MMA you have given us a great perspective on this issue. Indeed only those who are guided by Allah would acknowledge the sin they commit and would repent. This ex-minister is clearly conscious of Allah and so is seeking forgiveness- may Allah forgive him and cure him. Many others are not as lucky and will go to their graves with a heavy burden on their shoulders. Those are the most unfortunate indeed. Is he, then, to whom the evil of his conduct is made alluring, so that he looks upon it as good, (equal to one who is rightly guided)? For Allah leaves to stray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. So let not thy soul go out in (vainly) sighing after them: for Allah knows well all that they do!

It seems you clearly haven't read the Quran. Almighty Allah himself said everything we needed to know and follow is in it. So on that account alone we don't need to have anything else. Say: "Shall I seek for judge other than Allah? - when He it is Who hath sent unto you the Book, explained in detail." They know full well, to whom We have given the Book, that it hath been sent down from thy Lord in truth. Never be then of those who doubt. And on the day when We will raise up in every people a witness against them from among themselves, and bring you as a witness against these-- and We have revealed the Book to you explaining clearly everything, and a guidance and mercy and good news for those who submit.

Mr David Vance has a point because almost all our politicians are drug users who are unfit to govern our people. Instead of running the affairs of our homeland they should be in rehabilitation centres to overcome their addiction. We also know were Britain's aid money ends up so no need to discuss or dispute it.

Nigel Roberts to be appointed the governor of the Somali Central Bank
Tallaabo replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
Indeed. Here in London, the governor of the Bank of England which is the UK's central Bank is a Canadian citizen and this Central Bank is not like the one in Mogadishu. It is functional and a multi-trillion Dollar economy depends on it. Anyway, when both the president and the prime minister and almost all their ministers have foreign nationalities, what is the fuss about appointing a competent foreign professional to manage an insignificant government department? Indeed it would be much better if Somalis hired foreign politicians to be presidents and prime ministers and govern every region including Mogadishu. That way we will have zero problems with tribalism. -
What is the point of asking the MPs in Mogadishu and in Garowe to cast their votes in a secret ballot when everyone knows that their vote is for sale? If I were one of those MPs I would have conducted an open auction for my vote and sold it there and then to the highest bidder.

When the Muslim people abandon the Quran and instead relay on Chinese whisper aka hadith for religious law and doctrine this is what you end up with. Everyone in KSA, Somalia, Pakistan, and many other "Islamic" countries know that if they renounce Islam openly they would be put to death thanks to the books of one Central Asian guy called Bukhaari and his fellow writers of that era. Instead if we followed Allah's law which decreed that there is no compulsion in religion then non of this enforced hypocrisy would exist.

Kidnapping and handing over of a Soomaali citizen

https://www.hiiraan.com/news4/2018/Dec/161659/somalia_gave_her_birth_right_not_fishing_right_to_china.aspx Somalia Gave her Birth-Right - not Fishing-Right to China The African Exponent Wednesday December 26, 2018 Sebastiane Ebatamehi Somalia gives China license to exploit its shores and put local fishermen out of business. In what appears to be a repeat of the famous biblical story of Esau selling his birthright to his younger brother, Jacob for a bowl of porridge, Somalia has sold its birthright to China; but this time, the bargain was done for much less than the worth of a bowl of porridge to a hungry man. Within a year of taking office as the president of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has given fishing license to 31 Chinese fishing companies through the Chinese Overseas Fisheries Association. Under the agreement, the foreign fishing companies will have control over the Somalia waters to exploit the large presence of tuna and tuna-like species in its coastal waters. It is disheartening that this is coming at a time when local fishermen in the country are competing with foreign vessels whose presence continues to affect the fishing stock in the region. One would have thought that the government will empower local fishermen and enact laws that will protect the interests of local fishermen and business; rather, they have further plunged the locals into crisis as they have made the exploitation official. Apart from the disadvantages this new agreement will pose to local fishermen and businesses, there is the security treat. advertisements Somalia has surrendered Africa’s largest coastline to foreigners which furthers put not just the country but the entire African continent at risk, especially security and economy wise. The heavy presence of foreign vessels along the coastline of a country which is a major entry point to a defenseless continent like Africa is indeed a thread. On its part, the government said the agreement was signed in a bid to tap into the sector, towards boosting economic growth. How it plans on boosting economic growth through an agreement with the China Overseas Fisheries Association – a group founded in 2012 to ‘promote’ East Asia’s competitive fishing edge abroad, remains a miracle waiting to happen. It is alarming how a country can sign an agreement with a group whose core value is to promote its own selfish interest while exploiting others. China will begin its operation this month on a one-year agreement with an automatic renewal for an additional year. The Somalia government in its defense claims that the foreign vessels are restricted to “operate between 24 nautical miles (44 kilometers) to the seaward side of the Somali baseline and the Somali baseline in order to protect small-scale fishing operations.” How this will be implemented and how fishing 44 kilometers to the seaward side of Somalia will not affect the stock closer to shore and thereby put local fishermen out of business remains questions without answers. Another worrying issue is the fact that Somalia has completely overlooked the activities of Chinese vessels in West Africa which has resulted to a drastic reduction in fishing stock due to the opaque and unethical measures these companies employ in their day to day fishing activities. Also, the effect on local businesses continues to raise huge concerns. Has Somalia just sold her birth right; what are your thoughts?

Kidnapping and handing over of a Soomaali citizen

I feel sad about what happened to our brothers and sisters in the Ogaden region and Somaliland's contribution to their suffering is very regrettable. However, Somaliland was pushed to a corner and forced to collaborate with the Tigrey regime not only by koonfuria but also by the Ogadenis themselves. Under the given circumstances, Somaliland was just looking after its vital national interests and will continue doing so in the future. Had the Somali politicians in koonfuria and also those in Ogadenia recognised Somaliland's sovereignty and enabled it to take its rightful seat at the United Nations, the brutalised victims of the Tigrey dictatorship in Ethiopia would have had a capable ally on their side. In an internationally recognised Somaliland, no Somali man or woman from any region would have been allowed to be handed over to their enemies. But as long as Somaliland remains unrecognised, its citizens will look the other way whatsoever our government does regarding other Somalis. -
Who the hell adviced our folks like Sucaad Carmiye and Biixi Yoonis to attend this good for nothing talk show? Somalilanders should not trust anything associated with Heritage Institute or any other Koonfurian outfit. And those useless so-called talks should be called off asap.

The Bantu bunker tells the Somali people and the world that Somaliland is a federal member state yet Somaliland has got not a single "representative" in their zoo-like parliament!!

I agree with you that Somalis are territorially tribal but can you see how you are contradicting yourself here? Somaliland's Eastern regions are occupied and governed by the clans that own it. It is also those clans who have made the political decision to be part of Somaliland. So Puntland has got no legitimate claim or any right to rule those regions. It is not your land.
