I respect this guy for denouncing his Canadian citizenship before going to war against the West. I mean he is much better than those countless bearded hypocrites who are reluctant to let go of their comfortable lifestyle in the West and yet spout constant hatred against their host societies. I am quite suspicious about these Arab terrorists and their motives. I think they are hiding behind religion to mask their nationalistic, racist ambitions and the naïve Somalis are being taken for a ride and used mercilessly. Have any of you SOLers seen an Arab religious fanatic mentioning the genocide of the Burma's Rohingya Muslims and the other equality ugly genocide in Central Africa? Why are those Somali terrorist fools always obsessed with Arab issues as if the Arabs are the only Muslims suffering in the world?

@Khayr said: I watched this movie a little while ago and was absolutely disgusted by its portrayal of Somalis. How the hell do you agree to be cast in a movie as a bunch of dark as hell, ugly and dumb adoons. For a bunch of dollars, they ended up denigrating Somalis as a bunch of idioatic apes. Here is the message that I got from the movie: - Somalis are "pirates". - Somalis are dull and very stupid. - Somalis are very unkempt and are messy. - Somalis make for some dumb criminals. "Come on over, the Somali elders are coming soon" said the marine (while sharpening their knives) - Somalis are thiefs because afte all the big white mans ships are in neutral waters (lines that they blur and realign - at their will). Meaning that when they are stealing from you, they are in "neutral waters". - The white man is very reasonable. - The Marines are always and I mean always (yankee side) justified to kill anyone and all in anywhere on this earth. - The white man is always smarter. The film makers portrayed Somalis just as they are. If the truth in the movie is too bitter for you then it is not the fault of Hollywood.

The Cameroon team played today like zoo animals on the loose. They disgraced themselves and disapointed their fans. I am supporting England.

The Importance Of Quran In The Life Of A Muslim
Tallaabo replied to Manahel.fatima's topic in General
^ LOL :-D I love your contribution to all things religion. Coming back to your argument, it is clear you did not understand what the "black" and "white" colours in the afore-mentioned verses mean. Clearly among those with "black" faces in the Day of Judgment will be many African and other black people and many of those with "white" faces will again be African and other black people. -
My preference: 1. English speaking Anglo-Saxons and Scandinavians 2. Jewish (especially Ashkenazi) 3. Other Western Europeans The East Asian cultures are too alien for me.

@galbeedi said: We all know after all these years "qabyaalad" is been nurtured in Hargeisa. Here you have a former cabinet minister in the middle of tribal tirade. "khamiisyo cadcadna way soo xidheen, Salaadi jimcahana way soo tukadeen Qabyaaladna makarafoonka ayey u qaateen". When I was in Hargeisa few years ago , I heard somebody say " sharcigu waa waxaan ka soo dagaalnay". The bigger issue is that certain groups or communities assumed they own the Kulmiye party and the government in general. yes, they have voted for the party, but that doesn't mean they own it. If you look back during Rayaale administration the west Hargeisa guys were 75% of government ministry directors , independent agencies, civil servants and the mi;itaey. one year before the election , they switched loyalty to Kulmiye. When Siilaanyo became the president, he gave them the most important ministries, like Finance, foreign , industry, education, and planing. If there is a job opening, people from Burco, Borama and Sanaag, can't spend months in Hargeisa to wait for an opening, so, these guys like HAG in Mogadishu, usually gets the government jobs. Through the system, they became the richest. Yet they complaining for more. Even if the leader tries to be just, those who became rich through patronage, will not allow him. When the world bank gave money for local private projects last year 70% of those who got the programs were them, because they were the managers. With all these perks , they still want more. I believe these ministries must be dispersed throughout the country. Take the livestock to Togdheer, agriculture and education to Awdal, fisheries to Berbera and so on. Otherwise , Hargeisa will became like mogadishu, a vacuum that sucks life from the other parts of Somaliland. Another issue in Somaliland is people do not understand the concept of policing and law enforcement. In order to keep Hargeisa for becoming another battle ground of the terrorists, doors must broken at night and suspects must be interrogated. Every where, anti terror raids are done either at down or art night to keep the elements of the surprise. They should know when it comes to rule of law no one is above the law whether your uncle is Ina Biixi or someone else. THey are complaining about the special anti terror unit RRU. these are their boys trying to keep them save, yet they keep talking about " guri nloo dhacay". I do not think President Siilaanyo has the backbone or toughness to enforce the law and tell these guys not tread a dangerous path. Peace. Nabad iyo caano. They crossed the line by attaching private citizen and his business. The good news is, I heard some members of that community denounced this latest action by Ina Xaashi and "Gadhcadayaasha". What about having an SFG and federal states in Somaliland? :-D

I think democracy is being tested to it's very limits in Somaliland where the accursed clan refuses to go away.

