The Jubbaland is a declaration of war against the Somali people.

every single part of the country was shared before then those in mugdishu stole the properties of those who made mugdishu the pearl of east africa, they ; killed, raped, looted, then they said unuka leh,, from that day on it was every man for himself. no one is asking you to share mugdishu, mugdishu will be a city of the banadir state just like any city it will only be the capital of somalia by name and it will have to compete with the rest of somali cities that is the beauty of federalism..keep mugdishu it wont be long before it is relegated to only a capital by title. federalism or anarchism the ball is in your court Oba. -
the orormo are a good muslim people they are our genetically and culturally the closest thing somali have with the rest of the dark continent, the bantu expansion has been happening for hundreds of years, and right now its is in mugdishu, we somali need to understand that the oromo are our ally, we need to come together and look beyond tribal differences, build our nation raise our children with the strength and love to safeguard our land our people and our culture, if not we will go extinct, I for one dont care which path we choose nor will history.

Ururka Sahal, promoting a 'Pirate' Agenda in Somalia
Sulleiman The Great replied to Carafaat's topic in Politics
people can say that the agendas of federalist are nefarious but at this point in the somalia its the only thing that has a chance, you must begin to walk before you can run, a one man one vote system would be the most ideal system but in a country of tribalist (somalia being one), and with a history of abuse of power, each side must feel emporwered this is what federalism is, federal state each governed by its people, under one federal government were each party has representation, the most Hippocratic people in somalia are the unuka politician who speak of clan based federalism when they have perpetuated that for the last 22 years in mugdishu, if federalism is to be scraped let there be a better option one that doesnt consolidate power to those who have profitaed from the suffering of the somali people. mugdishu wants to be the mugdishu of the siad barre era, the messed up thing is those who have suffered the most through siad barres dictatorship want to it repeated only this time they think they are in the driver seat (the capital). honestly speaking there is no alternative to federalsim lets just plan it through , plan beyond the next 20 years, plan for a one man vote system, plan the end of the invisble line made by clan states, let plan to make it last. the somali people can learn to trust each but not now if not without federalism, not with mugdishu based authoritarian government, we've been there done that and got a failed state from it. -
Xaaji Xunjuf;926844 wrote: Sullayman the HAG has played it well they have the capital on lock militarily and economically they will be the power house. The civil war made them harder than anything this is not the 60s and 70s when the Puntlanders could just chip in the Mogadishu societies. Heck they even lost their PM position they had a former alliance but it was officially broken with the dam jadiid and hassan taking office. It will be very hard to lead Somalia for the Puntians, since the conflict officially ended between the unukians and the habr gangster community. I think the dam jadiid will reign over Somalia for a long period they have the Arab world backing them and even the west. And they are similar to the ruling elite of the Egyptian Muslim brotherhood. you mean to tell me a Canadian community organization that lives of well fair has the means to have the capital on lock, dont make me laugh the closest a somali group has ever come to have complete political dominance in mugdishu aside from said barres regime was the carter transitional government and we all know how a spectacular failure that turned out to be, I think this whole HAG this damjadiid that is nothing more than mugdishu politicians doing what they know best intimidation thsi time its mental intimidation, I doubt however anyone will fall for it I can grantee you that the next somali president will not be from the unuka people the political landscape was ripe for the picking during the currents presidents campaign, its not the case this time, I suspect minority clans might have odds greater than hassans mahamouds group. I will say this again and again the HAG, has no power just luck, and people who are gullible to believe anything.

Xaaji Xunjuf;926827 wrote: Somalia, i dont think we will see a Puntian President , the unuka supremacist will not allow you to come near the Dam jadiid admin:D But your theory was quiet funny i have to say but we would not throw Brother Hassan under the train like that. We want to help Hassan, he is not our rival.we just need to practice on our xaayow dialect and all will be fine. its is childish to say their wont be a president who hails from Puntland in the near future, this whole HAG/damjadiid crap is nothing but mental intimidation, how can one expect to run a country from a community fund, it is in the nature of human beings to want to explain phenomena so as to have predictable patterns when a political party wins they want to believe that they have tapped into some reservoir that no other party has ever seen, and that future victories are inevitable, this idea is popular until they taste defeat, then its back to the rat race. I would say the end of hassan sheikh mahamouds presidency will be the end of the damjadiid/HAG persona, and I am sure in the future other such organization will emerge claiming to have control dominion over the country. back to the subject at hand, any somali who believe he can find ally ship in the zionist state is sheep to the slaughter house.

