..the African union made it clear that Somaliland has a unique case in Africa There is nothing called (unique) about SL. There are many countries in africa colonized by multiple colonial powers, take for example Libya, it's three regions are colonized by the Italians, the French and the British, does that mean they will have to be 3 different countries? NO. take another example Congo Brazeville, it has been colonized by the french and parts of it by Germany. So this unique thing is a non starter, (see map). The stake holding country (Ethiopia) will never want to see another banana republic on its doorstep. And you know and I know Ethiopia has a big influence on the AU since it accommodates it. So Xaaji, Shaydaanka iska naara, dad waa is dilaa waana heshiiyaa ee walaalihiin soomaaliyeed ee idin jecel wax la qaybsada. :0

Xaaji Xunjuf;821340 wrote: If south sudan and sudan agreed if Eritrea and Ethiopia agreed i don't see how the people who speak the same language can't agree.. And you mark my word, no konfurian admin will ever let go SL, its impossible, I am in my forties and still not met someone saying they have the right to secede. Even the Southern clans who are on friendly terms with SL don't want the country to be divided. and if the International community wanted to recognize you they would've campaigned and pressured the tfg on your behalf to let you go, but all the signs show they stand by the unity of Somalia and don't want to open pandora box and see a 3rd republic on Ethiopia's border. And your comparison to South Sudan and Eretria, Well you just scored an own goal, why with a ppl of same language culture and religion be devided like Sudan and Ethiopia. And lastly, if you brainwashed your youth for 21 years, we told ours to keep the 5 star flag.

So do you honestly believe if these talks take place, the Koonfurians will give you the green light for independency? Tell me what does SL wan't to achieve on these talks? you know and I know its almost almost impossible for any Koonfur admin of tfg to let SL go, its almost what unites the southers (The unity of Somalia), So again what is your objective on these talks other than power sharing? if you believe the SL politicians are in for anything other than power sharing and the best part of cake, then you don't know anything about politics.

Xaaji, even the most SL hardliner FA Warabe is giving up on secession, if you listen to the audio he said many times (In labada maamul ay wada hadlaan oo markaa hadii wax la isku darsanayo iyo haddii la kala tagayo lagu heshiiyo) That seems to be less demand than before which the tone was (Go'itaankayagu waa muqadas gorgortan ma galo). can you see the difference?

How could this be I thought, the guide explained to me that they protecting the honour of their local women with whom they would consummate the marriage after five or more years. This, I was informed was a local Xeer law, which aid agencies, through the help of 'locally engaged locals' are working hard to abolish. I don't believe this. You mean they do it with animals? sh!t.

Abaalmarin la Siinayo Qofkii al-Shabab soo Dila ama soo Qabta

...la dilo, ama l qabto.. La qabto haa waa sax, balse in qof la dilo asagoon la baarin wuxuu yahay iyo sababta ku kaliftay inuu shabab ku biiro waa khalad, dadka qaar waa lagu qasbaa sida caruurta iyo maxaabiista, qaar brainwash baa lagu sameeyaa, qaarna shilin iyo caruur biilkood baa u geysay. marka dowladda waxaa looga baahanyahay inay ayada ilaaliso RULE OF LAW. This is dangerous move by Tarsan as some people might kill other for $500 and claim they are Alshabab. somthing like this would help. -