A Candid Conversation with President Hassan Sheikh
Tallaabo replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
@Peace Action said: In terms of security, Hassan Sheikh just announced that if Godane gives up and repents, then the government will forgive. That is hugh mistake. The leaders of al-shabaab terrorist organization needs to account and stand before a court of law for killings innocent people period. Why only Alshabaab? Surely there are many other warlords, bandits, war criminals, and politicians with blood on their hands roamimg the land undisturbed. -
@burahadeer said: crook hebeshas they claim so many beautiful Somali songs as Ethiopian oldies, inserting few Amharic words here & there It is fusion of cultures. I think in the coming decades, the Somalis and Ethiopians will mix a lot and learn to live with and tolerate one another. Although many Ethiopians are Christian like most Kenyans, our very close ethnicities makes integration a lot easier.

Koonfurians are forever looking to foreign powers for the silver lining in the dark social and political clouds hanging over them. America's foreighn policy changes with the occupant in the White House but the realities on the ground in the Horn of Africa will remain the same regardless of what ambassador Sherman wishes.

It is time Puntland introduced its own currency and managed its economy independently. Jubaland should then follow Pumtland's lead and take control of its finances.

Mr malistar, why don't you keep us updated with the progress your uncles are making in looting the properties of the peace-loving Somali people of lower shabeele? Surely neither professor Galaydh nor his khaatumo ragtag militia have lost any of their land or homes as a result of our army taking control of Taleex.

Should Somaliland win international recognition Press tv program
Tallaabo replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Professor Abdi Samatar was just peddling a pack of lies and got agitated when challenged by the presenter while the southerner with the horrendous moustache could not even speak English. -
My colleague who is from West Africa told me once that if the Europeans did not colonise Africa, today Africa would be home to very few large, strong, and stable countries built by strong conquering ethnic groups much like China and Russia.

@Dr_Osman said: malistar, we know who is in las anod, it is the same tribe, it aint snm. There isnt a genocide happening there, ppl homes aint being looted in broad daylight. The ppl of shabelle are united and fighting a moryan on a land grab who refuses to live peacefully as a resident in the region but rather wants to fight the locals. Have u ever seen IDPS do such things in the north, of course not. They are crazy nutts galgaduud folks. The issue of SSC is political sxb, u can spin it all u want but the reality of the matter is when u go to las anod u wont see an SNM in sight, it is locals against locals due to subclan issues among themselves, these guys if united is obvious what happened in buhodle just one sub sub clan can handle the SNM that is reality, let alone all of them together,, hargeisa wud be in danger, forget if PL joins it would be annihilation of SNM like they never saw. The only thing PL can do is hold a conference to reconcile the clans there and bring about a political solution among themselves. Comparing it to Marka is silly. We aint killing our own ppl, end of story. Politics change, death doesnt. U want us to minimize our population so we kill each other like u did in 88 and hence ur minimized today as far as numbers and that will never change for u, we are smarter then u bro. SSDF never risked its ppl like you did. We know politics can change but death doesnt and will have profound impact on your clan in the future, ask the eyl folks about that, they will tell u. The usual faan iyo fatoosh aside, you are right about the SSC issue. The Somaliland, Puntland, and Khaatumo feud is about pure politics and has nothing to do with land confiscation, daylight robbery, or clan hatred and domination. Such abominable acts of aggression and thuggery is alien to Northern Somali culture.

This is really sad. The HAG government in Mogadishu is using the money, weapons, and support given to them by the international community to subjugate and loot the properties of the D!r and other minority clans of the South. If the HAG owned SFG government does not stop this unacceptable aggression against the Somali people, then Somaliland and Djibouti should protest and ask the international community to investigate what is going on there.

The HAG are putting the last nail on the coffin of what was left of Somali unity, nationhood, and identity. What they are doing to the D!r clan in Shabeelaha hoose will come back to bite them in the @ss like a bad karma.

@galbeedi said: Last week it was Hawdian insulting and Jumping up for from a small cartoon by Amin Amir, now itis Alpha insulting a whole tribe to retaliate for small matter. , go to Hiiraan and most of the insults are coming from Somalilanders. Is this insecurity or just bad behavior. I thought after these many years Landers were self confident who can take a heat. It is strange, those who are loudest among Somalis in terms of debate and discussion , are also the first to agitate in any infraction. What you said is completely untrue and is probably wilful dishonesty on your part. Go to any Somali website and the first people to throw all sorts of meaningless insults are the non Duriyad. What you see from the Duriyad ciyaalsuuq is just a reaction to the torrent of abuse we get all the time from all corners.
