loening. “We can’t find a name or anything. The organisations who have accredited interpreters do not know him at all.” The government organisers of the event, as well as broadcaster SABC could not immediately be contacted. Attended by nearly 100 sitting and former heads of state, the speeches at Mandela’s memorial on Tuesday were supposed to be interpreted into sign language for deaf viewers. Delphin Hlungwane, a spokesperson for the Deaf Federation of South Africa, said the man picked for the job was “just gesturing in the air”. “He didn’t interpret at all, he had zero percent accuracy,” he said. “International people were watching it as well and they all said he was not using any kind of sign language. They all said they don’t understand him,” said Hlungwane. Loening said her organisation was getting mails from around the world “wondering what on earth this man was doing there”. “It’s a real embarrassment. Its complete disrespect for the deaf community and for what Nelson Mandela stood for and the support which he gave toward he deaf community.” The government communications office said a statement would be put out shortly. The country’s public broadcaster, which provided the feed of the event, could not be immediately reached. Source: AFP
  21. "Perhaps Somalia, and the international community, should be encouraging these areas to share these governance lessons with the rest of the country, rather than force them to bow to the authority of a government in Mogadishu that has contributed so much to Somalia's malaise." When I say cadaans are najjas, I mean it, so next time you shake his hand, you better wash it seven times. So according to you Muslims can not be white. All the white people are non Muslim. All the black or coloured people are clean. All those with coloured skin are Muslim. Its ok to type this insult from the comfort of a warm home built and given to you by a man whose dirty hand you can't shake in greeting.
