Silanyo has no fear of Al-Shabaab whatsoever huh. This surely does raise some red flags. -
Isku filnaan -- Puntland farmer produce enough greens for Puntland
SomaliPhilosopher replied to Mooge's topic in Politics
If Somalia came together and operated as a nation with an interlinked economy, Puntland would not need to spend its efforts on farming. regional specialization. -
Oh no, not another xaliimo talking about it again
SomaliPhilosopher replied to Mooge's topic in General
hayee lets say FGM is a problem, why are you complaining and preaching to white ppl miles and miles away? You want them to send their missionaries and civilize us barbaric FGM practicing Africans? At least take such such talks to where its being practiced. Talk to the "victim" not an irrelevant stakeholder if you perceive it to be such a grave issue. Or are you afraid? Or you don't know Somali? Or you want the Brits help? Or you just want to make public of this "problem" rather than fix it? -

Turning screws on Somalis will force them reveal attacks
SomaliPhilosopher replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
idk i guess since its not news and more of a piece. but the guy is known as a satirical writer. though given the climate it can easily be read at face value -
^^ Many of the deportees were ID holders; some had mandates, which allowed them to stay in the city, the other alien cards for the camps. Even reports have it some Somali-Kenyans were deported. there is a case of a mentally ill man from Wajir who was deported to Mogadishu Wednesday And what do you mean get their papers? Kenya has closed registration for asylum seekers years ago....

Turning screws on Somalis will force them reveal attacks
SomaliPhilosopher replied to Che -Guevara's topic in Politics
its a satire. -
Chaos in Eastleigh sure has taken a turn, with the first wave of Somalis deported on Wednesday; many possessed the proper legal papers, and most were women and children. Hassan Sheikh is done. This moment has surely tainted his career. He will not be able to revive. At least he will be able to keep his Nairobi home. Though, he will certainly have new neighbors. We shall patiently wait for new leadership in 2016 to come and let us down again once more.

Ducaale is a confused man. One day he says he is leaving the government out of protest. The next he says I aint going anywhere. His Machakos comments are also not the most wise. Though, these folks don't need a consistent man or a wise man at the moment, they need someone to keep their spirits high. at least he is doing that.

Somalians return to their Capital safe and Happy
SomaliPhilosopher replied to malistar2012's topic in Politics
I spoke with the dear ambassador earlier today. I am not a fan of the way he his handling the situation. Though it appears he is just acting in accordance to the Government stance. Nevertheless Malistar if you don't realize the political and soon to be humanitarian damage caused by the way the Somali government has handled this I am sorry. -

@OdaySomali said: I don't see what your point is? Are you insinuating that because they are from Mogadishu and the South they cannot live or invest in Boosaaso, Hargeisa, Garowe, Boorama, Sheikh, Qardho, Burao, Berbera, Erigaabo etc.? My experience from having visited those places actually tells me otherwise. There are plenty of people from Mogadishu and the South in many of those cities already. For example, many of the storeowners in the city centres of Hargeisa and Burao are actually from the south (from Beledweyne to Mogadishu). You have to bear in mind that before the war many Mogadishans owned houses in Hargeisa and other cities in the north and they still own those houses and live in them (unlike Mogadishu in Hargeisa houses were reclaimed by their owners fairly quickly i.e. mid 90's). There are also thousands of IDP from the Southern regions in those cities. If you are suggesting that they cannot feel at home in northern Somali cities, I am surprised that you think they can or will feel at home in gaalo Kenyan cities and refugee camps? Like I said: there are many dynamics to this in terms of the Somali refugee and local politics of the places you mention... The fact that you compare IDPs to living in Nairobi demonstrates your level of understanding on this issue, which I don't have the energy to engage with at the moment.
