Belgium Paper apologises showing obamas as apes.
DoctorKenney replied to burahadeer's topic in Politics
Reminds me of when Mario Balotelli is playing soccer in Europe, and the fans in the stadium throw bananas at him and make monkey sounds. It's actually quite common to have this attitude in Europe. You'd think America's a racist society but Europe is much worse -
I won't wiggle out of it, because you want to dismiss the universal and unanimous understanding of this verse from Arabic Scholars, Medieval scholars, Modern scholars and even Orientalists just so you can say "Oh the word marriage wasn't said explicitly so therefore he's offering his daughters for prostitution". In the Arabic language, inferences are made in verses even when the word isn't said explicitly. It's used in almost every single Quranic chapter. This is why brackets have to be added in English translations so the meaning doesn't get lost when translating. End it, you're an amateur. I don't wish to continue

@Khayr said: What classical tafsir equates the word فِعل with rape? How did he condone the raping of his daughters? How in the world did you come to that conclusion unless of course you are doing your job from anti-islam cites? That's exactly what he's doing bro. There's no critical thinking abilities on AllYourBase's part. It's just copying/pasting irrelevant arguments on this forum and attempting to pass it off as fact. This is a very disgusting allegation, and it shows that he's not interested in truth-seeking or anything of the sort So let's just kill the discussion.
-
There you go again. I have no interest in addressing these claims, as Lot offering his daughters in lawful marriage to these men would automatically result in you assuming that he's selling them for sex. I've no benefit in involving myself and this forum in such degrading and pointless discussions. Let Shaykh AllYourBase decide for us what's written in our Book, while he arrogantly believes that his mighty copying/pasting powers will take over. P.S. AllYourBase, due to your previous earlier inability to articulate a coherent worldview in which you can judge Islamic Doctrine, then all of your assertions and allegations against Islam automatically become invalid. Your copying/pasting material (which has been previously refuted) from anti-Islamic websites with no input of your own amounts to nothing but laziness and lack of thinking on your part.
-
Okay You're going to keep insisting on doing this. Whether I rebuke you or not And I really have no interest in continuing this pointless banter with you. Refer back to my 1st post on this thread.
-
Hope all is well too Nice job trying to fit your own twisted interpretation into it. And then attempt to dismiss the common understanding as "modern apologetics" Iska amuus saaxib

@Khayr said: Offbase, You always baffle me. I can't have a debate with insanity. I only debate sane people. Your conclusion is so far fetched that I am trying to figure out how you made those connections and rape and giving one's offsprings for rape? Bro....we should know by now AllYourBase's tactics. He's gonna make an untrue and sometimes a ridiculous claim, and then expect us Muslims to sink to his level by being forced to address him for the sake of clarity. It's a disgusting game all around....being played by someone who has no intention on having his points addressed, but just registers for the point of smearing us. Remember ....If you throw xaar at the wall.....The xaar might not stick. But it'll still leave a big stain on the wall. And that's his whole game here
-
AllYourBase, that was absolutely disgusting. You just inserted your own interpretations into a Quranic verse and implied that the Prophet Lot offered his own daughters for prostitution to deter them from homosexual acts! You are despicable You blatantly lied here, inserted your own theories, and then slyly attempt to place the burden of proof on Tallaabo. If there's a deceptive character on this forum, it's you.

