@CidanSultan said: Mooge...talk is cheap and that's the only thing your lot have had in abundance. Even till day you sit there with your bulls?'d stories. In the real world Mooge I own las canod, I own las korey 18 and 23 miles away from both your main villages and there is nothing you can do about it. Why debate with a Swahili servant who boasts and takes pride in carrying the shoes of UN staff in naiborbi hahaha... Becauase that's where the money is apparently Hahahaha... What a funny man... Saxib after all these years it's amazing you and your lot still talk... " you have no recognition" Hahahaha... Do I own the land... Yes Does the world treat me differenly then the rest of Somalia....yes Do I have the largest standing army and most stable prosperous state ... Yes Hahaha... Who needs recognition I own your a£& without it. Hahaha You never get tired of "I own this and I own that" bullsh!t don't you? The truth is you own nothing. Laascaanood and Laasqoray belong to their respective proud inhabitants and a fellow like you from South Hargeisa cannot set foot in those towns without the goodwill of the locals. You can't fool anyone mate.

@Mooge said: after all the bloodshed and killing in Buuhoodle by the SNM, this stooge says he will sit down with SNM ragtags. loool. we told you so. You are a liar. The government of Somaliland or the larger 'SNM' clan had nothing to do with the unfortunate bloodshed in the Buuhoodle area. It was a feud between two local clans in the area over grazing land and water wells which spiralled out of control and was brought to an end by the army; and like the countless clan feuds in Somaliland's long history, this one was also solved amicably.

Unity was tested and it failed us; so using commonsense, disunity is the way forward for the Somali people. At least with official disunity we can be save from each other. I believe it is in the interest of both Puntland and the Six States of the South to declare independence from Mogadishu.

I like Christain schools they are very disciplined. I attended one and loved it, even their gospel music(which is so wrong).

I think the guy should be left alone to live his life the way he wants it. For goodness sake he is just a politician and a public servant not a saint.

The Humiliation continues Somali Military officer arrested by Ethiopians
Tallaabo replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
What sort of revolution needs to happen xaaji? We have already seen democratic revolution, communist revolution, anarchist revolution, tribal revolution, Islamist (not Islamic) revolution, and now we are in the middle of Bantu brotherhood revolution. As we can see non of these revolutions worked. I think the only untested revolution is a feminist revolution. Such a female driven revolution could be the saving grace for Somalis; after all women are the bridges between different clans. -
@Che -Guevara said: By the way, The Government might not have built anything in Ceelweyn and Buhoodle, but it didn't build anything in Garbahaarey, Beled Hawo, Caabudwaaq or any village inhibited by Barre's own sub-clan let alone his tribe. Any grievances based on lack of development is rather false. That is one of the universal truths about Siyaad Barre. Like most other dictators of the world, he cared only about the capital and ignored the rest of the country. After all, the capital is where he entertained his visiting fellow tyrants. Another universal truth about him is, he was more pragmatic and daring than almost any other leader we have seen to date. When he saw a social issue he confronted it outright. Other dictators might turn a blind eye about social issues which could threaten their rule, but Siyaad Barre cared little about anyone. Some examples of his ruthless approach was the banning of khat, the resettlement of the northern nomads in the South after the terrible drought of the seventies, the resettlement of refugees from the Kililka shanaad in Somaliland, the introduction of fishing to the nomads, the mass literacy campaign carried out nationwide, the introduction of communism, and most controversially the changes he made to the traditional family laws of the society. I think the SNM should have persuaded him diplomatically to change course in the early years of the eighties instead of putting him in a corner and threatening his rule.

I failed to see the threats president Siilaanyo sees comings from Somalia. The government should stop making these ridiculous statements and concentrated on sorting out the political and economic mess in Somaliland. Creating jobs and reforming the political institutions of the country is what Siilaanyo was elected for, not unnecessarily beating the war drums.

@SomaliaRising said: A Good day to buy Toiletpapers with the colours of snm flag, and to clean my garden. 18 May Worldwide Cleaning Day haha That is a positive thing indeed. Just as this historic day cleaned Somaliland of its unwanted pests, it can also clean your house of live-threatening germs which has been building up all the time whilst you were busy fighting a futile online war against XX and Cidansultan.

@Homunculus said: Well, I guess we're all Somalilanders now "Somalilander" is a meaningless word and does not describe the identity of the people of Somaliland. We are just Somalis with a different political structure to that of Somalia and Djibouti.

@Carafaat said: both MP's are called Is****. Xaaji, its clear who is being hunted down. Its just their names and not their clan but anyway if they are indeed from Somaliland then no one is to blame here but the victims. They knew the risks in Mogadishu and they took it. Alle ha u naxariisto dadkaa dhimanaya oo dhan.

xaaji, the confederation supreme court will use the Somaliland constitution and law when dealing with cases originating from Somaliland.

This is what I think should and shouldn't be shared: 1. Government- no way(the koonfurians can share it with Uganda and the Kikiyus) 2. Economy- I have seen it already, no more booliqaran. 3. Currency- no thank you very much, keep your fake printed paper with you. 4. Airspace- bring it to Hargeisa. 5. Natural resources- keep what is your and I will keep what is mine. 6. Military and security- on my dead body. 7. A head of State( just a ceremonial one)- no problem, give it to the former transitional president of Mogadishu sheikh Sharif sheikh Ahmad . He is a nice chap and can globethrotte for us. 8. Public services- should never be in the hands of someone else so will not be shared. 9. Immigration and border control- Somalis should be free to live wherever they want in the Horn, so I have no problem with it. We can also combat the influx of the Oromo together. 10. Foreign policy- we can share embassy buildings in foreign capitals to save money, we can also harmonise our foreign policy to reflect our shared interests. We may also share passports provided it is properly controlled. 11. Intelligence- we can share it. 12. Flag- the blue flag can represent the confederation of Somaliland and Somalia if Somalia adopts its own different flag to represent their region so each region can hoist two flags like the European Union. 13. A supreme court- yes, it should be based in Hargeisa if the ceremonial head of state is based in Mogadishu. 14. A senate- Somalia has got no senate so should have one. Then Somaliland guurti and the Somalia senate will have joint sessions to discuss important matters for both entities. 15. Italian influence- koonfuria can have it all.

I think the efficiency of the Warka system can be improved a lot more by introducing a low cost, solar or wind powered refrigeration which increased the temperature difference between the mesh and the air.

I don't have a major problem with the formation of a loose confederation between Somaliland and Somalia so long as nothing is shared between the two except a toothless head of state and some un-important foreign policy issues. An internationally supervised referendum is actually what Somaliland has been looking for all this time, but the time given should be a hell lot shorter. Also, Somaliland should never ever agree to the sharing of military as the koonfurians can't be trusted with such an important issue like our security. Any such agreement should result in the impeachment of the president and the annulment of such a farce.

@SomaliaRising said: i love maamulka Waqooyi Galbeed Please don't call in cidansultan and your other fellow trolls. Akhaati billaahi ayaanu idinka taagannahay.

Cidansultan can be a good teacher when he is not high on anti-d block drugs!! I like how Saalax is being taught the abc of good politics. How sad it is to see a man whose entire political philosophy is nothing more than counting the number of ministers in a largely useless cabinet.

Since when did SOL trolls become the representatives of the Somali people?

@SomaliPhilosopher said: ^^Mansoor is a fine establishment but its internet is rubbish! It is not just Maansoor, the whole country has a very bad internet connection. But I think all the major cities and towns in Somaliland will have fiber optic connection by the end of this year if they don't delay it yet again.
