  2. This is so sad may Allah forgive their sins and bless their souls. This has become a recurring tragedy afflicting our people. The Islamic scholars should speak up against this dangerous and unacceptable gamble with life our youth are taking for promise of a better future.

I don't have time to do your homework for you (some of us aren't just hypothetical PhD students), go read the links I provided from UNICEF, UNESCO and the World Bank on their methodologies and they will tell you exactly how they've compiled and analyzed their data.

Lol I know they are all fraudsters who deceive us with tables and graphs constructed out of the thin air:D

Is it difficult to get with the local women? Where are the places to go? thanks I think the larger pharmacies in the town centres sell condoms but it is better to take your own supplies. I don't know about Bosaso but Cali Mataan mosque in central Hargeisa is a good place to ask for information. They know a lot about illicit sex with the local girls and are a helpful bunch.

Everything that exists and ever existed in the universe was predestined by Almighty Allah before they we brought into existence. So it does not matter whether you are part of a very large family or the only child of your parents, or whether your birth was planned or came about by accident, your existence on Earth was written down long before you were born.
  11. N.O.R.F;980219 wrote: Before one can tell others how to live as a family one needs to have lived in his/her own family. Data or not, I find privileged qurbo joogs telling mothers back home how to live their lives distasteful. Who are they to tell mums not to have another kid or to have 4 instead of 6? Why have kids at all? When she could have that nice big house to herself. 3 children or not, somewhere down the line there was a big family that didn't have much. They grazed the lands and tendered to the camel. The more the merrier to do this. If they were to 'plan', for reasons unknown, its likely you wouldn't be here today. But, because of our culture (more so before the wars), large families were the norm. There are large families doing well in the west. You are comparing apples and oranges. Having a large family is a necessity for our nomadic population but is a disadvantage for those living in urban areas. A large percentage of urban Somali men are technically nothing more than sperm donors to their wives. They contribute nothing to their families be it economical or parental support and only reappear every night to impregnate their poor wives. The offspring of these walking sperm banks are usually in the lowest socio-economic level of the society both in our countries and abroad. That is why Somali youth in the West perform so badly at schools and form one of the largest prison populations among ethnic groups.

  15. Wadani;980094 wrote: Not hadii ninka iyo naagtu ayna isku qornayn oo u ninku soo shaqeeyo. It's a dishonest way to live, but a lot of these families are doing ok money wise. Enough to build homes back home and drives new minivans lol. This is pure haram money made with dishonesty and white lies even about the legitimacy of the children. No wonder why Somali youth are the new African Americans in Britain constituting a disproportionate ratio in the prison population and in the mental health institutions costing their host country dearly. When will Somalis take heed of their religion and realise that there is never any Baraka in cheating and theft.

  17. The Somaliland flag has the universe's most holy inscription on it so it should never be worn on a dance floor let alone by dancers.
  18. Banning HB for his views on Islam is tantamount to communist style censorship. There is absolutely no insult of any sort in this thread, just his views. If criticising a backward and barbarian cult within our religion is taken as an insult to the faith itself then SOL must declare its official support for the Salafi nutters and "Islamic dictatorship".