Xaaji I used to prevent myself from referring to Somaliland as a "Tribal Republic" until the people of Sool and Sanaag wanted to form a Federal State within a United Somalia, but the clan-inspired secessionists wanted to prevent this from happening. It's funny how they're so adamant on their own "self-determination" but they want to deny this self-determination to others under their control! And that lady Edna Adan, the main proponent of Somaliland Nationhood, seems to think of Somaliland as a Tribal Republic also. Remember that Mo Farah incident? Remember how when Somalis all over the globe celebrated Mo Farah's victory in the 2012 Olympics, and then Edna Adan said publically "Even though Mo Farah was born in Mogadishu but currently lives in London, he's a Somalilander based purely on his tribal descent. So therefore, other Somalis from the South have no right to celebrate his successes." That's her perspective of Somaliland. A Tribal Republic. If a Somali Sijui who lives in Garissa is from the same clan as her, she will call him a "Somalilander" based ONLY on his tribal affiliation. And this is undeniable
-
Homunculus, I want to incriminate this CidanSultan character by using his own words. And I've warned Xaaji that sinking down to CidanSultan's level would only make him look bad. But Xaaji isn't becoming "more like him", he's just showing his true character. CidanSultan is bringing out the true Xaaji and it's not pretty
-
CidanSultan so you are advocating that your Tribal Republic should conquer and annex Puntland State? Perhaps clear out the original inhabitants of Puntland and march them down South? Perhaps create some more "living space" for Somaliland citizens, and control a territory which is more than half the size of Somalia?

Somaliland mobilizes its troops in eastern sanaag
DoctorKenney replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
@Xaaji Xunjuf said: How come you Criticize Ciidanssultan why did you not mention the guy with the name Somalia rising is it because he is from your clan you gave him a free pass. First off Xaaji I am not aware of what clan SomaliaRising belongs to nor do I care what his particular clan affiliation is. Second of all CidanSultan has been doing this tough-guy act from the day he registered on this forum From the way he talks, Cidan has more animosity towards Somalia than even the Ajnaabis so you can't compare the two. He's dragging you down to his level. And you're falling for it -

This dog CidanSultan has really reduced the quality of the forum wallahi. This forum is starting to resemble others, with the tribalism and tough talk. Cidansultan has even dragged Xaaji down to his level, with this nonsense talk. -
A Somali organization that denies the existence of Somali people.
DoctorKenney replied to Safferz's topic in General
Safferz I'm sure there must be an underlying rationale as to why Mr. Hussen would be opposed to such a task-force. It can't be something as benign as "We're opposed to this measure because we are not just Somalis, but we are Canadians who happen to be of Somali descent" Maybe Mr Hussen doesn't like some of the recommendations proposed in the Task Force? There should be a public forum where we exchange these ideas, as Somalis. It'd be a better idea than airing out our grievances to the media before we work out a proper solution Maybe the Somalis in Toronto should create an indigenous, grassroots based program where we address the high dropout rates of the Somali students. -
If Xunjuf was asked to solve the Somali stalemate
DoctorKenney replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
<citeput forth href=" http://www.somaliaonline.com/members/Xaaji Xunjuf/" rel="nofollow">@Xaaji Xunjuf said: Doctor i wonder how the world works u called Somaliland the alcoholic man of the Somalis, now how is that so when Somaliland is the best functioning part of the former defunct Somali republic a country that held several elections and is moving forward with good governance a thriving private sector peace stability justice system a parliament that works an elected parliament, i mean if Somaliland is the drunkard i wonder what Somalia is a crackhead who is being drugged by black gangsters (AU troops) Poor analogy I made Xaaji. I know it sounds insulting and I apologize for that. The reason why I put forth this story was to emphasize that Somalilanders will never choose to get along with Somalia even though we're family....and Somalilanders stance and attitude could even damage Somalia in the long run so it's best to let them go separate ways. If someone's entire existence and political actions are based on mocking Somalia and attempting to distance yourself from "Koonfurians", then that's the type of attitude that can poison any country and it'd be best to separate yourself from such negativity -

@SomaliaRising said: Brothers stop it. We must unite against the enemy. HAG , Sahal and RJ's must unite. Bro, Xabad is a Kaafir Atheist who's already been banned from this forum once for his insults and extreme views. To think I'm going to entertain or even acknowledge him is too much. He knows I have nothing but contempt for him yet the pig continues to address me. -

