Farmaajo-Saakin-Gaas-Faroole have all united to fight against Cali Khalif Galaydh and making sure he doesn't get the Speaker of Parliament position. Shariff Saakin has been bribed by Puntland to ensure that the Speaker Parliament goes to Juurile. Saakin, along with Puntland has gather about 75 votes for Juurile so far, thru loyalty and bribes. Farmaajo on the other hand, blind from what Faroole-Gaas are doing behind closed doors with Saakin is fighting to keep his hopes alive. He has been given false hopes by Saakin and Gaas to stay in the candidacy and fight against Cali Khalif to gain any votes. Basically, Farmaajo's supporters will vote for Jawaari. Saakin knows Jawaari won't get enough votes to beat both Cali Khalif or Juurile. The final battle will be between Cali Khalif and Juurile. Juurile is working for Faroole and Puntland, while Cali Khalif is against Faroole (allegedly) and is there on behalf of Khaatumo. If Sheikh Shariff wins, he will most likely choose Abdikarim Jama as his Prime Minister. For Khaatumo, it's a winning goal against Puntland. I'm officially on Team Cali Khalif:

Inside sources are saying Faroole's camp (Puntland) are holding serious negotiations with a lot of the Parliamentarians. They're trying to bribe their way into winning the Speaker of Parliament position. Everytime a Parliamentarian that was bribed finds out that another Parliamentarian has been bribed with more money than him, the isqab-qabsi begins, thus the postponing occurs.

What amazes me is how the "Mighty Puntlanders", whom had their heads held up high, looking towards the Presidential post and nothing other, are today competing against the very Khaatumo clan whom they considered a "No Threat" or perhaps Cali Khalif Galaydh, whom they thought was incompetent to ever win any votes whatsoever. Cali Khalif hovering above the Faroole camp like the Galaydh he is. He is what you really call a "Siyaasi". The entire Puntland camp has given up hope on both the Prime Minister post and the Presidential post. Last week, the Speaker of Parliament post was irrelevant. Almost everyone was focusing on the Presidential post and the PM post. The Galaydh, The Siyaasi, made an extraordinary move towards the Speaker post and that itself was a game changer. I'm 100% positive Galaydh will get the most votes. However, if Puntland bribes the Parliamentarians and asks them to vote for their man running for the Speaker, due to loosing hope for the PM and Presidential posts, than that too is a possibility.

Why does it concern you so much? Are you from the same clan as Cali Khalif? It baffles me to see many, especially from Puntland, who are not from the same clan as Cali Khalif to be so concern in the affairs of Cali Khalif and his clan. Whether they join Mars or Jupitar or declare their own State, the Khaatumo clan have every right to do whatever they want without your approval or the approval of Puntland. I love to say that I fail to see where the anger is coming from, but I know why Puntlanders are pissed off at Khaatumo clan. Prior to 1998, there was never any Political alliance between Khaatumo clan and Puntland clan. The Political/Military alliance between the two clans lasted for only a decade. What did Khaatumo clan do? They simply cut the political ties with their Puntland cousins. What did Puntland clan do? They insulted, accused Khaatumo clan of terrorism and went as far as restoring "Brotherly" connections with Somaliland or SNM, the very same people that has been waging attack against Puntland since 1998, all to sabotage the Khaatumo unity.

The greatest mistake Puntland made was when they isolated the SSC clan back in 2007. Abdullahi Yusuf was still a "President" of the TFG, Puntland was stable and almost 90% of SSC people supported Puntland at that time. 3 years went by, by 2010 when the SSC Movement was declared and Puntland didn't do anything for SSC. No military support, no signs of willing to fight to liberate Lasanod. Puntland's isolation of SSC was a political suicide. Abdullahi Yusuf was well aware of it and Cali Khalif took advantage of it.

Please, elaborate. You mention Khaatumo as if it's a disease. Doesn't Cali Khalif along with majority of his clan have the right to create their own Federal State within Somalia, consisting of the territories his clan settles in Sanaag, Sool and South-Eastern Togdheer?

This is a slight ditch on the road for Khaatumo and Cali Khalif. But, I bet Cali Khalif is singing right about now, "I got 99 problems and Puntland ain't one".lol
