2. I wonder what is in the mind of this young man!! How could he go into a place and simply start shooting the people there who have done nothing to him and knows nothing about? What has Alshabaab told young men like him to brainwash them to such a grave extent? I think we need an in-depth study of Alshabaab's tactics of recruiting its foot soldiers.
3. @Alpha Blondy said: that's funny. OMG he made her look like Hitler.
4. In Somali clan classification, bullshitter belongs to the clan Afkiimaal and the liar belongs to the clan Beenmaal.
5. @Holac said: Why not call for peace? Naga daaya dagaalka. U sheeg ninyow. It is people like Mooge living in peace in Kikuyuland who are praying for war and mayhem. These shameless people have no families, friends, or relatives in the places they want to turn into a warzone so care less about who is going to suffer.
6. @Mahiigaan said: II don't condone this old age tradition but my worries will be the day these dimwitts tell us: stop discriminating against lesbos and gays. FGM is phase one, be tuned to phase two or gay rights. Yes you should stop discriminating against the lesbians and gays. The real dimwits are not those who fight for social reform and progress; its those who feel discriminating others on the basis of race, gender, colour, sexuality, faith, tribe, and nationality is acceptable.
7. @Safferz said: PS - this isn't for you Alpha, just to make this clear given your tendency to misinterpret my posts The Wikipedia link made me laugh lol
8. Please Carafaat stop inflating Alpha's already monumental ego.
9. @Ciidansuldaan, you have an anger issue ninyow. Don't you realise that the Sool and Sanaag clans you are always attacking are the uncles, aunts, fathers, mothers, cousins, inlaws, husbands, wives, siblings, neighbours, and friends of your own clan? Don't be blinded by hate and tribalism for your own sake.
10. @Holac said: What impressed me is how the opposition that overthrew him is guarding the palace. In Africa, looting would have decimated even the roof. Indeed that is the case with the third world peoples. Remember how the Iraqis looted and trashed Saddam's palaces after the American army entered Baghdad and how the Egyptians looted and destroyed their world class museums and libraries during the uprising against Mubaarak.
11. @Alpha Blondy said: isqor bila liis. you aint from Hawd, you little qaloocite. you're from daanta beesha habar qalooc. Beesha Habar qalooc have a stake in Hawd you little mountain dwelling primate.
12. @Mooge said: tallaabo, i understand people got killed and xasuuq ba shacab lagu sameyey and it was a terrible dictator who killed innocent people, but when will this mashruuc for gravedigging stop? it is making the people of somaliland look bad niyoow. it never stops. today they dig valleys, tomorrow they will dig mountains. we can even expect someone to suggest we see what is buried under the sea. somaliland needs to move on. grave digging till eternity is not going to get somaliland any recognition. Mooge this programme of locating and excavating the mass graves of Somaliland is not about seeking recognition but we are simply fulfilling our Islamic duty to give the victims of the genocide a decent Islamic burial. You and the other Southern Somalis may find it difficult to understand our obsession with justice, but in Somaliland we have a culture of attaching great value to human life.
13. @SomaliPhilosopher said: Interesting insight Tallaabo. appreciate it. where is the new poet haven you would say? Or such places are extinct I think today's centres of Somali poetry are the major urban areas with significant Somali populations in and outside the Horn of Africa.
14. I think it is good to have photographs, voice recordings, and video footages of dead relatives and friends. Watching their photos and videos or listening to their voices would bring back memories of our time with them and induce us to pray for their soul. Mooge, reading dead SOLer's posts is just like reading a dead author's books.
15. Tarzan told the truth. The people of Mogadishu have gone through untold hardship but have managed to survive. They have a great inner strength and a hope for a better tomorrow. I beg Allah to help them overcome their problems and see light at the end of this long dark tunnel.

17. A mere six years and a lot of the people in the video are dead!! That is sad. Ilaahay dhamaantood ha u naxariisto. Indeed our life in this world is very short.
18. @Safferz said: Ay Tallaabo, I didn't know you were a fellow Hawdian My mum is from there dear.
19. Horta AlShabaab yaa baas oo lacagta siiya???
20. ^^ Horta maxaa kaa siya ninyow. Dagaal iyo aflagaado aan loo baahnayn ayuunbaad marwalba lasoo taagantahay ee wax isku fal.
21. @SomaliPhilosopher said: There is a particular draw to hawd; its the poet haven It WAS a poet heaven long time ago around the time of the European colonial rule but not now. I lived in Hawd countryside for about three years when I was a kid and have fond memories of its incredibly lush and beautiful landscape. However, that region suffered prolonged droughts and environmental degradation and is now almost a desert. A lot of nomads left their way of life behind and moved into the villages, towns, and cities. Others took advantage of the agricultural programmes promoted by the Jigjiga administration and settled down to become farmers. Even the once feuding sub-clans of the OG and Habro were forced by necessity to corporate for their survival and as a result now wander freely into each other's territories even sharing their water in difficult times.
22. @Alpha Blondy said: agreed. balse you can't reconfigure the country to benefit your folks. Somalilanders are too politicised and tribalistic to allow any clan gain such advantages. Every makhaayad in the land which is basically a political/tribal debating society would go into a meltdown if "my folks" made such an attempt.
