@xabad said: Somalia is about to face a famine worse than the one in 2011. poor babies will once again expire right in front of tv cameras. casual suffering has become the norm. i really wouldn't mind contraceptives being mixed in with food aid to prevent needless agony. Contraceptives would at most, slightly reduce population growth in Somalia. What we need, is better farming techniques and higher farmer productivity. Also, a lot of the land in southern Somalia which is arable, isn't being used for farming.

@Miyir said: lol what reunification/separation DR? i don't know what kind of mind altering you guys use? trust me I want some! It's called magic mushrooms saaxib. Very powerful drug with powerful hallucination side-effects. Try it, you won't regret it

@Miyir said: Coofle a Qat induced project still a bad project no matter how you rationalize it. The difference between Puntland and Somaliland project is little indoctrination, we just need you guys deprogrammed again. . Miyir shouldn't we focus on grassroots nation-building before we even begin talking about the reunification of Somalia and Somaliland? Coofle isn't against a unified Somalia, he's just thinking practically and looking at the long-term goals here. If we have separation now, there's no reason to think we'd be separated forever. Things can change in a couple generations

The Birth Of A New Reality In The Middle East

@Deeq said: You clearly did what I told you not to do, make an ass of yourself, well done mate When I said tolerance, I specifically meant tolerance towards people's comments and you did exactly what I told you to avoid, by bashing me. Sometimes its good to make your emotions sit back for a bit snd let your brain take charge. As for these "mentalised CIA project" I dont give 2 toots about Arabs fighting one another. My feelings, my opionions. What to bash me now for that aswell? Do you expect me to not say anything in response to his comments? Is that the "intolerance" you're speaking of, or is it simply me making the case that I strongly disagreed with what Tallaabo said earlier in the thread? And it's nothing personal with him. I really do like him. But he said something, I didn't agree with what he said, so I responded. But I didn't insult him in the original post. And if someone doesn't like what I said, then I expect him to respond strongly to me, and to criticize me, and I more than welcome the criticism. Say what you want to say, but I suggest you avoid saying anything if you're concerned that your feelings might get hurt. -
Khazar's Leaving Europe As The Far Right And Muslim Populations Grow
DoctorKenney replied to CidanSultan's topic in Politics
Cidan, what's the environment like in Europe for Muslims, Jews, Blacks and Indians? I'm hearing that ever since the financial crisis in 2009, Europe has been moving further and further right-wing. There have been more incidents of Islamophobia than ever before, and Europeans are growing more Nationalist. And do you think that's bad news for Somalis and Muslims who live in Europe? -
@xabad said: Haye, adigu gormaad SL guulwade u noqotay ?? if SL gains independence as a republic kulaha. adeer ileen you were covert I-lander kumanan ogeyn. no need to hide your clan sxb just be free like the rest of your pple. anyways, skinnies should understand that their social organization; clans and sub clan, their fractious and suspicious nature precludes the establishment of a modern functioning nation state. the best system would be sub clan bantustans, which form a loose confederation. this is only way to long term stability and some development. You're not even Somali. So I don't know why this is even an issue. I don't want to see Somalilanders fighting amongst themselves, the same way I don't want Puntlanders fighting, the same way I don't want HAG fighting.

Smartlander says "they're my brothers" but in the same sentence he says "but I hate them" Authubilah. If Somaliland does gain independence as a Republic, then there needs to be work done against people like Smartlander. People like him would probably divide Somaliland even further. What an absolute embarrassment. Please stay far away from politics

Inside Uzbekistan where you could be killed for reading the Quran.
DoctorKenney replied to CidanSultan's topic in Politics
I've read about this before. The President of that country is an unashamed dictator yet for some reason he enjoys a good relationship with Hillary Clinton. So the USA will stand for human rights, but only when it suits their interests authubilah. This country's been poisoned with Soviet doctrine for 70 years. And it's done a lot of damage to the people -
@xabad said: why can't you two go fight in Gaza if you care about it so much, all this bro'ing just because you have found a lowest common denominator in jew bashing. skinnies always following their ayrab masters conflicts. You expect us Muslims to just have a careless mentality of what goes on in the world around us. That if it doesn't occur in Somalia/Somaliland, then that means we shouldn't care nor should we have an opinion at all. You expect us to not have any principles that we should stand by, regardless of ethnicity or language. Some things are just far more important than that. But you don't see it, because you're an Atheist. You only see what's in front of you. You only care about what affects you directly.

