Breaking news Puntland Cuts Ties with Xamar due to Central State
DoctorKenney replied to Adam's topic in Politics
Adam, nobody is listening to you when you say "It happened with the full blessing of the USA and Nicholas Kay" If you were sincere, you would call for the people of Mudug to vote on it. Let them decide whether they want to be part of Puntland, or be part of this new Central State -
The People of Palestine. Should they move to the Sinai??
DoctorKenney replied to DoctorKenney's topic in Politics
And I know people will talk about Al Aqsa mosque and how it'd be deplorable to have the Palestinians give up Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem. The Israelis already control Al Aqsa, they are already expelling Palestinians from Jerusalem. And the Palestinians are in NO position to defend themselves. They're clearly out-gunned and they have no military to speak of. Whereas Israel has a very advanced military and intelligence service. The Prophet left Mecca and he left behind the Kaaba to the polytheists. He and his followers were being persecuted and they had no choice but to leave Mecca, as the situation was getting worse day-by-day. He came back 8 years later at the head of a triumphant Army. And he took Mecca without a fight. The Palestinian civilians are the ones suffering as a result of the current weakness of the Muslims. And there's no reason why we should play politics and allow this disgusting situation to continue. They should strategically withdraw from that land. -
All my life, I've heard stories and read news reports of Palestinians being abused at the hands of Israelis for the last 60 or so years. Israeli land has expanded at the expense of Palestinian land, and they are repeatedly denied their right to self-determination by the Israelis, who clearly have the upper hand. Most people/countries support a 2 State Solution, including the United States and even Israel. But the 2 State Solution is impossible, as there are almost half a million Jewish Settlers in the West Bank, and the rest of the Palestinians are scattered together in a land which is blockaded, has illegal checkpoints and giant walls. The facts on the ground speak for themselves. The Prime Minister of Israel Netanyahu even admitted that even if Palestine was given Statehood, that the Israelis would NEVER leave the West Bank. And they continue to blockade Gaza. So what's the solution? How much longer can they live like this? Wouldn't it be a better idea for Egypt and Jordan to just absorb Palestine? If Jordan takes the West Bank entirely, and if Egypt annexes the Gaza Strip, wouldn't this benefit the welfare and well-being of the Palestinian people? What if the Palestinians were given a piece of the Sinai Peninsula and then form their own state there? I mean, the Sinai is vast. Palestine is tiny, the West Bank is half the size of Metro Philadelphia. That is TINY. And not only that, there are half a million Jewish settlers living there squeezed in with 4 million Palestinians. It's a deplorable situation. And the Gaza Strip is even smaller than that. Knowing how small the West Bank is, and how small the Gaza Strip is, wouldn't an appropriate solution be, to give Palestinians 1/5th of the Sinai Peninsula, so they can establish their own State? 1/5th of that land would be 12,000 square kilometers, which is about the size of Philadelphia and more than double the size of the West Bank The Sinai is very lightly populated anyways. Most Egyptians don't live anywhere near that area. And a small Palestinian State could benefit the people there. They wouldn't have to live under constant threat of bombardment and they wouldn't be blockaded. And they can form their own society without Israel on their back

