The same with this man's name. So history is already written, but to try and drag down the rest of us with your ilk is just laughable. I'm not from Caydiids clan.

We know the history of your warlords too, so to you be your history and to me be mine.

^ Yaa geel cuni lahaa kulahaa. Waar wax hagaagsan lasoo shir tag, ur rationalizations for this deprave and un-Somali behaviour just aren't cutting it. -
AUN Caydiid, wuxu ahaa geesi,. I will not condemn Caydiid's evil deeds, while you ppl will not do the same for AY and Morgan and the rest. Jacpher and co are nothing but hypocrites. I totally agree with abwaan on this one.

^ We should've known. Feelings of inferiority/Self-hate is the most insidious and destructive disease known to man. There is more honour in slavery, for atleast a slave has been physically forced into bondage. -

Qof ina gumeed ah ayuun baa waxan oo kale ku kici kara. Acuudubillah. -
Alpha, despite your penchant for cynical commentary and at times misplaced negativity, I find your posts to be deeply insightful and most of all raw.

I would definitely buy any book published by a Soler, just make sure i can find it on Amazon Kindle, as suggested by Chimera. I recently got one, and i've been reading voraciously ever since.

Does that mean he has to identify with and internalize how he is perceived by those who invented the word? The word negro has certain connotations, all of them negative and none of which the somalis share with those who are subsumed under the term.

raamsade, i apologize. I assumed u were one of the many atheists i have seen here on sol, and not because of your tirades against wahabism. In fact i share many of your concerns, and do wish that the wahabbi grip on the Somali religious landscape could be loosened so that we could usher in an era of cultural and intellectual revival.

I dont understand abwaans point either. But it's not only him, ive seen quit a few people who are surprised when somalilanders express their soomaalinimo, as if it was in question in the first place. People still don't seem to understand that it's only a political divorce between two states, and that the most ardent supporter of Somaliland is still someone ay soomaalinimadu lafta kaga jirto. -
^ loool, ur right.

I got serious goosebumps when i heard her sing that wadani song. Thank you Zamzam.

Boldnewsomali, unfortunately looks matter for girls too, though many may deny this. But i assure you, if u exhude confidence and wear ur bidaar or bald head as if God has gifted you with the best set of hair ever, i gaurantee 9 girls out of 10 will overlook it. One thing i never understood was y ppl consider someone to be superficial if they place beauty/good looks among their top priorities when choosing a mate, yet they find it perfectly fine for one to discriminate between possible choices based on intelligence. Just like beauty, raw intelligence (not talking education here) is determined for the most part by ones genetic makeup, and thus one has very little control over it. So what makes one form of vetting socially acceptable, and the other vain, superficial and mean spirited? any thoughts? I personally covet both beauty and brains in a potential mate, and am not apolegetic about it in the least, since physical and intellectual compatibility are essential for a long lasting and fulfilling marriage.