Xaaji Xunjuf;926732 wrote: A thief is justifying theft only in the Pirate enclave what a disgrace you lack vision the greatest nation in the world was built on slavery and land grab, if not for piracy the British would have been defeated by the Spanish, there are many instances in human history were one can decide to play by the rule and lose or make you own, I am just of the opinion that starving with conviction is just plain starving, especially if you can't feed your family because multi-billion dollar corporations wouldn't pay an extra million to have their waste properly disposed, call it theft I call it survival.

Xaaji Xunjuf;926720 wrote: You are not really making sense at all the international community called you're leaders the most corrupted leaders ever in the world. And you talk about mismanagement in Somaliland. I see you are a pirate from the garowe clan enclave are you forgetting about the piracy activities your leaders are involved in , they are nothing but thieves. As for Ethiopia right now there are about 2000 Ethiopian troops in Somalia operating as freelancers not under the Amisom command. If it wasn't for the xabashi troops 80% of you're country would have been under Alshabaab see who is on life support and needs half of Africa to survive. Somaliland gets only bilateral aid from Britain and denmark. And even that is very minimum , Somaliland budget and costs are entirely paid by Somaliland tax payers lol@ the opportunity please please safe us we have it so bad please Somalia is a jannoh there are Billionaires it has an economic growth of 24% a year. In what world does this kid live. By the way you're silly song doesn't even work. you have no vision I am sad to say sheep cannot decide were they are going they only decide what to do once they are there, PL had much it need's to work on but everyone knows that somaliland is not in a better position, its takes courage and political wit to change the landscape of a narrow foreign run environment like somalia, the pirate of PL were mere fishermen pushed to the edge , they had the courage to fight back, they sparked dialogue about the action of foreign countries in Somalia waters, their actions lead to the recognition of the real piracy issue and as a result PL was able to form legal binding agreements with many countries and receive aids to both patrol its territorial waters from opportunist (fishermen turned pirate & foreign cooporation looking for an easy dump), their actions also heightened international awareness of somalia and the need for a stable government capable of securing its territory land and sea. You can make opportunity when given a bad hand or you can hope and starve. I have alot of respect for the pirates of PL they have done for somalia what most politicians in mugdishu could never do, their job is done today, PL has a strong coastal guard and somalia a weak but stable federal government, economy wise somaliland cannot compete with somalia, they cant even compete with PL, and we see more and more defectors from the triangle everyday, such as misses fozia and I expect more in the future, the days of clan state are slowly coming to an end, you can either muscle you way into a seat at the table ( such as in the case of PL) or be relegated to the passenger seat, in future terms PL might not be the political counter weight it serves right now but PLanders will always be in some aspect in the drivers seat, and I say that is brilliant.

giving undisciplined salary soldiers weapons, and you will seed hatred and mistrust ,just look at somaliland they still have post traumatic stress over events that took place 20 years ago ( as they right fully should), I would say punish these men lower their ranks, but we all know that's not going to happen, one must learn to crawl before they can walk, if they are not killing and raping the living, I suppose disrespecting the dead, can be for the time being swept under the rug. I personaly would never feel safe being under the protection of people capable of such despicable actions.

