You're talking about a hypothetical "if" and if that's the case, there's nothing wrong with that. That's what the system was designed for and we as Muslims should help out with.

They get accepted only because a race "quota" has to be fulfilled. There's also a side effect where black kids aren't really sure if they got accepted because of their grades and their level of competitiveness or because of the need to fill a "quota" which isn't a good thing.

True, however African-American's aren't the only ones that are being disenfranchised. A Black person in an inner-city school faces the same problem as a rural white kid when it comes to academics. What's the problem with income based AA?

Oba's issue is understandable, many Somalis make the same claim but at the same time I feel as if this whole who is Somali and who isn't should be dropped. Somalis are people who are born in Somalia period, no need to discriminate. Leezu on the other hand is on something else.
