1. Beheaded by the barbaric terrorists just because he held an American passport.
2. @CidanSultan said: Christians are not being persecuted, Yazidis ran away before is got their Killed by ISIS for helping Muslim children in refugee camps.
3. @DoctorKenney said: Allah’s Apostle said, “If you hear the news of an outbreak of an epidemic (plague) in a certain place, do not enter that place: and if the epidemic falls in a place while you are present in it, do not leave that place to escape from the epidemic .” (Book #86, Hadith #103) Let's just hope that our friends in West Africa manage to keep control of this illness and to limit travel between the Ebola-plagued nations. Plagues are much easier to control when it's localized. The last thing we want to see is Ebola in East Africa, South Africa, India, South America, etc. All it takes is one person to spread it This Hadith came into my mind when I read Khayr's comment. Knowingly spreading an epidemic to an unaffected area is a mass murder.
4. Despite your obvious anti-SNM views your analysis of the political situation in Somaliland is correct. The clan of the serving president usually gets a lot of critism and suspicion from everyone else even though the president's clan rarely derives any benefit from his presidency. I can remember everyone outside of Awdal saying "the streets of Boorama are paved with gold" when Riyaale was running the country :-D I believe the Hargeisa oligarch community are the political Jews of Somaliland. Like their American cousins, they never go for the top job but instead strike a deal with whichever neive clan is putting all its eggs in one basket (the villa). In return for votes and campaign money they demand a lion's share of the government formed if victory is achieved. From their on they hold the strings of power and enrich themselves even more. These oligarchs should be stopped before they ruin our politics for good. I don't know if your claim is true, but if it is and civil service jobs in Awdal and Salel are filled by the oligarchs and other outsiders to the region, then their should be a public inquiry and a forceful eviction of everyone of them. We don't want a replication of the Kacaan in Somaliland.
5. This is a great achievement. I hope the next project would be a reservoir to collect all that flood water for use in agriculture.
6. Lool I am sure I saw a cash machine in Hargeisa when I visited the city almost a year ago. Although I don't like to carry cash around and prefer a cashless society where transactions are done online and wirelessly( an area where Somaliland is making real progress), I welcome the progress Mogadishu is making. But let me assure you no amount of cash machines in Mogadishu can make your daydream of destroying Somaliland a reality :-D
7. @DoctorKenney said: Why are Naxar Nugaleed and Burahadeer so adamant in compromising Islam in order to appease Islamophobes? Do you really believe that this will endear you to people like Bill Maher and Sam Harris (who actually advocated that the Muslim world be nuclear bombed). What happened to your sharaf ? What's with this defeatist mentality? Why the f*** do you care what these people think? Shouldn't you concern yourself with what Allah thinks of you? You want to gain the approval of Non-Muslims by imitating them, and then you want to ignore and completely discard the Guidance of Allah in order to appease these people? Quran 2:120 And never will the Jews or the Christians approve of you until you follow their religion. Say, "Indeed, the guidance of Allah is the [only] guidance." If you were to follow their desires after what has come to you of knowledge, you would have against Allah no protector or helper. We Muslims have a bright white history, everywhere from Islamic Spain to Cairo to Damascus to Baghdad to Timbuktu attests to this fact. One only needs to look into the history books and see for themselves. And the time when we Muslims were the pre-eminent political, military, scientific and cultural power in the world was when we stuck close to our religion. Your comment is irrelevant as both of them are committed atheists :-D But I do agree with them that the Muslim world has a serious theological crisis. The Muslim man or woman on the street does not know whether the peaceful whirling Sufi or the monster al-Baghdadi of ISIS is closer to the truth of Islam. Information about the religion of Islam is propagated through the pulpit of the mosque by mostly ill-educated imams, Saudi printed material, or shady websites. There are no formal academic discussions or debates about grey issues among Muslim scholars; we do not have an organised system like the Christian and Jewish denominations; and most unfortunately it seems there is no effort on the part of the Muslim world to change the status quo and reclaim Islam from the extremists. Instead Islam is used by almost every tyrant, crook, or power hungry organisation to gain legitimacy among the public. As a result, even the global media is partaking in the race to ruin the good image of Islam by calling every barbaric, blood-thirsty organisation their self-labelled title "Islamic".
8. @Alpha Blondy said: these kids are non-ethnic Somalis. they are all foreigners. in all my dealings with them, i have never found ethnic Somalis among them. they're mostly oromos and other such qashin. it's only a matter of time before they start protests and cause civil disobedience. oromos are already gaining confidence because of the nonchalance attitude towards immigration in the SL Republic. with crime figures already soaring through the roof in the nation's capital, we can't just stand back and do nothing. they ought to be removed immediately. this is a ticking time-bomb. unfortunately, the Kulmiye Zionist Criminal Regime, hasn't a clue on how to deal with external threats. they are too busy with their ceremonial ''wax-qabad and dhagax-dig'' presentational politics. just last week, there were reports that the civil and electoral registration is heading towards an utter failure. how will they distinguish between who is an ethnic Somali and who's a foreigner. First of all, please stop referring to our Oromo Muslim brothers and sisters as "qashin". They have a serious problem with abject poverty and political persecution in Ethiopia, so they need our sympathy. Secondly, every child regardless of his/her nationality is innocent and so our government and our wider society have a responsibility to protect them from abuse. Although Somaliland is too poor to look after even its own children, there should be at least some effort on the part of the government to stop these kids abusing harmful substances. Proper shelter and two to three daily meals should also be given to lone children.

