Why I prefer my kids to grow up in the Middle East [video]

Mad_Mullah;959366 wrote: You see the kids growing up these days in the West. They either lost it completely and start acting like Jamaicans or they go to the other extreme side and become Kebab supporters. Obviously there are some Somalis that are normal, but will their kids be? We see that the situation is getting worse and worse by every passing generation. A time will come in the future where people won't speak Somali, won't go Masjid, won't have Daqqan and Deen. That's why I prefer to let my kids and grandchildren live/grow up in a Muslim environment. [This is of course if Somalia does not improve in the future, if it does, ofcourse I'd let them live there] Worst you'll see in an Arab/Muslim country is this. Forgot this Daqan but kept his Deen. I don't agree taking kids anywhere makes any difference how they turn out, if you decide to do that don't take them anywhere near M/E unless you want them to grow with low self-steam with slave mentality, take them to Africa they will turn out better to my experience. -
Either FM gone rogue and signed the MOU and now FG is in damage control or its just smoke and mirrors to hide behind their true intention, FG must release the full version of documents that FOWZIA signed. Very simple

maybe its not conspiracy:cool: http://somalitalk.com/2011/badda/difaac92.html these guys exposed Sharif/abdirashid deal.

xiinfaniin;959375 wrote: Despite my disagreements with Hassan and his government I still believe this rumored signed agreement by Fawziya, supposedly pertaining Somalia's maritime boundaries, is a mere propaganda. Maybe that is your wish but can anyone explain the first signed agreement was posted before the Qoslaaye signed agreement?

Odey;958265 wrote: I am sick and tired of this charade that is supposedly "Aid" that in actual fact is simply a way to secure their own personal interests. This money hardly reaches the ground. the 30Million donated by the UK in the last year's so called conference hasn't even left their UK accounts. They simply added a few more pennies to the promise they made last year and maybe, they might do a small thing here and there- a token of course. What will happen in reality is that they will dangle this figure in front of the somali government in the hope of getting much deeper concessions, ranging from oil, security, intelligence etc. What little they do decide to release will end up going to some of their own companies that will be based in Xalane camp. What good will that do our country and people?. Wise words, our leaders will never learn. whats 55 million given to NGO? They could get Somalis in Somalia.

Xaaji Xunjuf;958077 wrote: I dont think the constitution says that he has to pick people from other corners when taking part of a conference. People should really stop crying you cant call for autonomous states and say the federal government is being unfair to our clan states. At the same act dramatic and want to be represented at every conference abroad. XX do you think first before you reply? First: Qoslaye is Somalia President his role is to represent the Country. second: we have PM with cabinet who supposed to run the country, all missing in action when needed to present our needs for assistance and receive the help for their ministries. Third: why we have Cabinet? Fourth: all his clans men at meeting none of them are connected to the relevant ministries, they all work at his office.

Daqane;957249 wrote: The picture shows the way Qoslaaye governs Somalia, while Japan PM and his important ministers are there you have Qoslaaye and clans men who work at his office. Presidents are needed to sign documents not lead negotiation that is the job of the relevant Ministers, in this case Finance+Development+security+foreign Ministries all missing replaced clans men.

I am not surprised Qoslaaye action, he is very transparent.

Qoslaaye and Gang won't take an advantage all these opportunities and IC are not shortsighted to waste money. we have seen many times before and nothing come out and this one will be no different, we may get million here and there. We need to fix Somalia first and IC will deliver unfortunately our myopic tribalist leader and his gang won't do it as we have seen last 6 months. Somalia drama goes on.... next IC meeting same promises or more!!!

I don't think Qoslaaye and gang have what it takes to bring united Somalia it will be better that way until we have a competent president and cabinet.

Somali President says Kenyan Peacekeepers 'Misbehaved'