If Xunjuf was asked to solve the Somali stalemate
DoctorKenney replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
I think a worthy compromise would be to give each district in Sool and Sanaag a vote on whether they want to join Somaliland or Somalia. That would satisfy both sides. Perhaps the Somaliland State can extend up until Erigaabo, but that's it. There is no way I am going to tolerate Lascaanod (the city where my tribe is from) being annexed by Somaliland. Believe me saaxib. Somalia is like an elephant compared to the triangle-state, and if we get our act together, we would be far bigger, more prosperous, and stronger militarily than Somaliland. Perhaps in 2 decades, when the facts on the ground change, the Somalilanders will see the errors in their way and try to reunite with Somalia. The same way East Germany reunited with West Germany after 40 years of separation -

DoctorKenney replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Somaliland is like the Alcoholic Brother you share a house with. The brother might be irritating, violent, rude, unpredictable and messy, but he's still your brother so you put up with it. The brother might irritate you, the other siblings and your parents, but you have to grit your teeth and tolerate his behavior because he's family. But sooner or later, if his behavior gets even worse, and your safety and well-being is at stake....then you gotta do the right thing and kick him out of the house, and help him find a new apartment. That's Somaliland. Cut them loose. Let them have their 3-city Triangle State if that'll pacify them. If that's the only way to get rid of the bad blood between us. Maybe in 20 years they'll see the errors of their ways and try and return to the Somali Union, inshaAllah -

DoctorKenney replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
@Cadale said: LOOOOOL. this xunjuf guy is so unrealistic.. If i was Hassan sheikh i would create a powerful amniyat type of intelligence service with soldiers consisting of every somali clan, making random attacks on Al shabaab supporters and al shabaab soldiers. Every al shabaab soldier captured would be publically executed, i would also put pressure on clans supporting Al shabaab. I would also create a strong diciplined army. I would go hard on takfiiri elements and salaf's and i would decrease their influence in the somali society. I would start radio programs teaching the people about peace, governing, educate the people that Al shabaab is not the solution. That was amazing wallahi.... Putting severe pressure on Clan Elders and creating an elite Somali Revolutionary Guard and also launching a Propaganda War against Al-Shabab are all wonderful ideas and should be implemented by the current President Xunjuf has a poisonous mentality and would like nothing more to undermine the well-being of Somalia if that means his 3 city Republic gains independence How can we share a country with people like him? Cut them loose. -
If Xunjuf was asked to solve the Somali stalemate
DoctorKenney replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Xaaji....if the Somalia Government was dealing with Xisbul Islam or the Islamic Courts that would be a whole different story. This is a whole different snake. This is Al Shabab...the group that actually thinks they're capable of attacking Britain or Turkey in their current state. They're not rational actors. There can't be any negotiating with that Snake Ahmed Godane nor with any of his supporters -
And why is that Safferz? What's wrong with the title?
-
Xaaji, that's not a valid point, since Shabaab is the one that's behind the insecurity in the regions of Somalia that don't lie under their control. They're the ones behind the mortars, the suicide attacks, the random killings of civilians, etc. So of course when they seize control over an area (like in 2009), there's going to be relative "peace". Because they're the ones who were behind the insecurity in the 1st place! How does something as simple as that not register with you? And if you consider the random searching of civilians, killings of people on mere suspicions, arbitrarily banning anything they deem to be "haraam" and then killing anyone who disagrees with them, punishing people without due process and proper procedure, not setting up proper institutions, not setting up a representative government, not creating an economic framework to help drag Somalia out of the mess that it's in, not forming relationships with foreign governments and having a domestic plan to revive our country. If you consider all of that as "good governance", then maybe your 3-city Republic can start implementing some of their same governance tactics, and we will see on whether the Somaliland citizens would be happy with it! Put your money where your mouth is. Let's see how Somalilanders react towards this

Propaganda video by terrorists who don't know the first thing about governing a country.

Xabad I behave the same way towards Non-Somalis who have strong opinions on Somali internal issues. Or non-family members having strong opinions over what goes on within a family. You stick to where you belong. It's the height of disrespect for you to get involved in a debate which you have no vested interest in. Learn your place
