  1. "PL" should shut up and pay it's federal taxes, I suggest 20% of the revenue it collects should go the central gov so that the federal government can quickly liberate all occupied lands. Most of the southern regions can't collect taxes or lack proper administration as they are terrorist occupied territories, I think people need to have this in mind when they are finger pointing.

Well said, i think a total attack and take over of the Afgoye will solve this terror activities occuring in the capital city, you can't have a terror organisation with it's logistics and leadership ony 20m from the centre of Mogadishu and expect peace.
  3. Ali [RA] in an insightfull comment about philosophers he made this claim, that philosophers will philosophize about the creation untill they come to the conclusion that all this is indeed from GOD, then they will ask each other "who created God"? David Hume in his book Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion, after accepting the possibility of a designer in the creation of the heavens and earth, ended up asking, "if there is a designer who created the designer"? Reality doesn't change but perspective does, this premise that Islam is anti-knowledge is just false. Abu Hanifa used to debate the atheist in the Masjid, so did Imam Ghazalli and many other scholars. It's shame modern Muslim don't love education like generation before, you can't pin the blame on Islam. The essence of Islam is that there no speech or action without knowledge, and this principle applies with all branches of knowldges from theology to astrophysics from grammar and logic to pure mathematics and medicine. Most of our wadads now days are semi-literate if compared to polymaths of the past, our scholars are jack of all trades and masters of none, pity. I would like to see a day come soon when our scholars could debate a Sam Harris or a Dawkins or someone of Christopher Hitchens caliber in our mosques, IshaaAllah.
  4. It's good to see a little less hero worship on here for once from the two of you, this is a serious matter InshaAllah i will be making rain dua for puntlanders and all Somalis and non Somalis in the horn.

  6. XX, displaying cognitive dissonance here...before you could unite Africa, stop erecting borders and boundaries where they don't exist, in Land where the natives want to share with majority. You got it backwards, saxib!!

  8. I'm my own man, if you want to debate me then your welcome. With regards to Naik, i'm more Ahmed Deedat fan. His strong accent and robotic persona put me off from the outset.

Xaaji Xunjuf;813952 wrote: As i said Somaliland and Somalia could've been a great countries today if the union in 1960 didn't happen imagine Somaliland not Fighting against the former Somalia government. I never called my self a Somali patriot the Political balance of the former Somali republic was totally changed when the two countries joined. So far i did not talk about clan far iyo meel bugta is og. But i think the NFD region and O'gaden can be independent and be part of the larger union of Somali countries. They can all share the same currency have a nice regional approach when it comes to foreign policy. Get your HIStory right, clan warlord brought down the last central government, you were just one of the many WARLORDS that smashed the GOV for clan glory. Your "clan enclave" is what you were fighting for, Somaliland is just a red herring...we all know the matrix of this political facade.
  11. Alpha Blondy;813950 wrote: what nonsense! Alpha, you bring a GOV down in order that you replace it with a better one, not to leave anarchy so you can save your lil tuulo, you're from the hargeisa "ma nabad baa" crew, there is where your pragmatism ends, i'm afraid.
  12. OdaySomali;813942 wrote: And South sudan was once part of Sudan. Eritrea was once part of Ethiopia. There ways to achieve it but last time round we made very arrogant and collosal mistakes. Somalia should never again claim soveriegnty over the regions which are part of other countries. We just need to support them in other ways but first things first, eh ... **Thumps up**
  13. Xaaji Xunjuf;813938 wrote: NFD and the O'gaden region are Somali territories I don't care what the world says they belong to Somalis Something in me doesn't buy that cry of Somalinimo, XX , cos if you were true then you wont have brought down a dictatorship in Mogadishu so that you could go back home to your traingle towns to create a Country. That wasn't an act of patriotism...In my world view, you're an architect of the misery in the South. Shame your clan loyalty wont allow you to see that reality. P.s You bring a GOV down in order that you replace with a better one, not to leave anarchy!!
  14. Xaaji Xunjuf;813923 wrote: Blessed i believe the EU model of union i dream about Somaliland Somalia Djibouti sharing one currency in the future the league of Somali countries O'gaden and the NFD region can join also when they gain independence. The west will not allow ****** or NFD to gain independence, lets just fix the land that world recognises, which is from Ras Kamboni to Loya Ado and then deal with regional issues. As usual XX, is showing obscurantism by muddying the water with his "Phantom Republic".
  15. This is the first time I have read JEFFREY GETTLEMAN sounding so positive in his column. May the good time roll.
  16. Somalia;813905 wrote: How the hell does affirmative action work in Somalia? He just claims he is from "PL" and viola!! Anyway, PL decides who the President is, isn't it?

  19. Somalia;813898 wrote: Farmaajo isn't going to win if he runs, which is why he's likely not to run this time but the next. He's planting seeds. And seriously cuqdada, I mean free yourself first before you look elsewhere, even if he runs what are you going to say to stop him, "he doesn't recognize us", the charter doesn't recognize you. Let Khaliif Galayr push you over a cliff. We have been recognised, get your facts together and also our land are bigger than Galmudug. O ur troops are at the gate of LA with an eager shaab ready to aid our endevour. The only way the mute PM A Weli is going to get the top job is by affirmative action, he lacks the political skills to pull it off in an open election.
  20. Somalia;813894 wrote: Cause Puntland has more than the 2 state required. You have a village called Taleex. Get your act together my nigga, for real yo. And I would love to see you stop him from being President, the man has done a spectacular job, I like how you blame your own failures on him, liberate yourself my nigga. What do you think we are doing? *doh*. All i'm saying is the Fatso from "PL" has no chance against Farmajo or Sh Shariff.
  21. Somalia;813892 wrote: He doesn't recognize ANYONE who aren't recognized by the TFG Charter. Excuse him for following the law. So you want to take pictures with him? That's why he'll never be the President, the buffoon will be leaving quietly as he arrived. P.s And yeah, according to the TFG charter, Puntland is the only recognised federal state.
  22. Somalia;813885 wrote: These SSC people are obsessed with the PM, he hasn't done anything to them, in fact he has ignored the whole thing which is the wisest thing to do, if they want to accuse him of ignoring the region then he's in league with the rest. Sheikh Shariif was given a loaded question when he was asked if he supports Khaatumo. PM AW, can't stay quite on a matter of national importance like KS, he was busy taking pictures with the Awdal President and busy promoting Jubbaland State in the London press conference when he was asked how inclusive were the Garawe conferences. He can't pick and choose which section of the Somali community he wants to represent.

  25. Governor of Nuugal must have fetish for construction sites, how many times a week does he do these visits? Considering he's got so much time in his hand why doesn't just become the site manager.
