If Puntland wants to be a federal state then they have to reduce the powers of the executive and increase the powers of the legislative, sub clans shouldn't be fighting for ministerial positions. I still don't know what kind of governing system PL is planning to run, try to fix that first before dividing the pie.

These ID cards are better than the ones I have here in Canada. Look at that chip! I almost had tears in my eyes when one of them said that after 22 years of war things are changing to peace and development while he pointed at his ID card. Such a simple but meaningful thing.

I think this is linked to the economy. Sweden from what I know became less socially democratic during the recession and inequality is rising fast since they can't compete with lower wage countries. When you have multitude of people who are perma-unemployed then they will turn their frustrations to the "other" and who is more different than an African immigrant.

I thought Somalis were doing the environment a favor by remaining backward, the country consumes less electricity than a hamlet in Canada.

Let's call it as it is, Somalis treat each other badly, Muslims, Christians whatever. Christians are not doing someone a favor but trying to convert him/her in Somalia, they are just adding another layer to the problem.
