The land looks so lifeless and inhospitable. May Allah give us the rain and His blessings we so desperately need.

@Saalax said: Tallaabo How does it feel having lived a lie your whole life? Anigu I never really believed in the Arab flying carpet myth. How do you know I "lived a lie"? Mr saalax unlike you not everyone of us gets a piece of information from teashops and then runs away with it. We do make use of our faculties of thought and reason.

This is the government doing the job it was elected to do and I pray to Allah to help them. These skirmishes in Sool should never be tolerated as the consequences of them being unchecked are too grave in terms of both life and development. Today the focus of everyone in Somaliland should be about surviving this catastrophic draught and not about clans.

The problem with you guys is that you don't understand that the Somalia flag is added to a list of banned items which includes alcohol, cocaine, pornographic material, the Christian cross, Hindu idols, Puntland's pirate flag, etc. Just like every country in the world, if anyone is caught while in possession of those banned items, the law will be used against them.

In announcing the missile strikes, Mr Donald Trump sounded very presidential and eloquent for the first time in his life. I am cheering for him now.

I keep hearing these sort of stories but unless ay dhagdheer soo laabatay oo beerka iyo kelyaha caruurta ay shaqaaleheedu hargaysa ugasoo ururinayaan, human organs being used for medical transplantation cannot be transported like that.

^ Indeed maakhiri. I don't understand how his supporters can't see his true intentions!! If the masses are supporting all those major constitutional changes in Turkey out of love for Erdogan, what will happen when he is no longer there and the person replacing him turns out to be evil? With all those powers being accumulated in the hands of the president, and with no strong tradition of democracy, Turkey is in danger of turning into another Egypt. It is also ridiculous to demand Turkish politicians campaign in foreign countries. Every country has a right to control what happens within their borders so the abuses and the un diplomatic behaviour from Erdugan when his plans were stopped by Europe and the absence of Turkish condemnation of Erdugan shows the man has dangerous powers in his country.
-
Erdugan is turning into a dictator and the European governments have a duty to stop him from acquiring more illegal powers. I don't know why he has to campaign in Europe and spread his propaganda there when he already has enough supporters in Turkey itself. The European Turks should worry more about their interests in their respective European countries instead of colluding with the crazy man to topple democracy in their former country of origin.

The old fart Siilaanyo is dying of obesity and the people he is responsible for are facing famine!! What a shame. God forbid, if I were one of those nomads who lost his animals and livelihood in this catastrophe, I would move to the coast and try fishing. There is no draught in the sea and the fish is still there. The useless government should suspend all the licences given to the foreign fishing vessels and instead encourage our people to go to the sea for their livelihood. It defies logic that our sea is full of nutritious food and the Somalis are today dying of hunger.

@galbeedi said: First of all who is Somalilander?. Opposing the session does not deny people to be native of that land. If the issue is that ,let the separatist debate the merit of the base , then so be it. say loudly that only separatists can debate the matter. I have brothers, sisters, in-laws, uncles and all family in Borama , Gabiley and Hargeisa. . . So, as you can see , we are intermingled (waan isku tidcan nahay), yet that does not stop me rejecting separation. When I say you are young, you really proved me right. The Jaamac C/laahi Qaalib I am talking was elected from Berbera in 1960. He has left the SNL of Cigaal and joined the ruling SYL., and became the first parliamet speaker of Somalia in 1960, You probably thinking general Jaamac Mohamed Qalib, who is a native of Hrgeisa. Cigaal is buried in Berbera, and his family had land and businesses in Berbera. Jamaal might be from Hargeisa, but his ancestral home land is Saaxil. I could be from Degmo Laqas in western Awdal , but you guys identify us being from Borama. On the Visa thing, I hope the Somali president and the government will have a backbone and resist these pressures. In 2015 when Dubai World Port left Djibouti after disagreements with president Cumar Geele, they tried these same tactics, but did not work. They Djibouti passport holders who used to travel through Dubai without visa were denied entry. They called their Ambassador to Dubai and stopped their airlines flights to Djibouti. After while they backed down . This is huge test for the government . The UAE is not a country but a bank. Ask the international community where they prefer to put their money in- a begging bowl (Koonfuria) or a bank (the UAE as you claimed).

@Maakhiri1 said: This Berbera base is a BAD decision, it won't be long before UAE starting kicking out all SOmali passport holders, hard working SOMALIs who supporting their families. It was not long ago UAE send All Djibouti passport holders, which included many citizens from Somalia, had their visa cancelled. This is nothing but small price to pay protecting the national sovereignty of the county. It is so easy to type this from the comfort of a secure home in a wealthy western country in which you are a citizen. I am sure national sovereignty and other notions would not have entered your mind if you were a poor man from Mogadisho or Baydhabo where hunger and violence are the daily realities, facing deportation from the UAE.

The police officers have done a wonderful job :-D Somaliland should learn a thing or two from the British guys in uniform. I have a lot of concerns about this military base of bloodshed and terror which will be used to destroy and terrorise the Muslim people of Yemen but I also respect the decision of the elected representatives. Its these MPs who will have to answer for their role in this unjust war on the day of judgement.

If I were the assessor of this thesis I would have given it zero for using the name "Somalia" instead of the official "Somali Republic" in refering to the failed entity. It is also repetitive and lacks proper chronological order of events. On top of that, this piece of garbage screams of anti-Is@q clan and condones their genocide in the hands of his uncle and clan militia. It is indeed amazing how this blood-thirsty tribalist monster claims that he could "talk to" the people of Somaliland about "unity". The word "unity" must be the most abused word in the walawayn vocabulary alongside the now officially meaningless "Soomaalinimo".
