1. @SomaliaRising said: Like i said LAANGAAB ON LAANGAAB violence. That is funny
2. @SomaliaRising said: This guy is innocent. Why is SNM so scared to capture Morgan and Maslax? They go after minority. Laangaab going after laangaab haha Its not the SNM who are suing Samatar, but few of his many victims. The SNM heroes did not go after individuals following their victory and they are now graciously retired members of the public. If Morgan goes to a civilised country where there is law and order, I am sure some of his victims will sue him too.
3. @SomaliPhilosopher said: Haven't watched the videos but I can say it was not a wise decision for these elders to be sent to Hargeisa. Not wise at all for the union plight. It is easy to scream union from Mogadishu or from your qurbajoog home. But it is not so easy when you are in Hargeisa. You realize the success of the Somaliland cause. You realise gunshots and grenades are not common in all of Somali lands. You realize these people had peace for the past twenty years while you lived amidst war. You realize a functioning government exists in the northern lands. You realize these people live in a different reality. You realize they sing a different song. You realize they wave a different flag. You see local governance. You see grassroot development. You realize your government is weak and has nothing to offer these people. Out of Somalinimo you are taken a step back and have yourself questioning your unionist views. Soon you find yourself at a May 18 party. This is the fate of a Somali nationalist. Hassan Sheikh should have known this. For he is not a nationalist and could not see such forthcomings. Instead he should have delayed such visits and encamp the elders within Konfuria and have them scream union from their makeshift homes barricaded by idealism and 1985 picture of Hargeisa. He was to shield the elders and the Konfurian populace from the light that beems from the Woqooyi. Sunglasses for everyone, and not the ones from China! A mistake Hassan has made. True nationalists are in short supply within the Somali community. A true nationalist would work for the success and progress of his/her people regardless of the political methods to achieve such an outcome.
4. @Hawdian said: You and your Pathetic War-criminal uncles will be taken down like animals you are be rest assured about that. General Samatar is a war-criminal of the worst class and should be in jail for the rest of his life . Also his family should be stripped of their US citizenship as they all got their papers on false ground. I wouldn't worry about his war-criminal kin as they have been and will always finish each other without our help. I would just encourage them occasionally to be more efficient with the culling process.
5. The US Supreme Court should be asked to summon the Somalia governemnt for questioning as part of the trial. Deplomatic immunity can't be applied to the Mogadishu administration as it is not sovereign but a colony of AMISOM.
6. @Xaaji Xunjuf said: Miyir i am shocked you dont defend the war criminal like most your kin do ? Someone should tell him "tolkaa dhan ka raac"
7. @Miyir said: $8million plus for presidential place bureaucracy and another 2million plus for presidential guards ? must be fun place to work! What they categorise as "the presidential palace funds" is actually money used by the presidents of Somaliland for various important national secirity and political issues. I would turn a blind eye to that part of the budget
8. @galbeedi said: Ahmed Diiriye and Dahir Xaad, the two leading members of the " Odayaasha Dhaqanka HAG" have shown to be tough and principled. They stood against A/laahi Yusuf, they confronted Shariif Ahmed and even challenged some of the Jubba policy of Hassan Sheikh. Politely, they stated that they support the peace and progress in Somaliland, but they stick to their one nation stand. These men must be respected by their principle. What was their point of travelling to Somaliland in the first place if they can't stand our agenda?
9. @Tillamook said: I too am against the impeachment of President Culosow. Continuity is important. If Culusow has failed to lead then it should be because of his own incompetence instead of some naysayers in parliament, who lord knows are as useless as he is. This parliament in Somalia cannot pass a single legislation to build the necessary institutions of governance that our country so desperately needs, yet they want to blame Culosow because the government does not work well-- what utter rubbish. Culosow will stay! I agree with you on this. The removal of Culusow will just result in another round of clan pickering and political behind the curtain deals. Such interference in the government will only waste precious time and is not in the interest of the people of Somalia.
