Its pointless now to voice opinions as to why you didn't raise those blatantly honest concerns years ago. you speak as though you have the power to change anything ....saxib you couldn't do a thing to faroole, so enjoy your life, the next Pm is going to be from puntland and if that's not the case puntland is going to raise hell. You shouldnt be surprised or try to seem knowledgeable by trying to pass of public knowledge as some profound incite into the behavior of reer Puntland, just as reer xamar would have taken up arm if the president was not from their region puntland will distance it self from the new government if the PM is not one of ours.

He just inherited it. NEXT! George Washing was instrumental in establishing the ideas of a democratic and free republic, does that take away from Eisenhower, Lincoln or Jefferson contributions in shaping the america we know today, there is no argument that C/llahi Yusuf established Puntland, would it have been the same Puntland we know today if not for the leadership of all the presidents that have succeeded him?.
  4. I am very pleased with this outcome president faroole has done well to put puntland before the never ending political Olympics in the south.
  5. Its good to see president faroole doing his job, the people of puntland must always seek to increase the value and capital of their region. The leaders of puntland must always seek to build institution that enable the people to make the best of what they have. God bless Puntland.

He's unpopular in Puntland and he stands in the way of reconciliation if only your warped mind was the reality on the ground, the only thing faroole has done so far is put puntland first just as the politician in xamar put xamar first and those in the north somali region put hargeysa first...The only reason faroole is hated is because of who he was born of. Its sad to see puntlander trying to appease these people tomorrow if faroole left they would hate the new president of puntland with the same vigor . Long live president faroole and Long live the only self governing stable region of somalia PUNTLAND.

I denounce this thread its maker and all it stand for. Salamz.

Yunis;870159 wrote: nonsense - Pic our ilk Faroole mantra or else days are over with. the only nonsense here is you there is no one more deserving than the former Pm and putting tribal politics aside it would be a decision most somali would feel comfortable with, and that most somali expect if the president ...chooses someone else based solely on political or tribal companionship will end up nothing more than a controversial president and the last thing we need right now is a controversial president. People like you who seem hell bent on opposing puntland rather than finding an acceptable middle ground are whats wrong with somalia, dont act like Prof. gaas being selected would be the worst possible outcome or some dire plot, when we all know is something even the most bitter anti-puntlander would be willing to have Gaas return as PM....
  9. I have to give credit where credit is due the president, be it by passively standing on the sidelines (which I think is the case) or Actively participating has done well in assuring a smooth transitional process and he as well as the PM and many members of the parliament have made it possible for somalis all over the world to have hope in reunification and peace. here here to Mr. President my god bless him for all the good he has done.
  10. @ GD I have been saying this for Quite a while now somali have developed a clan based shield of mistrust anc cynosism, If a politician is not from ones subclan they spread rumors, and try everything in their power to discredit him/her , not because they disagree with his/her view point, but because he is from clan X and They are from clan Y. Wallahi its disgusting, and the result is younger generations of somali feeling that they have incompetant, dishonest leaders, and although that is sometimes teh case, when one puts up the shield at evey man/women who walsk through the door, one should not be surprised at the youth's disinterest in everything somali.....We really need to self censor more.
  11. Good to See the proffesor has won, now we only need a comptetant president and Prime minister....Inshallah Soon we will be hearing good news of Prof. Gaas's Victory.
  12. I like somali architecture it has a little bit of old and a little bit of new. I wouldn't call this a hotel, but perhaps a luxury villa.

Power and its judicious application solves issues and on that note Somalia and its complaining leadership can do nothing if they actually wanted to do something in the first place. Dont be fooled my friend right now kenya is in a more fragile state than somalia, just a few days ago 48 Kenyans were hacked to death, and UN observers suggest this up coming election is going to be the most violent in the countries history. The UN doesn't want another ******-region issue, I suspect they will not allow kenya to do as they please. Then again the UN has become something of a corporate house boy and I doubt they will ask multi-billion dollar american oil firms to stop making profit.....This should get interesting.
  14. The economist the the definition of eurocentric journalism, I am surprised they haven't posted an article on how slavery could solve the European debt crisis.

