He is amongst those that are busy attacking the constitution particularly the article on federalism in the constitution with the aim of concentrating the power in Mogadishu. What he and those that support this cause forget is that the article ended up in the constitution after years of deliberations and is now our constitution whether they like it or not. That article is there to ensure devolution of powers to avoid exactly what he is arguing for. As Somalia just pointed out, you go there at your own peril.

Calm down people, we still have some time to go before we can officially declare ourselves out of the woods. For the moment we should be grateful for small advances we are making Alhamdulilah. It all depends on the next year and the way the new government charts these choppy waters ahead. If they continue the process of reconciliation that allowed them to come to power and strengthen it, then we have a long term future of Peace Inshaa Allah. We as Somalis tend to declare things as fact before it becomes fact!. One step at a time please
