  1. The Hargaysa bridge you see in the first video is at least 4 storey high.
  2. Absolutely, the sheer volume of the water in these seasonal rivers can fill giant lakes in a matter of hours.
  3. True it wasn't long ago when we heard of biyo la'aan ba'an from Gedo to kililka to Sanaag.
  4. Well Puntland has the right to control its borders and deport any alien they deem to be a threat to their national security although I believe Coldoon poses no danger.
  5. With the large number of Somali elders dying these days it is becoming an urgent need to preserve our language, history, and oral culture in a digital form.
  6. In Africa dictators have realised they need each other to survive.
  7. Only a week ago, the Nigerians who can not secure even their school children from kidnapping came to Mogadishu to milk the AMISOM cash cow. So Xaaji you are right, the African mercenaries are going no where.
  8. The AU and IGAD rubber-stamped the Djibouti dictator's one man "election", so Farmaajo is betting on them doing the same for him.
  9. Good riddance!!! I hope the new president does her very best to educate the Tanzanian people of the dangers of this virus and implement the necessary measures to stop its spread. What goes round comes round ayaan maqlijiray.
  10. Its good we have got some vaccines now but my serious concern is that due to negligence and lack of knowledge on our part, the vaccines might become spoiled and dangerous. We need to monitor the storage temperature and quality of the doses we get.
  11. Actually Taiwan is developing two of its own vaccines which are currently in phase 2 clinical trials. They are also building manufacturing facilities and aim to produce 20 million doses a month. The Taiwanese are highly driven by a desire to be independent from Beijing so should not be taken as a joke. Interestingly Cuba is also producing their own Covid-19 vaccines as they have a thriving biotech industry. They got to this point because of US sanctions and now export medicines to many countries around the world. Che I think we should develop a good relationship with Cuba and invite them to invest in our health care infrastructure. We badly need any assistance when it comes Healthcare.
  12. Waaryaa Che, this guy is more likely going to be pardoned by His excellency president Muuse Biixi to return to Somaliland.
  13. Ilaahay ha u naxariisto marxuumka. There are now several medications proven to treat Covid-19 so the hospitals in our homeland should have brought in those medications and a good number of ventilators along with oxygen plants to treat patients. These things cost much less than what the useless Somali politicians spend on "election" campaigns. Also our governments should have brought Sputnic V, Johnson & Johnson, and Astrazeneca vaccines from Russia, India, and elsewhere. They don't necessarily have to give it for free but could sell it to those who want vaccinated.
  14. Actually it baffles me why the Baydhabo folks never try to get the presidency or the prime minister in koonfuria politics. Surely they are not small in numbers, or are they?
  15. He is irrelevant in Somaliland politics. The journalist was better off interviewing a dilaal in suuqa xoolaha Hargaysa about the latest prices and deals.
  16. That is true Xaaji. The rights of the job seekers from SL should be respected. Let's not forget their rights are enshrined in the constitution called 4.5.
  17. Ilaahay ha u naxariisto marxuunka but I didn't elect him. I don't support dictatorship even if it is just cultural.
  18. Galbeedi I read this article somewhere else yesterday and had a laugh at the 600000 figure. It is so obvious that half of the charity vaccine doses are already banked by the Kleptocracy in Mogadishu and would be sold to the poor public at premium prices. My only hope is that they maintain the necessary temperature for the vaccines and avoid rendering them useless. By the way, the vaccine is most probably the Oxford-Aztrazeneca one produced in India.
  19. Let's not forget that Almighty Allah is a witness to whatever we write and say.
  20. Che it is his rather ugly "place in Somali history" I commented on. You know if it wasn't for him and his satanic henchmen, you wouldn't be a despised minority refugee in the US today.
  21. Good riddance!! But I am sure some sad folks will be holding candle-lit vigil to commemorate and mourn the ugly defeat and subsequent ugly death of their cult leader.