10. So the f@q@sh is still alive and well in Mogadishu? I learned that the American Zionist organisations and the Saudi governemnt sided with Samatar in fear of similar lawsuits against their own war criminals. This is turning out to be a very interesting case indeed.
11. @Tillamook said: Dear Admin, Okay, undestood, for future reference(pun intended!), I will use the following to reference the 4.5 constituents: Defeated Lot, Habro, Anarchists, Digir&Muufo, and the Macmacaan(I just made this one up) As for sub clans...we will have the Pirates of Puntland, the 'sii soco soo soco" association of Khaatumo, the Pedophiles or Marfashlanders of Somaliland, the Looters Inc. of Xamar, The Big Foots and Kacaan Clique of Jubaland and so on and so forth. What say you? You forgot to include the ditoore's "300k terrorists" title for the habro.
12. @Alpha Blondy said: on the contrary, i would respectfully disagree. it would appear you intentionally want to misinterpret my views and take them out of their original context. I would respectfully point out to SOL readers that your "views" have no context whatsoever
13. ^ I read these elders represent all the tribes of Somalia including yours. That is what these elders told the UCID party.
14. @Tillamook said: Saalax, sxb, mucaaradnimada raqiiska ah jooji ina Adeer! There is very little Silaanyo can do about getting recognition for Somaliland. I think when all is said and done, Silaanyo is very pragmatic to begin the slow tedious process of reprogramming the brainwashed folks of waqooyiga who for over 2 decades were being lied to. No recognition, no independence. Period! The sooner you accept this reality, the better for the collective mental health of habaraha waqooyiga. In the eyes of Silanyo and other pragmatic Somaliland politicians, time has come to pursue an alternative policy... a policy short of full blown independence, but one that can ensure that Somaliland retains a lot of autonomy within the politics of the Federal Republic of Somalia. For this alternative policy, Silaanyo views the Hapless HAG as natural allies against the D Bloc who were and still are the number one reason somaliland's seccessionist shenanigans have been nipped in the bud. And quite frankly, Habros WITHOUT recognition and HAG WITHOUT centralism make a perfect couple. A couple who need each other to combat the federalism tide that the D Bloc has used to secure political dominance in Somalia. Like I said in a different thread, the success of this confederacy policy that Hargaysa and Xamar want to push for will depend on how well they sell it to a majority of Somalis and how much support they can get for it from the countries that manage Somalia affairs. However, judging from the failure of the Habros in gaining international recognition for their secessionist cantrabaqash and the failure of HAG of imposing Central rule on Somalia,I wouldn't hold my breath! Forget about Somaliland as your 23 year envy and bacaac about its rise and success did nothing to stop us. I suggest your concentrate your efforts on finding out how you can share a country with the HAG and sort out your mess.
15. @Alpha Blondy said: this halal campaign is basically a giant Muslim conspiracy to Islamise the entire nation of the UK. the islamist terrorists have been using the PC-friendly media to generate hyperbole and medically dangerous advice to a diet-conscious nation of obese kuffars. it's rather pathetic, that food, which constitutes the most basic of all the human rights, is deemed 'haram' (islamist lingo for unclean), if it's not brutally killed with a big knife by an iman with a foreign accent. You sound like someone who left his faith like that infidel Ayaan Hirsi Ali.

17. @DoctorKenney said: Go on the Somaliland page on Facebook. Go on the SomalilandSun or other pro-Somaliland websites. Then read the comments... Wallahi you'll find countless pages of Reer-Waqooyi people trashing Somalia and the Koonfurians, laughing at whatever misfortune Somalia is undergoing, and constantly reassuring each other that Somalilanders are better than the Koonfurians. Wallahi it's actually sickening. On closer inspection you will find that the comments are actually posted by a few hardcore professional haters from all sides but mostly from Puntland for some reason. I would not give them any attention for they represent no one but themselves.