Breaking news Puntland Cuts Ties with Xamar due to Central State
DoctorKenney replied to Adam's topic in Politics
Warya Adam, you just want to do whatever's possible to humiliate Puntland. I see the way you're talking on this forum whenever Puntland is ever mentioned. I know many Puntlanders who absolutely refuse to give up Mudug so who are you to try and say "Oh since the IC is saying that Puntland should give up Mudug, then Puntland must accept it." All of Mudug should go to Puntland. The rest can form a Federal State consisting of Shabelleda Dhexe and Hiiraan and Galguduud. If you want to get rid of "Clan Federalism" as you say, then stop being a hypocrite, practice what you preach, and let the HAG people who live in Lower Mudug be part of Puntland State. -
Breaking news Puntland Cuts Ties with Xamar due to Central State
DoctorKenney replied to Adam's topic in Politics
@galbeedi said: Dr.K, that adding Mudug to puntland is sharing and real federalism. As you said a different group , the HAG will be big part of Puntland. So far I didn't hear one single Puntlander saying all Mudug should join Puntland. They saying the status quo shouldn't be changed. They want three Districts and the other two to go to the central state. I saw the C/weli"s speech. That is how modern leaders address their constituents. having said that , on the issue of Central state and his sudden objections, that in really incompetence. He is either out of touch on what is going on, or, he is fooling the people of Puntland. Are you telling me he was never even consulted for once before they announced?. Yeah I agree, adding Mudug to Puntland would be real federalism. There would be an addition of THOUSANDS of new Puntland citizens who are now H-Block, and this would refute the notion of "clan federalism." And Tillamook mentioned that all of Mudug was offered to be part of Puntland, but they rejected this offer in 1998, due to clan reasons. Which is why Puntland only absorbed 3 districts of Mudug instead of all 5 districts. So I don't see it impossible for Puntland to just absorb all of Mudug and let Galguduud make a federal State with Hiiraan and Shabelleda dhexe. -
The fiction and the reality in Somalia/land-rants from Ghaddafi
DoctorKenney replied to Khadafi's topic in Politics
And yes I agree, the people of Hargeisa shouldn't be celebrating over the construction of a mere shopping mall. But there's nothing wrong with retail as long as there's an active Consumer market and that Somalia has the exports necessary to pay for it's imports. We need to establish an export market in our country. THAT is how you create a Middle Class. Somalia can establish agriculture, fishing, resource extraction, and small-scale manufacturing. That would be more than enough to create a consumer market for our lightly-populated country. P.S. If Somalia establishes a functioning State. An actual functioning State. Then all of this talk about Corrupt Businessmen would mean nothing. Because now we'll have thousands of Somali entrepreneurs and foreign investors, creating corporations and building businesses. And they will force these incompetent businessmen out of business through competition and free-markets. Government programs/regulations is NOT the answer. We Somalis prefer free-markets over Government control of the economy. We tried Marxism in the 1970's and 1980's and it was an absolute disaster. These corrupt businessmen KNOW that they wouldn't be able to survive in a peaceful, functioning Somalia. They benefit off this Civil War. And once the country is stabilized inshaAllah, these businessmen are done. They're finished. -
The fiction and the reality in Somalia/land-rants from Ghaddafi
DoctorKenney replied to Khadafi's topic in Politics
We've been at war for 23 years. There's no concept of "nationhood" that exists amongst the Somalis. Whatever nationalism we might have had, was eroded by the destructive and divisive policies of Siyad Barre. Do you REALLY expect any social progress to occur in our country, when we still have clan militias roaming the highways and the constant threat of inter-clan warfare? Somalia was always poor. I always hear stories of nostalgic 50 year old Somalis talking about how great Somalia was back in the 1970's and 1980's. But anyone who's honest enough, would admit that sure, Somalia was great and amazing for a select few people. Those who had money or those who had connections to the Government lived a great life. But the vast majority of our people were always poor. The public schools weren't up to par. Malnutrition was rampant. It wasn't a golden age at all. And all of the progress, was accomplished not due to Siyad Barre, but by the Chinese or the Soviets or the Europeans or the Americans. We took foreign aid. I mean, there's nothing glamorous about that period at all. I remember reading National Geographic articles from 1982, talking about the plight of Somalia's poor. People were starving to death even then!! And that's when we had a government! So what's to be so nostalgic about!?!? I know, people are gonna come up to me and say, "Well you can't expect it to be perfect"....I know. I get it. But I can look at a country such as Chile or Malaysia and see a lot of problems. But those countries are improving dramatically, day-by-day. And both those countries were ruled by Dictators, so Siyad Barre had no excuse for leaving Somalia in such a terrible condition. It was even easier to establish state institutions and grow the economy, since we had a small population of like 4 million people back in 1975, living in a large country with tons of resources. -

@HawdMan said: Calacalka ha joojiyan reeer islaweyn . The international community has approved of The creation of Central state consisting All Galgaduud and Mudug. Now for these hypocrites to cry foul is expected lkn this will not stop the planned 2016 road map. I say welcome To Galcakyo and Central state , no to laangab qabilism .Your childish fits will not be listen to nether acknowledged . You wanted Federalism you pushed for Federalism haha even in Federaralism you loose. Well done To the president and Prime minister succesfull job done. The irony...If Puntland wants all of Mudug, then how would that be clan federalism? Do you really expect Puntland to just be restricted to Nugaal and Bari? Who do you think lives there? Which tribe? Face it, Puntland absorbing ALL of Mudug, including South Galkacyo, is actually the opposite of Clan Federalism, as a large number of Puntland's new population are H-Block. -
Qoslaye angered the people of Baydhabo AND he also angered the people of Kismayo during the whole Jubbaland ordeal. So him angering Puntland is nothing new This guy Qoslaye has the worst advisers that any President has ever had, ever. I've never seen someone who pisses off so many different groups of people at the same time.

@Holac said: DoctorKenney, Xabad is a self-loathing Somali. That is what they all say when confronted; Oh, I am not even black. No bro, he's not Somali at all. He said it, therefore he's not Somali. Maybe he's Vietnamese or Brazilian, but he's definitely not a Somali, so I have no idea why he's even on a Somali forum.