Oodweyne;955362 wrote: I think Hassan Sheikh is playing a hard-ball politics in here. In the sense of trying to take his "wind-behind-sail" advantage in which he received in that IGAD meeting, into a proper diplomatic goal. And by that I mean he wants to cripple any support the Kenyans may give to Ahmed Madobe and Co. if he through his proxies in Kismayo and what he could cobbled together from his forces, were to move to establish themselves as the regional government short of a federal state pending a proper region-wide reconciliation which is what he promised to do. Secondly, he also wants to "telegraph" to Western powers that since he is not confident that the Kenyans are going to do his political bidding then he wants them to accept that a replacement for the Kenyans must be found soon enough and they must be ready to financially underwrite that. And thirdly, he wants the local actors in Jubbaland to know their diplomatic room of "leaning" on Kenya is at end and therefore it will be only time before he gets the wherewithal to do as he "envisaged" for that region. So the message between the lines is that they (i. e., Ras-Kambooni clique) must better start entertaining to deal with him, and not behind Kenyans muscle. All in all its a version of diplomatic hard-ball. Which means it's a high stake game for him to try to play, since if he loses (which means the Western powers decline to push Kenya in the manner he wants them to be pushed) then all will be lost for him and he will be a powerless to impose himself in Jubba region. Hence let's see if his hard-ball diplomacy will be as successful with the western powers as it has been with IGAD's states. Good analysis totally agree but is it necessary to play hardball? when you have no back up? the IGAD packing was not that much to bank on, mostly supported by non players countries that tilted the balance it amounts almost to nothing when it comes Jubaland where Kenya is supreme. Waiting the next move when Kenya shows her hand, lot will be clear and we will know where the donors stand. Qoslaaye made unforced bad move no wonder Kenya is keeping quit unless Donors are pushing Qoslaaye's behind you never know. -

Abtigiis;955349 wrote: President Hassan is right to criticize or stand up to Kenyans if they refused to protect SFG officials. We should support him on this because our loyalties are for the people of Somalia and he is the duly elected leader of Somalia. But if President Hassan wants the Kenyan contingent to impose his officials on the people by overwhelming Ahmed Madoobe's militias who most likely will attack the officials if they leave the airport or their hotels, then, it is a different matter. He will have to get a Parliamentary law outlawing Ahmed Madoobe's militias and declaring war on them. My point is the individual position or belief of even a President must not be allowed to dictate the directions this failed country is to take. If the parliament declides to outlaw RK, then, the President will have a legal basis to ask Amisom to support his crackdown on Ras Kambooni, of course fully aware where that will leave him politically. On the Kenyan contingent, they are in Somalia on the basis of the UN resolution. Their deployment was done under the chapter 7 clause. As unfair as it seems, even the Somali Government can not order their withdrawal. The UN and international actors will have to agree to it. Of course, they cannot disagree with the wish of the sovereign government of Somalia, and they will probably heed the government's call, but they could also re-assesses their support to the government if key regional allies (who have the ears of the west more than the Somalis) convince the UN that this government does not have enough ground support from various clans and therefore the fight against Alshabab cannot be continued with the current format. Every Somali would have supported Qoslaaye if it was sincere call, to single out Kenya shows only his failure to lead and how incompetent he is as leader. -
Qoslaaye and Gangs won the battle but lost the war, what a shortsightedness , if what it s written around is true you have communique supported by least relevant group of IGAD countries in these quagmire and turned the locals very hostile actors.

Chimera Reading what you wrote that is far from the truth, Ngong have a point calling you nothing but a dreamer, that hides behind Nationalist card anyone who is objective will see the truth and its out there unless your blind to the truth. All things you listed have nothing to do with Qoslaaye and gang, almost all was on the table before he usurped the president office with little money from Qatar and brotherhood. that shows your either supporting him and his gang for clannish reasons or you don't understand IC and its design for Somalia. The only thing Qoslaaye and gang succeed so far is kill all the hope we had before his presidency and rekindle tribal hate between communities and set us back a decades.

I always thought Mooge's fadhi kudir was harmless, little did I know that it was a universal world view in some corners of our society. Ridiculous statement without basis, classic Somalis reasoning shift the blame. Qoslaaye doesn't need anyone else help for his tribal minded politics he is doing fine.

well Bare is just a side kick everyone knows so forget it, what matters Qoslaaye was trusted to bring Somalis together contrary to our wishes he is dividing the country by tribal lines hence Ileey and other D block support for Jubaland. why not Galmudug support them? you see my point now? he is the president of the country remember and had golden opportunity but wasted.

Any how situation will be controlled , Delegation of SFG and IGAD will be in Kismayo this week , The Raaskombani Milities will be told to vacate the city and join with SAF. Qoslaaye killed all the hope and only succeeded making enemies out of his supporters like Kismaayo groups, so many ways he could deal with them and make win win, now what do we have H against D scenario then who is to blame? people had so much hope before he was elected now after only 6 months ?

I predict a war that will result a fracture between TWO JUBA AND GEDO for good if the cool heads fail to bring everyone to their sense. each group will stay own area for reasonable time. who is going to lose? Macalinka is right the losers will be the poor unarmed civilians that will be driven out when war breaks out because they belong the wrong group.
