  1. Only if we could execute our plans, pun intended lol.
  2. Who says we should jail em. I know of a cheaper, more permanent and in many cases more just solution.
  3. There is a significant minority of the population in the south of Somalia that has been reduced to sheer savagery as a result of the perpetual civil war raging in the country for the last two decades. Bringing these subhumans in the article to justice is a must, but i'm afraid it won't serve as a strong enough deterrent to this new tier of degenerate Somalis, who fear niether God, public humiliation nor death.

    A lil Secret!

Narniah, whoever it is u marry will be a lucky guy masha'Allah. It truely is heart warming to know that chaste and modest Somali girls like urself r still out there. Ur among a dying breed, unfortunately.

    A lil Secret!

That explains it lol. If i had brothers i could care less if they dated. Watever illicit behaviour they engage in is between them and God. But sisters, well thats a totally different ball game my friend.

    A lil Secret!

I know most young ppl date nowadays, but I wouldnt want to advise Narniah to do anything I wouldn't allow my own sisters to do.

    A lil Secret!

If you've found out he likes u through your brothers then thats a very good sign. No respectable person would tell a girls brothers he likes their sister unless they had pure intentions, namely marriage. He sounds like a decent guy, but is he educated? Does he pray his five daily prayers? Does he have a job, and lastly how does he treat his mothers, sisters and other women folk in his family? Consider all of these things, and if he ends up passing with flying colours then give him a chance, because it truly hard to come across good people these days. I wish u all the best. P.S. don't take any advice from apophis. Hand in hand kulahaa lol.

    Jareer

lol it does sound feminine. I think Siilaanyo used it once in a speech and that created some controversy.
  9. Wardheer is a historic town. Thats where the beef that started the famous Silsiladda Guba poems happened.
  10. Apo, r u seriously considering relocating? That's great. Considering that Xamar is relatively peaceful now, what makes u choose hargaysa over the pearl of the Indian ocean?
  11. No offence taken Alpha. I can never get upset with a tol of Cabdi Haybe lol.
  12. I don't disagree that it may be a cheap way of validating the claim, but still the example you chose just so happened to be eschatological in nature and I don't think this was a mere coincidence.
  13. Ive never understood why Athiests are so obsessed with religion and theology. U'll rarely see believers discuss atheism on unrelated threads, but atheists almost feel obliged to inject their ideology or lack thereof in to almost every topic. Y is this the case? Are they being haunted and tormented by their beliefs? Are they engaged in an internal battle and need to constantly convince and reconvince themselves? I've seen this behaviour displayed by almost all of our resident atheists here on SOL , and Apo is no exception.
  14. Alpha, I thought u were just man. I asked my question before Apo and u gave him a satisfactory answer and are yet to answer mine.
  15. I'll be honest and say i didn't even watch the clip, but I spewed my usual venom against Arabs based on what I know of them from first hand dealings and second hand accounts of many reliable people. The very first day my step dad stepped foot in Saudi Arabia, he and his fellow Somali roommates were awoken from sleep and beaten like cattle by the police and only after such humiliation were they asked to produce their papers, which they had all along. Cases like this are not isolated in Arab societies because racism is deeply ingrained in their culture. On top of that they r a lazy and backward people. Somalis need to stop emulating and looking up to them, and stand proudly as black Africans.

    Enjoy your live

There are good lessons in many of these stories told by the shaikhs, but the problem is many of them seem made up like the one u just posted. What r the odds the man wouldn't recognize him the second time around, even if he didnt see his face. His voice, body language, stature and gait would all be the same.
  17. Y r they called 'dam jadiid' and not dhiiga cusub? The Arab worshiping goes unabated in Somalia I see and was not restricted to al-shabaab.
  18. You say the oppression started in the north long after atrocities in Mudug, so would this be pre SNM or post SNM?
  19. Xaaji it's not that I'm forgetting, I just don't know much about that period. I was less than a year old when was Hargaysa was bombed to the ground. Ilaahay mahadii I survived and made it to Canada when i was two, so plz excuse my ignorance. Besides the government sponsored settlement of OG folks in waqooyi, wat else can u say justified the creation of the SNM at that time?
  20. Im not denying that SNM liberated Somaliland. I just have two fundamental and sincere questions I need answered. 1. Did the selectively oppressive policies of the SIyaad/MOD regime predate the creation of the SNM or where they precipitated by this groups inception in 1981? 2. Could there have been a different course taken by Northern politicians to deliver justice to their people without destroying the central government?
  21. Ur right, I can't argue with that but couldn't we have brought about change to the policies of the Siad Barre regime without resorting to a rebellion right away? Mida kale, cadaadiska uu Siyaad inagu hayay hadaynu reer waqooyi nahay iyo SNM aasaaskeedii iyamaa horayay?
