This raises the issue-- what is the vision of the Somali Diaspora? Will they stay, assimilate, and gain political footing in their 'new' countries or will they return to Somalia, or even other more suitable African/Muslim countries, as they are now? Will the anticipated return by at least some Somalis hinder the assimilation process for the rest?
