Inherently loose, well ofcourse I am. But i control my base desires because I desire sharaf from the community I live in and paradise in the hereafter. Which healthy and verile male doesnt want to sow his seeds far and wide?
-
And yes I intentionally objectified women in my above post, so shoot me Mr. anti-patriarchy know-it-all.

Apo, if I become a bit loose in the future I now know places where I won't be afraid of anyones brother or father  It'll be easier than taking candy from a baby, since infants atleast put up a teary eyed protest, however futile it is.

I don't own them, nor can I force them to do anything. But if they choose a wayward path that will bring shame to me and to them, then I would cut them off for good. Luckily the womenfolk in my family are wonderfully modest, strong and God-conscious, alhamdulillah.

I wonder how far the dayuusnimo goes for the both of u. How about ur sisters or daughters going on dates (western style), is that fine too?

Nothing broken about his somali Apo, but your moral compass on the other hand .......

It wasn't just a certain centrism bro, it was more than that. The things i've learned recenltly about how Somali history was revised to fit a clan agenda has truly shocked me.
-
Oba you know the answer very well. Somali history was written or I should say rewritten in the 70's by one clan for one clan.
-
I was making a side point Apo, about collective memories. I know wat seekers point is. Horta ma booliis dadka loo soo diray baad tahay. Aar naga fuq xabagyahay.

Oo in aan SOL ka baxay oo an qolka Tanzania galay maxaa laygu sheegi waayay. Meeshuba waa wada kidogo kidogo iyo karibu miidhan:D

Oba, those were the best times of my life too. Now, I just don't get things anymore. I can't even tell whose a girl or a guy with these skinny jeans and sissified so called men everywhere.

All memories that can have any sort of ideological bearing or can shift power dynamics in any manner are much more amenable to untruths, since the biological imperative of humans for survival subconsciously precludes the ability to remove biases and self/group-interest when recollecting and interpreting past events. That is why there is not such thing as history, but instead competing histories.

Though i do think that an appreciative smirk was probably missing from our faces while we were living our lives in the past, I don't think it can always be attributed to the all too human tendency to romantisicze past experiences. It may be due to the simple fact that we don't appreciate the good we have until it's gone. As life goes on it often becomes more complicated, mundane and our choices have bigger and more serious consequences, and it's in those moments where we come face to face with lifes toils that we reminisce and become nostalgic for a time when things were objectively much simpler, and happiness, however fleeting, less elusive.

Abtigiis, wallee gob baad tahay. Xaajiguna ma xumee qurbahaa dadki wax aan la garanayn ka dhigay. Waa inuu Awaare ama Salaxlay yara aadaa

Thanks Ismahan. What region of Somalia is this word used? Mudug?
-
Nin-Yaaban, what does Midhaa mean? Judging from the context it's synonymous with malaha. I never come across this word before.

Abtigiis thanks for making the drudgery of a monday morning in the office bearable.

These are fairytales uve been fed from the kacaan myths and the revisionist history of the seventies. The first daraawiish fort to be bombed was Midhisho, in Ghadhwayn HY territory, on January 21 1920. This was followed by the headquarters in Jidbali on January 26 1920. Taleex was the last fort to be bombed on Feb 2-3 1920.

Ok i feel u Oba. -
But Xaaji, doesn't being from irir samaale qualify me for this position? Also, i grew up in a tough neighbourhood in Canada, so Isbaaro experience and that should be equivalent. Nimanku shuruudaha badan ha iga qalayaan, jagada waan u haraadanahee lool.

Al-xaasidu la yaflax yaa Che.

I applied for HAG chairmanship but I was denied because i had never used an Ak-47 before, and because my skin complexion was a bit too light for such a position. I will go to Somalia soon, and remedy both of these flaws