Breaking news Puntland Cuts Ties with Xamar due to Central State
DoctorKenney replied to Adam's topic in Politics
@galbeedi said: Dr. K no exceptions here. Shabeelaha hoose , bay and Bakool were forced. The Bay people wanted six states. The Un, Igad and the federal government forced three states. Juba, Gedo and Jubbada Dhexe is already decided. Labo gobol ayaa la yidhi iyo wax ka badan. If you go by districts, it could get messy. You either add all of galmudug to Puntland all , or Mudug will join Central state of Somalia. it is done deal. I do not think Puntland can go against the United Nations. This is different Galbeedi. Puntland existed since 1998, so why should they be forced to give up a piece of their territory to fit some technical Constitutional requirement? The case with the people of Bay&Bakool isn't the same, because the SouthWest State has JUST been formed in 2014, so the new Constitutional requirements apply in that case. But since Puntland has been around for 16 years, there should be some form of exemption, where the 3 districts of Mudug can go to Puntland, while the rest of Mudug can be used to form the Central State. But what would be ideal....is for Galmudug to just make an agreement with Puntland and unite to form a larger Puntland State. That would be far less messy, and if it satisfies the people of Galmudug, then that's totally fine. -
@Safferz said: Sounds ideal to me... :D :D

http://www.somaliaonline.com/community/topic/somalilands-support-for-al-shabab-good-or-bad-for-silaanyo-administration/page/6/ Xabad is NOT A SOMALI What is he doing on a Somali website? The way he's always posting underhanded insults at Somalis and mocking us. And then he makes some snide remarks regarding Somali people in the West. Yet he keeps pretending to be Somali. Look at this link. Read what he wrote. He admitted that he's not Somali, this is absolutely disgraceful.

Breaking news Puntland Cuts Ties with Xamar due to Central State

Can't be there some form of Constitutional exemption, where the Federal Parliament allows the province of Mudug to be broken into 2? One half of Mudug going to Puntland and the rest of Mudug going to the proposed Central State? There's nothing wrong with some flexibility here -
Lol, you're kidding me right Living standards...I don't know what else to say. Life expectancy, infant mortality, nutrition, disease control, access to education, poverty rate. Things like that.

LOL Mooge, there's a certain balance with everything you do in life. So vacuuming the house is one thing, but carrying around her laundry and painting her fingernails with an apron on....I can't do that That man looks like a docile housecat....Miskeen wallahi. The pain must be real

Breaking news Puntland Cuts Ties with Xamar due to Central State
DoctorKenney replied to Adam's topic in Politics
I see no reason why Galguduud and Mudug uniting into a single Central State should be rejected. As long as the people of that region voluntarily want to form this Administration, then why not? What's the controversy here? -
@Safferz said: Tallaabo, yes -- the study and its follow up studies are based on data from heterosexual married couples. I'd be curious to see how things look with data from non-heterosexual couples too, as well as unmarried cohabiting couples. The trend is in fact the opposite, couples who share housework have more sex and report more satisfaction in their sex lives. The data above comes from the early 1990s and couples who met and married in the 1960s and 70s, whereas the more recent study that debunks it surveys couples in 2006. Ohhh okay Fine by me. I see no reason why a man shouldn't get involved in shouldering his share of the burden of housework. And if this helps lead to "more satisfaction" as you say, then I guess it's a win-win for the husband and the wife
-
Hahaha I'm gonna make sure I defy that trend

A brand new modern mall opens in Hargeisa
DoctorKenney replied to Libaax-Sankataabte's topic in General
@Ciyaal Facili said: My question is ,did they install Rain water harvesting system, or Solar Panels?. They properly spent few hundreds thousands of dollars on this building. Also Why can't the diaspora when ever they are building a new house,or buying it up, why are they not considering installing a Rain water harvesting system , or Solar panels. It will only cost few thousands of dollars. Practicing sustainability under small scale wouldn't hurt i guess!!. http://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2014/jul/22/rainwater-harvesting-using-the-weather-to-pay-your-bills That's because solar panels are inefficient and very expensive. There's a reason why most countries don't use it. And Somaliland is too poor of a country to afford to start installing windmills, solar panels and all that other stuff that only rich countries like Germany can afford. I used to think the same way, but sometimes we have to be realistic. Solar panels are only good for small-scale projects, such as providing power to a few homes. But if you want to power industry, then you need to use coal or natural gas or petroleum. -
Well of course Africans have the lowest IQ, look at their living standards. As economic growth occurs and living standards increase, and education quality improves, so does the IQ Level. I read this is known as the "Flynn effect" The average American today scores significantly higher on the IQ Test than his ancestors 100 years ago. The same goes for the average Briton, the average Chinaman, etc.

The Birth Of A New Reality In The Middle East
DoctorKenney replied to CidanSultan's topic in Politics
They're even lower than animals. At least an elephant or an eagle or a whale knows his Lord Allah, and acts in accordance to his Fitrah. These Atheists act against their own innate nature....They act against their own Fitrah and reject what should be plainly obvious to them. Allah created them to be monotheist and they plainly go against it. At least when an animal lives like that, it's in the animal's nature. You can't blame a bird for behaving like a bird. -

CidanSultan, Why do you reply to this character known as AllYourBase? He just did it again, he can't resist regurgitating sarcastic paragraphs insulting Islam. AllYourBase doesn't deserve an acknowledgement, let alone a response.