Is this the type of talk you want, to divide Somaliland? Like, I'm honestly wondering saaxib, if you want to secede from Somalia and form your own independent peaceful and stable Republic, then this type of talk is unwarranted and just showcases your short-sighted and primitive 20th century African mindset. Instead of treating them like brothers, you insult them on this forum You should be ashamed of yourself

Hope may fade because of incompetence and tribalism.
DoctorKenney replied to galbeedi's topic in Politics
I see nothing wrong or worrisome with Sahal's intentions and objectives. I WANT to Sahal to succeed in their objectives. Why on Earth do we Somalis want to return to the failed government structure and policies of the Kacaan Dictator? Mogadishu is filled with control-freaks who want to control every inch of our country, including Somaliland and Puntland. And they do NOT want to see the people govern their own territories in any meaningful way. All Somalis should oppose this agenda. It's an agenda which has harmed our country, even during the peaceful Kacaan era. It sucked all the resources and opportunity from the country and concentrated it in Mogadishu, and nowhere else. I think Sahal should play a major role in convincing the Somalis in Hiiraan, Baydhabo, Galguduud and others to oppose these Centralists and pressure them to sit down and shut up -
Bro, the Zionists accused Amare Stoudemire and Dwight Howard (two NBA Basketball players) of Anti-Semitism because they tweeted "Free Palestine" on their Twitter pages. These Jews DO NOT BELIEVE IN FREEDOM OF SPEECH. They claim they do believe in it, but as soon as you criticize them, they want to shut you down. They can't take any criticism. They're the most sensitive people on Earth. Can you believe that? These Basketball players were bullied into submission by the Zionists, and weren't even allowed to tweet what was on their mind. Absolutely sickening.

I don't even have a problem with a "Jewish homeland", as long as they set up their "homeland" in Alaska or a portion of Canada or some other place that's empty and barren. But setting up your "homeland" in a land where people already live is something that's intolerable. If the Jews want to have their own autonomy and self-determination, then take off a piece of Russia and build your nation there. Their claim to the land of Palestine is very weak. According to the Torah, the Ancient Jews lived in that land of Palestine for a grand total of only 600 years. And that was like 3000 years ago. The Arabs lived there longer, so did the Romans, the Turks, the Romans, the Canaanites and many other civilizations and peoples. Why is the land exclusively for the Jews? Why do they have the right to call it their own, but not others? Is it because they might have had some vague connection to the land 3000 years ago? Are they not aware of how ridiculous they sound? You're gonna set up your foreign policy based on where some Ancient Jews lived 3000 years ago?

The irony of ironies loool. The Palestinians are the actual "Jews" who these Eastern European Zionists are discriminating against and oppressing. They assume that because the Palestinians speak Arabic, that they're descended from the Arabs from Mecca or Medina. These people don't understand that "Arab" and "Arabian" are not the same thing. The Prophet was Arabian. His family and the people who lived in Medina, Mecca, Taif, Jeddah, etc. were Arabians. But when the Islamic Empire spread it's borders, and it incorporated many different groups of people, the people adopted the Arabic language and adopted SOME parts of Arabian culture, but that doesn't change their ethnic makeup. They're "Arabs" but they're not really Arabian. That's why if you visit Syria you'll see many Syrian "Arabs" who are White with blonde hair and blue eyes. But if you visit Oman you'll see black Arabs, some of them even darker than Somalis. They're not an ethnic group. They're simply a language group. You'd be silly to believe that all of the people who live from Morocco, to Algeria, Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iraq and the Gulf countries are all from the same ethnic group. So it's very understandable that the Lebanese, Palestinians, and the Syrians are descended from the groups of people who lived in that region for thousands of years. Them adopting the Arabic language doesn't change anything

@Miyir said: ECO friendly lol they may as well eat cake! this MEN/WOMEN may not be so hip to your standard, what they have done is to give a whole nation an act to follow, such a risk but they did it, lets congratulate them, we need more like them so one day we will do you know the ECO friendly thing! pioneers LOL Next thing you know he'll expect a Starbucks in Hargeisa selling fair-trade latte's. The Birth Of A New Reality In The Middle East
DoctorKenney replied to CidanSultan's topic in Politics
@Deeq said: These dogs can be dogs, but what they spesk of in terms of zionism is the truth. That is why people support them. They stating facts. Its like yourself, which news outlet do your prefer? Bbc, Presstv, Somali news? Al Jazerra? The point is you have a chosen outlet just like everywhere else. P.s., please do not come with that 'I dont watch or read news'. One way or another, you get it from a source you prefer just like people look into zionist through the lens of duke and others. I cannot stand people who want to feel suprior whenever one makes a comment. Tolerance my friend! Everybody has an opionion or a chosen field/subject/source - just respect that instead of criticising and making an ass of yourself (just keeping it real) Tolerating them and dealing with them amicably is one thing. Praising them and their agenda and hoping their objectives succeed is something totally different. You can't compare the two. I don't WANT to see Sunnis and Shias fighting, I want to see them getting along, but I would never praise the Shia ideology and I'll describe it the way I see it. Stop being wishy-washy. There are some principles that you should never compromise on, and you should grow a backbone and say what you mean. -
What's going on in Hargeisa is very impressive, good work

