He needs serious cash to carry out such a project, cash he doesnt have and the little he has will be used to set the upcoming election in his favour. All these moves that are bringing his own family or supporters in key positions is designed with the election in mind. The man is not as dumb as one might think.

Gaas is the only one that can lead Puntland out of this quagmire. He has the experience, knowledge and is a nation builder at heart. He did it for Somalia, he can do it for Puntland for sure. Faroole has had his chance and he squandered it. No sense in giving him another.
