  3. When Somalia get permanent peace and stability and democratic governance is established, I am sure all this useless struggle over regions and towns will become a distant memory. People will migrate to where they can get jobs and better opportunities, land and properties will be sold and re-sold countless times to the highest bidder regardless of clan affiliation, people would invest less on land and more on large profit making companies, probably there would be more foreigners from Africa and Asia reducing the proportion of the Somalis in the population, Small towns would grow to large cities with bigger governments and economies with a role for everyone, and finally with proper democracy everyone will have a vote in every region diminishing the importance of the clan.

So what you gonna besides moan and whine and pout you lips like you've be doing these last twenty years. The Ankara talks are nothing more than a troublesome husband(Somalia) trying to make amends with a naggy wife(Somaliland). And we are grateful that you've accepted our flowers(air-control station). There's more of where that came from, like diamonds and pearls, so demented wife, accept our sincere apologies. Don't you realise the wife is a radical feminist and wants to have the final say about the ruined marriage? She already started an affair with her next door neighbour Mr Ethiopia and also had a one night stand with the French speaking younger bloke on the other side of the road- Mr Djibouti:D:D

Sure the Americans might have funded this coup---fine. But it was the millions of Muslim Egyptians who protested Morsi and idiotically listened to the Western secularists by overthrowing him. Instead of getting behind their Leader and working together to solve Egypt's economic problems, they overthrow their Democratically elected Leader and instead opt for a military government. Nice job. That is true. No one should blame the Americans or other Western nations for looking after their own interests.

Illyria, ha ku daalin ku waan....saddex baanu ku qabnaa--they aint going nowhere . I agree we were married a while ago when you were more dignified, but now sadly you guys are just prostituting for the Africans in a brothel;)
  10. Tillamook;967806 wrote: No. The same law you posted, was part of the first constitution of Somalia...so tell us, dear friend, what that constitution said about breaking the law you've posted? Or is my language too difficult to understand? The old constitution of the erstwhile Somali Republic which contained the above mentioned law is no more. It was brutally killed by Somalia with the help of the Ethiopians and Kenyans and the Republic of Somaliland simply gave it a decent burial and a fitting farewell. I think the priority now for you guys is to complete a coherent, fair, and inclusive constitution to fill the void left by the old one and rebuild your nation making it a rules based society.

Only Somaliland airspace control centre should be stationed in Hargeisa and Mogadishu should control its own airspace. Whoever agreed to this ridiculous business of sharing airspace with Somalia should be fired as he forgot that the whole discussion is about ending our shared sovereignty with that chaotic country.

  15. Well first thing first, I think Mogadishu should first sort out its colour code and ditch the ugly looking blue paint which has become a fashion lately.
  16. The Sun tabloid made a huge fuss about it on their headline few days ago. Ramadan karim everyone.

  18. This is the problem when people base their entire identity only on their paternal lineage and completely disregard their maternal side which is half of their identity and physical makeup. Somalis are strange people runtii.

  21. I wonder how many students in Somaliland take advantage of the University of Cambridge scholarship which is given exclusively to graduates from Somaliland's universities.

So now the question is whether or not to go to Hargeisa for a few days and come back, and when. It's a hassle, it's Ramadan, and it's a rough trip, but I'd like to go see ayeyo You should have consulted me before you bought your ticket Saffy  I would surely have told you to buy your ticket directly from the airline via their website. I know it because I learned my lesson the hard way (losing $750 after missing a flight).