Hope may fade because of incompetence and tribalism.
DoctorKenney replied to galbeedi's topic in Politics
So the Tribalism is so severe that Government officials would rather appoint their clansmen than appoint a competent person to do the job? I think that's terrible but at the same time I can understand the logic here. In a country like Somalia, at war with itself, sometimes the only person you can really trust is your brother or cousin. Sometimes the risks are too high for you to surround yourself with officers who may be competent, but they could also put your life at risk. We all know about how the Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was assassinated by one of her Sikh bodyguards. Or how Egyptian President Anwar Sadat was assassinated by one of his bodyguards in 1981. Sometimes you have to surround yourself with officers, bodyguards and soldiers which you trust, and as a result you have to appoint your clansmen. Sometimes the stakes are way too high. And maybe the Somali Prime Minister or President doesn't want to appoint someone he doesn't trust to a position of high power, as it could undermine his authority. I don't endorse this, but I understand the logic here. However much I disagree with this, it is what it is. And it's because of the distrust amongst the Somali population. And trust takes years--even decades--to rebuild. Galbeedi, maybe Somalia needs either 1 of 2 options; either we elect a strong, fair man to the Presidency, a man who is patriotic and has a clear vision on how to rebuild the country from the ground up. Or we could take the cue from others and just massively de-centralize our country into several Emirates who have almost complete autonomy. Even Somaliland is taking the cue and de-centralizing, as many of the people who live in Sool and Sanaag are the ones taking charge of the affairs of their region. But there is no way we can continue on in this trajectory. -
The Birth Of A New Reality In The Middle East
DoctorKenney replied to CidanSultan's topic in Politics
The fact that these Shia's want to spread their Shirk-Ideology to the rest of the Muslim World is enough of a reason to be wary of them. They're attempting to build Shia mosques in Africa and want to spread their Shirk beliefs. They've perverted the concept of Tawheed. Instead of making du'a to Allah, they make du'a to Ali or Hussein or Fatima, which is despicable and makes them no different than the Catholic Christians who pray to Jesus or the Virgin Mary. -
The Birth Of A New Reality In The Middle East

@Tallaabo said: I support Iran and Hisbullah :-D They are truely courageous and not slaves of the Zionist controlled western nations like the fat ugly Arab dictators. May Allah help our shia brothers. Do you also support North Korea because they're not the "slaves" of the Zionist controlled Western nations? What about the Socialist Prick Hugo Chavez? What about the racist Ku Klux Klan Leader David Duke, who is also opposed to the Zionist controlled Western nations? Why would you support these dogs simply because of their opposition to the Zionists? What kind of logic is that? -
The Birth Of A New Reality In The Middle East
DoctorKenney replied to CidanSultan's topic in Politics
Coofle, it's a little strange to see CidanSultan condemn Al Shabab but in the same sentence praise ISIS. They're two extremist militant groups which are one and the same. And BTW Xabad is not Muslim so I doubt your words would have any effect on him. -
The Birth Of A New Reality In The Middle East
DoctorKenney replied to CidanSultan's topic in Politics
Isn't one of the traits of the Khawaarij the extreme lack of knowledge? This new group in the Middle East has been universally condemned by Muslim groups and scholars, their leaders have displayed an extreme lack of knowledge and wisdom, and they're known to be more ruthless towards their own Muslim brothers then they are to others. Instead of seeking to educate, they want to destroy. -
@xabad said: Pan somali ideology ?? Stop grasping at yesterday's failed solutions and aspirations. what the country needs is division into clan fiefdoms at the smallest level. Nothing else will do. Exactly. Then after a few generations, a pan-Somali ideology can grow organically from the grassroots level, which will set the stage for a future united Somali Republic. But for the time being, clan fiefdoms is the only solution

Watch when our disgusting politicians sell our oil fields to foreign corporations for a few dollars. Hassan Sheikh and politicians like him would probably get paid a couple million dollars by ExxonMobil or Chevron and then sign an unfair contract with these foreign corporations. Then the politicians will take their suitcase full of money and then retire in Malaysia or Tanzania or Egypt. They sold out their country but hey, who cares if you got rich as a result, right? Prove me wrong. With all that's happened in Somalia lately, this is a very likely possibility