10. @burahadeer said: Northerners neva had power either in the civilian or military gov'ts.They were just dispensable technocrats .There were 33 northerners out of 123 deputies in the civilian gov't and even among the 33 all those from Lascanod,Laskkoray ,Borama and Zeila were voting with the south...mistakingly and naively thinking the grass was greener on the otha side.Same in the military gov't.Out of the 25 supreme revolutionary council, 11 were 'D' plus ,Ali samater,Abdalla fadil(arab),plus one from Borama and one from Zeila....that's 15 voting together. There were 6 Hags and 4 I's. It was set long before the revolution came to being. So really the northerners made their biggest blunder in 1960 when they ran with 33 not knowing the south were stuffing ballot boxes by the 100s of thousands in every tiny village. That's how the name Walaaweeyeen came about when northeners heard ova the radio that 800,000 voted in wlweeyn village...there teasing being that everyone in the south live in that village. The otha thing was Northerners were completely caught off guard and in oblivion to the power struggle between the Hags and "D"s when because of the war of attrition the north had with Ethiopia in many villages at the border and beyond, they were more nationalistic and were looking at the bigger picture. No doubt that many of the nationalistic songs, poems and folklore in 1960 were coming from North. Galbeedi and the other nostalgic beneficiaries of the Kacaan can mourn everyday about the loss of their golden era; but we the Duriyad have learned our lessons the hard way and so are not prepared to make the same mistakes again.

12. We produced terrorists who killed and maimed the natives of our adopted countries; we preached hate from the pulpit of our mosques; ridiculed the culture of our host societies; exploited their women; plighted every neighbourhood with knife and gun yielding, hard drugs-peddling, thieving youths; and failed to take responsibility for our actions. Therefore, we are responsible for whatever happens to us.
13. What has this guy done to deserve his brutal murder?
14. DrK, Holac, and Galbeedi thanks for the compliment. Saferz is an ally :-D I like all the nomads except those who are anti-Somaliland, the pro-terrorists, the Khaatumo failed project supporters, the pirates, those who are colonised by the Bantus, the Siyadist losers, the mooryaans, the Arab wannabees, the homophobes, the misogynists, the annoying trolls, the blind supports of the useless Koonfuria regime, and the unashamed tribalist.
15. @Alpha Blondy said: R&B star Akon accused of going to extreme lengths to avoid catching Ebola after crowd surfing in giant 'bubble' at a concert in Goma, DRC . LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL Lool :-D
16. What is the need for covering the face in a girls school?? There might be male teachers but they would not flirt with their students, they are not allowed to anyway.
17. Suldaan Άλφα, how widespread is the registration of the population in the nation?
18. @CidanSultan said: Iska Amus Saxib you seriously have no idea. Buy a coloring book and a pack of crayons and colour within the lines ok.... No one knows were this organisation came from...it was born out of sectarian hate in Iraq and Syria. Don't confuse the Sunni uprising with the islamic state. They be headed an innocent man that was British that was part of aid convoy to help Syrians. Which was un islamic. Islam is not terrorism. Just because we want sharia doesn't mean we support or condone terrorism. I can understand fighting the Shia because of oppression but the Kurds ?? The PKK are communists I understand but Kurds are a good people and gave Islam heroes like Islam ibn tammiya and salahudin Ayubi. They shouldn't be fighting Kurds. What Muslims want is the right to rule over themselves, sharia and the end of American aggression against Muslims. What?? Have you changed with the wind again or is the MI5 breathing on your neck? :-D
19. @DoctorKenney said: So what are you guys gonna do CidanSultan and Tallaabo? Just sit on an internet forum while trading insults against Koonfurians? What have you done for your clan enclave in Hargeisa? What are you doing to improve the welfare of the people living in Waqooyi? All you guys know how to do is wave the Somaliland Flag while trading insults against Koonfurians, authubilah get yourselves together. The misfortunes of the people of Koonfuria, could just as easily happen to the people of Somaliland, if Allah so willed. So I sincerely advise you to drop your arrogant attitude and instead work towards improving your own societies before you attempt to lecture our Koonfurian brothers. Allah will ask you on Yawmul Qiyaama what have you done? What have you done for the Ummah, for the people of Somalia? Allah will not ask you what the Tribal Leader of HAG has done, or what the Prime Minister of Somalia has done, but Allah will ask you WHAT DID YOU DO? Never forget that Where did you see me insult the Koonfurians? My comment was about just highlighting their pathetic situation and the reality on the ground whilst their wealth is being blundered by wolves.
20. @thefuturenow said: Dr. Ken, I will say this with as much respect as I can. Never argue with a fool, otherwise . . . A more fruitful way to spend your free time. Leave the fools to build mosques and worship the Almighty Lord in peace while you and your lot keep chopping the heads of aid workers and other innocent people.
21. @DoctorKenney said: Tallaabo, if a man finds his best friend's wife attractive, should he have the right to court her? Answer the question Do you believe in self-restraint or not? And yes, I do believe those who truly have homosexual urges should exercise self-restraint and remain celibate. I have nothing but the utmost respect for those people. And everyone of us has their own unique challenges. This is theirs. Should a man court the wife of his friend? Of course no Do I believe in self-restraint? Yes And here are your questions: Can you practice self-restraint and live your entire life without sex? Would you love to do that and be a celibate?
22. @burahadeer said: Somali territories combined have the largest oil deposits in Africa. And yet Somali women and children are starving to death in Koonfuria while they are also being killed, maimed, and raped by the Ugandans, Burundians, Kenyans, and Ethiopians in Koonfuria and in the NFD and Kililka. Very sad indeed.