Your attempt in trying to defame my character is an epic fail. Bluelicious, What are you talking about? am sure you fought side by side as you said...We will let time be the decider.
  17. Conqueror;860507 wrote: I am the same Conqueror from Snet. However, neither was I against Udun from Snet nor did I ever supported Somaliland and it's Foreign Internet gangsters on Snet. As for Executive from Snet, we're not the same person. You see, I don't support Khaatumo nor Somaliland. Believe it or not, I was a staunch Puntland supporter few weeks ago. But, when I see Non-Khaatumites attacking my clan then I am obligated to come to the defense of my clan, no matter what political differences we have. I might not agree with many SSC clansmen, but no Puntlander (MJ) has the right to criticize a fellow SSC member, while glorifying their own criminals. Conqueror I am very familiar with your so soco sii soco behavior in that regard you represent you kin well, I am also familiar with you paranoid delusions and emotional outburst, after all I had the displeasure of replying to the mundane incoherent hokum you call arguments. Wallahi I could quote some of your hi-jinks and attention seeking , as well as your unbreakable admiration for the waqoyi clan members (a sever case of Stockholm syndrome) even when they were shelling your cities and killing your people. Something that prompted Udun a fellow clansmen to criticize your hypocrisy, and later to see galayd for what he really was, a thief. You darwish, executive and the rest of the galayd fan boys, really need to get your priorities straight and see who the real enemy is , and trust me its not the PL clan.
  18. This man will most likely win the speaker post, inshallah I look forward to hearing great things of him.
  19. Conqueror you remind me of another conqueror from SNEt, he had the same level of paranoia and habit of hyping things too much then latter being proven wrong, I remember in one particular thread Conqueror from Snet was so utterly defeated by a fellow Khatumite Udun , he even sought the support of the Waqoyi members and was shot down, after that he changed his nick to executive and now starts nac nac threads on the PL section and doesn't even reply to them..Sadly most of the PL members of the site have left it all together due to administrative deference...It must be getting lonely for him over there.I wonder come this Sunday if there is going to be a new nomad by the name of executive. Allahu aclam.
  20. This is some funny *hit , at the thought of uganda tearing up its luch card for sharif, I can guarantee you 100% that this is complete rubish, wallahi somalida and their fairy tails, uganda doesn't have a leg to stand on hoinestly do you know how much the somali operation has netted them...Somali wallahi;)

And economically, Mogadishu would be at our mercy too. Our much sought after tax revenues would translate to power. But we do not want a clan tug of war all over again, let them keep all their political posts till the end of time. These tuulos you speak off are political and economially superior to hargeysa, just the port of bosaso generates roughly the same as the somaliland economy. Bad mouthing is going to change the reality on the ground. Its good to see reer waqoyi getting back into the political system, I never liked how they have been on the bench for most of somalias recent history. Perhabs after Abdiwelis 2 terms we will see a waqoyi president.

Already, Faroole threatened many times that he will secede from Somalia if his demands are not met. What bargaining chip what is there to bargain for..do you actually believe that faroole will lose any sleep if C/walli loses the presidency or galayd, become speaker...Its delusional minded people like yourself that make sure political failures like galayd and sharif have relevance they do not desrve.. you can talk nac nac all day about faroole and his pirate clanmen, but at the end of the day they were not the ones weighing their malnourished brethren for isbaaro, there were not the ones that turned the jewel of africa into a reference for everything negatives. Any bad the pirate of Pl did , they did to multi-million dollar foreign shipping companies, if anything they drew attention to the need for a stable government and forced the world to address the somali plight. as for mister faroole and C/llahi yusuf they have paved the way for one of the most politically and militarily powerful entities in somalia, without denying their identity or outright seceding from somalia, no amount of bad mouthing from internet warriors is going to change that. You should thank mister faroole if not for him there would have been no road map, if not C/llahi yusuf imitators like Prof. galayd would be making a living embezzling from the poor destitute somalis in the south. You can compare your clan to the Pl clan all you want at the end of the day the reality wont change, and the reality is the PL clan is eating well while you soldiers are between two borders, and the messiah galayd is nothing but smoke and mirrors. Insha Allah, Sunday is few days away. emotional retorts wont change the reality on the ground...I do not doubt that PL was a stepping stone for some , they had the tact to make it so without degrading their clansmen, khatumo on the other hand seems to repatriating itself between somaliland and puntland every other day....come Monday we will see how much political weight the professor can master. PS. I don't see the purpose of calling someone a warlord and saying AUN at the same time, who seeks mercy on the behalf of warlords?...I see your people still have love for mudane C/llahi Yusuf, he was the only Pl president that showed you brotherly love.
  25. I see now you are resorting to nac nac...I am not talking about the khatumo clan nor the puntland clan I am talking about the track record of galayd, and this strategy of accusing those who criticize your messiah as obsessed is not going to work on me, were are talking about the reality on the ground now, if you wanna compare the khatumo clan to the puntland clan by all means, but even you should know that they are on two ends of a spectrum....I will not indulge you come Monday we will see what excuse you will have for galayd failing ...AGAIN.