18. @DoctorKenney said: Exactly!! Even in Italy, you have differences between the Northern and Southern Italians. They speak in a different accent and they even LOOK different. Yet they share a nation. But the Reer Waqooyi really have a strong strong fetish for separation. It's what they dream about at night. It's what they discuss when they're talking to their White Classmate in America/Europe. If you were to ask an SNM guy his opinion about the future human exploration of Outer Space, he'd somehow change the topic of that conversation to how Somaliland should be independent. If you were to ask him who's gonna win the NBA Championship this year, he'd change the topic to Somaliland It's disturbing really Lol..you must have been to a psychiatric ward to have met all those crazy people doctorken. The Landers I know have quite an aversion to politics entirely and despise what the politicians in Somaliland do.
19. @Alpha Blondy said: i was think more gaal ismood. They can't be gaal-ismood. "You are either with us (gaalo) or with the terrorists (the badly dressed akhis)"
20. @Tillamook said: ^ Lol Habartii kuftaba ma Silaanyo baa ka dambeeyo miyaa sheekadu? Saalax, Silaanyo is a terrorist, I grant you that, but I don't believe he had anything to do with this sort of petty school hooliganism.. Its actually the other way round. We can accuse Siilaanyo of arming his sub-clan's school children with knives but we can't accuse him of terrorism
21. @galbeedi said: Who knows maybe they are Siilaanyo for help. Waar nimankan Afrikada ka soo shaqo tagay mishaarkooda $1500 doolar ah idinku qaata oo askar noo soo dira , Hadii Islaanimo iyo walaatinimo jirto. Jawaabta Siilaanyo, waxaan ka sugaynaa Ciidansuldaan. And then Ciidansuldan will say: I own Laascaanood, I own Laasqoray, I am 5 km from Garowe, I am a taako from Boosaaso, you are under by boots, you are a colony of Kenya and Uganda, you are pirates, you can't fight, your women are raped by Ethiopians.... (hang on, I am going to cut and paste more of his rubbish).
22. @DoctorKenney said: Considering that I'm a Northerner Somali who lives in America, it's a bit of a stretch for you to claim that I had anything to do with the Civil War and the resulting chaos. But what gives you the arrogance to paint all Somalis with one brush despite the fact that a small minority of thugs and thug-sympathizers have taken this country hostage for 25 years? Are you going to also mention your cousin Godane, who's done his fair share of damage in the South? Godane, who's probably the only real major obstacle to some sort of fragile peace in the country as of 2014? Get off your high horse mentality. Puntland is peaceful too. Why do you make it seem like Waqooyi is the ONLY peaceful region of the country?? You have a very simplistic view of the country aboowe. I'm from Lascaanod, and I don't view myself as better than anyone from the South at all. And arrogance will get you nowhere. About this "we don't need you, you need us" nonsense. Somaliland has proven that they have some of the best governing techniques in the country. They've built a government and civil society from scratch and that's very admirable. They should be a model for the rest of Somalis and we can all learn a lot from you, but instead you want to say "You guys are all thugs and pirates".....do you really think that's the best way to speak with someone? Speak with respect. I never disrespected you once, yet you're talking in such a manner and painting millions of people with one brush. You are talking to a pile of emotions and not a serious man.
23. @Alpha Blondy said: not only did he marry a half white woman but he's now giving qandaraasyo to timo-jilic terrorists. this man reeks of self-hatred. this doesn't surprise, lakinse. his kin has always sought external validation from others. Are you saying the galbeed folks are dabodhilif?
24. @Tillamook said: Doctor, you sir are a very capable educator. But alas you've been cursed with very daft students. Your reward is with God, so keep up the good work saaxiib. Lool. I like the good doctor but sometimes he can be a very repetitive lecturer. For goodness, how many times do I have to learn about the financial prowess of the metropolis in the east, the one and only Boosaaso?
