Do people believe that the UN, World Bank and IMF are benign forces in the world? I believe they try to solve most of the problems that they themselves have created in the first place. No outside force will solve Somalia's problems! We just need to quit our kinship politics, it wont work in the 21 century. As for the Prof, while I might not share his old school nationalism but I believe we should listen to what hes got to say and our duty is to follow the Prophet advice and take the best from his speech and leave the rest. The Hargeisa regime has been taking taxes from the Awdal, Sool and Sanaag regions and spent most of it on it's triangle towns. Aid money never leaves the triangle towns plus aid workers are not allowed to leave the "capital" as any aid workers outside the triangle capital are not guaranteed safety.