Xaaji Xunjuf;926702 wrote: And he continues with predicting i think you should just give up the Somaliland politicians are honest they work for the Somaliland people on all fronts. The Koonfurians are still guarded by half of Africa there is no counter weight at all. You are entirely dependent on African union troops i think there is more chance of Somalia coming to an end than Somaliland if your african Friends leave you,, you are entirely abandoned. Somaliland politicians do not lie to their people nor do they bring Foreign foreign mercenaries into their country nor are they one time islamist the next time highly secular just because the state department promises them Something. The Somaliland Leaders are consistent, efficient and honest to their people and last but not least god fearing people. honest kulaha don't make me laugh wasn't it just a few months back that blood was shed over a land grabbing debacle and before that weren't the "honest" politicians of somaliland the ones who embezzled millions from money that was to be spent on rebuilding the airport in hargeysa, somali politicians and honesty don't belong in the same sentence. It is true that southern somalia needs much help to get back on its feet, but I would say the same for somaliland if not for the support of IC Donner's and Ethiopia the triangle project would have failed already, somalia is moving forward its not going to be easy and many will lose what little political relevance they had, but with change comes opportunity if I were in your shoes's I would seek it out , in the near future there will be haves and have nots unlike anything we have seen in somalia's past there will be billionairess and those who seek comfort from clan lineage, the only difference between these groups of people will be the ability to recognize and overcome the fear of change, to seek opportunity, and to plan to win in the other teams ball court. How long do you think you can stop future generation of those born in somaliland from seeking opportunity in cities like bosaso, kismayo, mugdishu and the like. This song will do the hardened somalilander well

Xaaji Xunjuf;926703 wrote: Hargeysa is unite it has one mayor one governor one deputy mayor ofcourse there are problems in every city and riots but Hargeysa is not divided by a green line like Galkacyo. Land grabbing by the ruling class what are you on about this is not Somalia. Galkacyo is a divided city when it comes to administration when it comes to clan deal with. a unity of a city cannot be judge based on who its mayor is it was that far a go that the clan of the mayor and the resident in hargeysa were shooting at it each and you might say this inst somalia but to the rest of teh world it is, galkacyo as a city name is shared true but galkacyo as a city is not shared, one can say the small band of house south of the city is part of the city, but others would make the counter argument that they are an entirely different region under the administration of a different state, galkacyo in all honesty is a united under the administration of PL, and its has its ups and down just like any city in somalia, I.e hargaysa, bosaso, kismayo, mugdishu .

Xaaji Xunjuf;926504 wrote: Galkacyo is still divided two clans in the same city who cant share the city under one admin After galkacyo kismayo is the second most divided city what a mess actually that would be hargaysa it wasnt long ago when lives were lost over land grabbing in the city by the ruling clan in the triangle, and even before that wasn't there a scandal over the distribution of UN food aid that left man orphans. I would say get your house in order before you intrude on the affairs of others, just friendly advice.

New commander of the Armed forces of Somalia
Sulleiman The Great replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
good stuff however I fear the legitimacy of the SNA will be compromised if all the high ranking members are southerners, there are men of equal stature who have served dutifully the somali people, and just because their service was not in mugdishu does not make it any less respectable , I hope we see a more diverse group of military elite, if not i fear it wont be long before the seeds of mistrust flourish and each region feel the need to have its own military capable of defending itself from the SNA. -

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black LOL I wonder what hardened somaliland believers will do when the project comes to complete failure, you dont need much to change somaliland political outlook, just some powerful freinds in high places, we will see how long a house of cards can withstand the ocean breeze.

its funny to see how people like haji think, the people in mugdishu who actually think they will have rule over the country because they currently occupy the capital when all is said and done, those in mugdishu will be the ones losing power, as the capital will be integrated into a federal system, in the future somalia there might not be a strong political counter weight such as Puntland the state might lose its autonomy and be relegated to being just another state, however puntlander will always be a political power house in the somalia and we all know what I mean when I say puntlanders, in the future puntland as a state might be getting order from the federal government but puntlanders as a people will be the ones giving those orders, it wont be long before reer mugdishu are politically and economically out competed, this time however there wont be a weak/divided SNA that will allow the capital to fall to the hands of mooriyans, I see a political system much like the one in ethiopia an oromo capital under the rule of tigrayan elite.

The somali's would essentially be wiped out, and hot headed morons who are a safe distance a way would do absolutely nothing, if you are really passionate About somali one should criticize those who want to escalate the violence, we have more to lose saxib so let keep a calm head.
